Chapter 6 - Very Cautious

The perspective suddenly shifted.

Yoru awoke from his bed, panting heavily. Beside him lay the sleeping proprietress, Shokyo.

Shokyo's back was smooth and soft.

It felt so good to be alive.

[Arc of Full Moon Activated!

The host has one chance to revive each month. After death, they will be resurrected on the night of the previous full moon.

Reward: One lucky draw beginner.

1- A-Rank Sealing Technique: Seal of Self-Curse Binding (Beginner);

2- Chunin-Level Chakra Amount (Stackable);

3- Ninja Swordsmanship (Beginner).]

Yoru caressed Shokyo's slender waist and beautiful back, enjoying his rebirth, while making his choice.

Beginner Ninja Swordsmanship – this option was quite practical. Next, they would escort Uzumaki Yuka's team. The cloud Ninja they encountered were all skilled in swordsmanship. If he were also skilled in swordsmanship, he would be able to predict their movements, giving him an advantage in physical combat and avoiding death by ninja swordsmanship like last time.

Chakra Amount, and stackable chakra Amount, was also very practical. My current chakra level is at the Chunin level, and without any bloodline abilities, my chakra doesn't grow as quickly as a genius. If I were to use Kakashi's chakra level from the original novel as a unit, my chakra level would be only 0.1 Kakashi.

Yoru ultimately chose the first reward. Who could refuse an A-level sealing technique? The level of a ninjutsu doesn't indicate power, only the difficulty of mastering it. The Uzumaki clan's Seal of Self-Curse Binding is incredibly effective.

A severely injured Uzumaki Yuka used it to completely control two cloud ninjas. After a brief understanding, Yoru understood the principle of this sealing technique. Through contact or by placing it under your feet beforehand, you can seal an enemy. The seal locks all of their joints, immobilizing them.

The system reward is the beginner-level Seal of Self-Curse Binding. When placed on the ground beneath your feet, it has a range of 2 meters. It offers strong control and acts as a highly concealed trap. Not bad, not bad, finally a second ninjutsu.

Yoru reached the window, glanced back at Shokyo's back and legs, then jumped down and disappeared into the dawn of Konoha. While changing equipment in the team locker room, Captain Antelope seemed puzzled. For some reason, Kitsune had glanced at him a little longer today.

Yoru resented that when he died in his previous life, Captain Antelope had shown no intention of saving his team and simply turned and walked away. If he hadn't been able to be resurrected, his death would have been like weeds in a wheat field, meaningless.

In this life, Yoru decided to save the three Uzumaki ninjas, keeping them fighting so they could potentially take on the two cloud ninja teams. The plot was familiar: their team found Uzumaki Yuka's team in the Land of Waves.

This time, Yoru had brought better medicine and bandaged Yuka's wounds more carefully. Yuka was deeply moved. The Uzumaki Village was fortunate to have allies like the Senju and Konoha.

The ANBU before her wore a mask, but she could sense their care.

To ensure the bandage was effective, the bandage reached deep into Yuka's thigh. Uzumaki Yuka had to open her legs wider, which made her feel a little shy. Her long legs were straight, and Yoru had some distracting thoughts in his mind, but not many.

These three Uzumaki ninjas had to stand up straight, and they couldn't die so easily, otherwise he wouldn't be able to survive. After carefully bandaging the wound on the leg, he bandaged the wound on Uzumaki Yuka's hand.

Uzumaki Yuka looked inside through the mask, saw a pair of beautiful eyes, and whispered, "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"I heard your captain call you Fox, what's your real name?"

"Keep it a secret."

Uzumaki Yuka expressed regret. This ANBU was so serious, he wouldn't even tell her his real name.

She wouldn't know where to find him when she returned to Konoha Village. After entering the Land of Whirlpools, Yoru was more nervous than anyone else.

Especially as they walked along the narrow path between the wheat fields.

Recalling scenes from his previous life, Yoru found reference points and the location of the explosive tag trap.

The cloud ninja were incredibly powerful, impeccably hidden, having been hidden there for who knows how many days.

He pulled three shurikens from his ninja tool bag and threw them far into the wheat stalks on the side of the road.

Everyone else looked at Yoru in confusion, unsure of what he was about to do.

The next moment, the explosive tag exploded!

It turned out Yoru had discovered the explosive tag trap.

Captain Antelope couldn't help but glance at Fox. Fox's observation skills were remarkable; he'd spotted the explosive tag, something he hadn't noticed.

"There's an ambush!"

Eight cloud Ninjas rose from the wheat field, their kunai and shurikens flying.

Yoru, following Uzumaki Yuka, rushed into the wheat field.

A cloud ninja raised his sword and slashed fiercely at Uzumaki Yuka.

Uzumaki Yuka preemptively formed three hand seals and raised his kunai to block.

With a ding! The cloud ninja suddenly stopped moving.

The clashing of ninja sword and kunai abruptly ceased, and a curse seal appeared on the cloud ninja's body—the seal of sel-curse binding!

Yoru watched in fascination.

So this sealing technique was so practical in actual combat.

The immobilized cloud ninja was stabbed to death by Uzumaki Yuka's kunai.

Another cloud ninja rushed towards Yoru.

While blocking the sword, Yoru led the cloud ninja to Uzumaki Yuka.

With Uzumaki Yuka's help, Yoru successfully stabbed the cloud ninja in front of him.

His decision was so wise; saving Uzumaki Yuka had indeed increased his chances of survival.

A cloud ninja captain set his sights on Uzumaki Yuka.

Seeing the captain's interested look, Yoru pretended to help the purple cat and quickly retreated.

Don't let the fight between captains get to you.

Killing a cloud ninja had already fulfilled their target, so now it was time to slack off.

If they could, they'd slack off; if they couldn't, they'd keep slacking off.

Yoru jumped around the purple cat, seemingly busy, but in reality, he was only trying to intimidate the purple cat's opponent, with little real effect.

Even so, the purple cat's pressure was greatly reduced, and he was gaining an increasing advantage in physical combat against the cloud ninja.

Seeing the purple cat stab the cloud ninja, Yoru quickly stepped forward, and together with the purple cat, they stabbed the cloud ninja to the left and right, killing him.

The two exchanged glances, feeling a bit like teammates.

Just then, a woman's screams echoed from behind.

Uzumaki Yuka had been kicked away by the cloud captain, suffering two more stab wounds.

Yoru thought to himself, "Oh no! This woman is useless! I've helped you so much, and you can't let me just sit there and slack off. Isn't that all for nothing?"

The cloud ninja captain wasn't feeling much better either, stabbed in the abdomen by a kunai, bleeding. He took advantage of the situation and charged forward, ready to slash the fallen Uzumaki Yuka to death.

Uzumaki Yuka formed seals with both hands and used all her strength to perform the seal of self-karmic binding.

The sword of the cloud ninja captain had already fallen, and it was only 30 centimeters away from Uzumaki Yuka's wrist, but it was bound by the curse seal and could not move.

He trembled, squeezing out the last of his strength, wanting to cut off the wrist of the female ninja and eliminate her ability to resist.

Purple Cat saw the knife wound on Uzumaki Yuka's body and judged that Uzumaki Yuka was no longer worthy of protection.

He rushed over, and the kunai went straight to Uzumaki Yuka's throat, with the intention of killing.

Yoru secretly thought that it was not good, Uzumaki Yuka was still useful. If she died, wouldn't he still not be able to live?

He and Purple Cat together could not beat the cloud ninja captain.
