Chapter 7: Shinichi became Conon
So, he is simply waiting here to get the things right. At that time professor Agasa has done an experiment and his house got blasted. Fortunately Yuuki Rito hid early knowing the plot and was not affected by the blast.

Yuuki Rito asked the questions and came to the conclusions on with his simple deduction making things easy for Shinichi. For the first time Shinichi felt good that Yuuki Rito can deduce things so well and found the main point. As for other nonsense he was not bothered by it.
They did not stand in the rain to talk but went to the house of Kudo Shinichi to talk about it. After all the house of professor Agasa was already broken and it needs to be cleaned. It cannot be done in this situation with rain and it is already night.

Finally after back and forth the name 'Edogawa Conon' came out starting the main plot and the world would fall into a strange time line from this point. Till now the time line moved normally but from now things would change with long gaps.
Yuuki Rito can use these gaps to meet with those people that he is interested in. for example the one from the one outs anime called Tokuchi Toua. He is an extremely intelligent related to psychology of a person.
Yuuki Rito wants to become his friend and bring him into his team. There are others in this plan like Akagi the gambler and Kaiji that is really good at planning and also gambling. Even if he could not get them into his team investing in them would give him plenty of benefits.
While Yuuki Rito is thinking, professor Agasa asked Ran if she could take care of Conon and then Conan and professor Agasa talked secretly. Well Yuuki Rito can see that something is wrong but Ran looked like a dumb head.
If not she would not be the heroine here. In comparison Sonoko is much more intelligent and she almost discovered Conon many times. She is currently the nominal girlfriend of Yuuki Rito and Yuuki Rito was pulled by her around many times.
Most of the time, she wanted Yuuki Rito to cook food for her, instead of her cooking for her. Think about it, in the anime and stories of this country most women would cook food that is the bento box for their loved man. But here it is different.

"Ran… You don't have to worry about uncle Kogoro accepting him to stay. He can stay with me for a few days. I have plenty of room in my place for him to stay." Yuuki Rito said to Ran making her accept it directly.
Yuuki Rito then turned towards Conon and whispered. "Any way I want to learn from uncle Kogoro about some detective stuff during this time so it is not a problem as we all live in the same place. It might help you find those men in black."
His words made Conon think normally. Yuuki Rito just built up few barriers here and there. It is not that he wanted to separate Conon and Ran but he don't want them to be together like this. This way he can also participate in their small group thing.
