The three captains and everyone else gasped in fear of what they had just witnessed.
"What just happened....?"
"Is he dead.?"
"Yes."
Although the cyclops who had died, was a lot smaller than the rest, it was still hard to believe he had suddenly died just like that.
"B-but how? Where did the truck tire come from?" Someone murmured as everyone watched the huge tire bounce and roll wobbly toward their direction.
Looking closely at the tire, it resembled a huge, abandoned tire everyone was used to seeing a few blocks away.
But that tire weighed a lot of tonnes and this made them wonder who could be strong enough to lift such a weight so easily.
Meanwhile, the tire bumped through the gap as it entered the warehouse, then it hit a stack of crates, breaking the wood and spilling countless bolts and metal scraps on the floor.
From the look of things, it seemed like someone had lifted and thrown the huge tire toward the warehouse, but who ould be foolish enough to do that?
In sector 7, Bruno had a keen interest in recruiting only cyclopes into his team because unlike any other demi-human, cyclopes were known for their brute strength, which was second only to that of Minotaurs in the slums.
However, there were no minotaurs in sector 7, and most of the cyclopes had willingly or forcibly been recruited into Bruno's gang by Bruno himself and no one would be crazy enough to piss Bruno off cause every single cyclopes in sector 7 knows just how strong and terrifying Bruno was.
However, that still hadn't answered their question which was...
'Who would willingly make himself an enemy of the Dark Shadow gang by indirectly declaring war against Bruno?"
Just as everyone tried to wrap their heads around what had just happened, a long and heavy metallic pry bar whistled through the wind as it pierced through the skull of one of the three captains' forehead.
The force at which the iron bar moved managed to lift the captain from the ground, only to impale his head straight to the metal wall behind him.
Everything happened so fast and no one could have reacted in time to such an attack, much less the captain whose skull had been crushed by the pry bar.
Green blood slid down his face as his fingers twitched slowly while his large eye slowly lose its color.
In a matter of seconds, his body sagged and simply hung on the wall with his feet just a few inches above the ground.
He was dead.
"Captain!!!"
One of his lackeys screamed out in surprise while two other subordinates instantly fell to their knees and threw up because of the strong smell of blood in the air and the horrific scene they had just witnessed.
Silence reigned in the room as the remaining two captains instantly turned around to throw out instructions and orders.
"You there, lock the gate!!"
"Also, I need someone to hurry and notify the boss of what had just happened."
Their subordinates nodded in response but just as they were about to carry out their captains' orders, everyone suddenly paused when their eyes noticed a figure standing at the open doorway.
He was wearing a hood but the storm light behind him shone brightly, making Jake to look like a dark cut-out in the brightened entrance behind him.
In his hands were two long metal rods with their tips as sharp as a spear.
Jake tightened his grip on the metal rods but the captains, along with all the other cyclopes behind them tilted their heads with a puzzled look on their faces.
'Was this the guy that threw the huge truck tire?'
'Was he the one who got Mike all spooked up?'
'Was he the one who killed a Captain just now?'
'That's impossible.'
Everyone had the same thought spiraling around their minds because no matter how they tried to think about it, it was strange for a human to terrify a cyclops like Mike and it was even more absurd to think that he had single-handedly thrown the huge tire straight at their hideout and even killed a Captain as well.
"You there, what is the meaning of this?"
"Did you do this?"
The two Captains asked as they pointed to the tire that had caused a huge pile of mess scattered everywhere on the floor.
However, Jake remained silent and this angered the two captains even more.
They flicked their hands forward, signaling their men to attack the puny human in front of them and everyone immediately looked around to grab the closest thing to a weapon they could find lying around.
Once they had grabbed a weapon which was nothing more than wrenches, iron rods, broken pipes and baseball bats, six cyclops lackeys immediately charged through the puddles on the floor.
Their heavy boots splashed water in every direction as they roared, yelled and screamed while raising their weapons above their heads.
Meanwhile, Jake tightened his grip on the two sharpened metal rods as he took a battle stance.
His clothes were completely soaked and his hood clung to his head as rainwater slowly trickled down his face to drip from his chin.
He watched as the six lackeys stormed toward him, but he didn't wait for them to reach him.
Instead, he moved first and the first cyclops swung his wrench at Jake's skull but he ducked low before ramming the rod in his hand straight to the cyclops' gut.
The cyclops immediately dropped to his knees as air and green blood burst out of his mouth.
Meanwhile, a second cyclops tried to attack from Jake's blindspot, but Jake spun and slammed his other metal rod across the knee of the cyclops.
*Crack*
His bone cracked and the cyclops screamed out in pain but a third cyclops charged from behind.
He tried wrapping his arms around Jake's neck to crush him in the most agonizing way possible, but Jake swiftly twisted his heel and drove the back of his metal rod straight into the cyclops' jaw.
A tooth flew out with a spray of green blood and the rest of the cyclops stopped in their tracks to look at the damage Jake had already done to the first three cyclops that attacked him.
