"Alright students, you may now begin the test," the vice headmaster announced as the students got their exams.
As soon as the test started, Wei An, who had just woken up, yawned. Students who were staring at him were dumbfounded by his behavior but decided to focus on their test, casting him weird glances from time to time.
Wei An composed himself and decided to take the test, ignoring the weird stares that were being thrown at him. He didn't take the test that seriously since he didn't bother to study. Unexpectedly, while reading the test questions, he found the questions surprising.
Ah, it's quite similar to the magic in my world? Isn't this just easy? I thought it was going to be hard.
After a few minutes Wei An finished answering the test; he then raised his hand and asked the vice headmaster something.
"Yes, Mr. Marion?"
"If someone is finished with the test, would they be able to leave?"
"Oh? I assume you're done with yours then. Yes, you can leave if you are done."
After that, Wei An stood up, submitting his paper to the vice headmaster. He then proceeded to leave the lecture hall, ignoring everyone that was staring.
'Who the hell does he think he is? '
'What the hell! Someone's already done?! '
'My gods...how can someone be done already!? '
'I bet he didn't study at all! '
The students were all shocked by what happened; they all thought of the same things. How could he have done it? How arrogant Wei An was or how unacceptable his behavior was. Whatever they thought, it was nothing but wrong assumptions.

Hah...seriously. I've been seeing people give me strange stares ever since I walked out of that lecture hall. Maybe I should've waited for a while before I passed my exam paper.
Well, whatever the case, the exam was quite easy... Who knew the magic here and my world would be so similar? I could've just done the exam while I was there. What's the point of gathering the students to start the exam anyway?
Wei An continued to walk down the halls; he then went outside to the garden. Sitting down on the bench as he had nothing to do. About 10 minutes later, a familiar mint-haired figure walked towards Wei An, sitting down next to him.
"You made quite the scene there, young master Wei An. People must be looking at you with envy right now." Wei An looked at the mint-haired boy, a bit puzzled; he then greeted the boy.
"Your Highness, well, about what happened...I didn't think I made such an impact for you to call it a scene."
"Ah, well, after you left there were many whispers. I was surprised when you finished first."
"Ah...haha." Wei An awkwardly laughed; he didn't know how to respond to Shin's statement.
"Well then, I should get going. I assume we'll see each other tomorrow when they announce the rankings of those who passed."
"Of course, your highness." Wei An bid his goodbyes to the prince; he then stayed sitting at the bench for a bit more. After a while other students started going out.
Guess the test is almost done.
Wei An stood up and went to his dormitory. He didn't have anything to do for the time being, so he decided to call Alfred and told him that he would be staying at the manor of Marion located in Stalia.
"I'll have everything ready for you then, young master."
Wei An nodded and then proceeded to leave, taking the fox with him. As he stepped inside the carriage, he saw a couple of students staring and whispering about him.
'Is that him? The guy who finished first in the test? '
'He was the last to arrive; he probably almost failed the practical test.'
'Do you think he passed? '
'He looks so arrogant; he probably bribed his way in here.'
Wei An ignored the chattering and sat down in the carriage, sighing at the commotion.
"Human, why are they talking about you? Did you not pass?" The young white fox asked.
"No, I mistakenly made a scene today. Pay no mind to it."
"Oh? You can always just tell them to shut up!"
"That's...not happening."
I'm already getting bad rumors about me; I don't need to sound more like a prick.
"You know, for a guy who says they don't want attention, you seem to attract a lot of it."
"Haa...I don't. It'll pass; they're just baseless rumors."

An hour passed, and they finally arrived at the manor. The servants greeted Wei An as he got down and entered the estate. Alfred followed behind, holding the fox for Wei An.
Wei An went inside, going to his bedroom, washing up, and then changing into more comfortable clothing. After that, Alfred served him some food. Wei An sat down at the table near his bed and ate leisurely. The man went near his, also enjoying his own food beside Wei An.
Now that I think about it, this little guy just stays inside my dorm...
"Hey."
"Don't call me hey, stupid human."
"What should I call you then?"
"You think about it. Aren't you my master now?"
Eh? Guess this little guy sees me as his owner now.
"Hm...then, how about Bai Wang?"
"Bai Wang...What does it mean, human?"
"Bai means white, and Wang means hope."
"Oh! Well... It sounds nice! I've never heard of that term before. Where'd you learn it?"
Ah, right. My language is different. Shit.
Wei An gave a smile to the fox and then petted it.
"I just thought of it."
"So it's made up?"
"Yes, it's a name made up for you."
"Oh! Then call me Bai Wang from now on!"
"Yes, yes."
Wei An continued eating as the fox went around the room happily announcing his name. After a while, Wei An finished eating, and the fox was happily asleep in its bed.
Ah, it's getting late. I should sleep too.
As the sky got darker, Wei An slipped into his bed, slowly falling asleep to the quiet breeze of the wind.
