The next day.
Taking advantage of Saturday, Hawke arrived early in the morning at the apartment across from Queensboro Bridge Park.
His new apartment was right there.
Finding it didn't take him long.
After all, good, affordable apartments are hard to find, and budget apartments are plentiful.
But even for budget apartments, landlords wouldn't rent to a minor, especially one without a guarantor.
However...
Hawke quickly explained that he had filed for independence in court, and the landlord finally relented.
And so,Hawke arrived early in the morning.
Seeing that Hawke had obtained legal recognition for independence, the landlord didn't hesitate and signed a lease agreement. After Hawke paid six months' rent, he handed over the apartment keys, completing the handover process.
After the landlord left, Hawke closed the door and looked at his new apartment.
It was just as small.
To put it bluntly, it felt like a box crushed by life.
Old carpet, mottled walls.
The living room was pitifully small, with a secondhand sofa and a folding dining table, and turning around was a crapshoot.
The bedroom was the same; after putting in a bed, there wasn't much extra space.
But despite the small size, everything was there.
Most importantly, this new apartment, like his previous one, had an emergency staircase leading directly to the rooftop.
This was why Hawke had asked the landlord for time to deal with the court independence issue.
Besides, for an apartment costing $700 a month, who would need a bicycle?
Hawke spent two days cleaning and furnishing his new apartment.
The furnishings meant buying a new mattress and replacing the worn, even yellowed, shower head in the bathroom.
He also opened the windows and aired the apartment out for two days, which finally dispelled the curry smell that had been lingering in the room.
Of course.
Hawke didn't forget.
Taking advantage of the night, he ran to his treasure trove and brought back his own loot, the five Chitauri weapons.
He wrapped them in the bedsheets from his original apartment bedroom and tucked them under his bed.
At night,Hawke, just as he had in his previous apartment, bought a burger and a Coke downstairs.
Then, he took the emergency staircase to the rooftop of his new apartment.
After a quick look around, he found a relatively clean spot and sat down.
He ate his burger while gazing at the stars overhead.
As the stars twinkled in the night sky, the stars in Hawke's Cosmo also twinkled.
Hawke had already decided which bronze constellation he would light up for the first time.
Not Pegasus.
Not White Bird.
Not Dragon.
But
Phoenix!
Constellations are not only vessels of Saint power, but also seals of inheritance.
Once a Saint awakens his Cosmo and possesses his own constellation, he inherits its attributes.
Hawke believed that among the forty-eight bronze constellations, none possessed attributes comparable to those of the Phoenix.
This was because the Phoenix possessed an attribute not even possessed by the twelve zodiac signs.
The Phoenix was immortal, merely in nirvana.
If the core of Draco was the dragon's strength and protection, then the core of Phoenix was immortality and nirvana.
Bad news.
Because of the Phoenix's bugged core, the requirements for becoming a Phoenix Saint were exceedingly harsh.

As far as he could remember, Phoenix had never appeared in the eighty-eight constellations of Saints planned by Athena since the First Holy War, until the SS arc.
Good news.
This wasn't the Saint Seiya universe, so the Phoenix here wasn't as aloof as its counterpart.
As long as he lit up the Phoenix constellation map in his own Cosmo, he would obtain the Phoenix Core the next moment.
The Phoenix never dies, merely undergoes nirvana.
Its life force reaches a terrifying level. Even if it were slain, it wouldn't truly die. As long as Phoenix remained, it would be reborn, rising from the ashes.
So...
Hawke would have to be mad to leave the Phoenix constellation map unlit and instead light up another constellation.
After all, his original aspirations remained unchanged.
To survive, if possible, to live comfortably and for a longer time.
After confirming the constellation where his first illuminated star belonged, Hawke no longer hesitated.
He mobilized the twelve stars in his microcosm, lit by his defeats against the Chitauri, and began constructing his own map of the Phoenix constellation in his own microcosm, modeled after the Phoenix constellation.
Phoenix is composed of one second-magnitude star, two third-magnitude stars, and six fourth-magnitude stars.
The star Hawke had illuminated in his microcosm by defeating the Chitauri soldiers was the smallest fourth-magnitude star.
Two fourth-magnitude stars combine to form a third-magnitude star, and two third-magnitude stars combine to form a second-magnitude star.
So...
"Two more missing."
"Not bad."
"Beautiful."
Hawke smiled as he sipped his drink, watching the sky above his microcosm illuminate.
Only two more stars were needed to complete the Phoenix constellation.
At that moment, the shadows of the remaining forty-seven bronze constellations flickered in his microcosm.
For some reason,Hawke suddenly sensed a resentful accusation from the other forty-seven bronze constellations.
But amidst the accusations of the forty-seven voices, a phoenix cry was heard.
Following this cry, the accusations of the forty-seven bronze constellations faded.
Uh…
Hawke blinked, looking at the Phoenix constellation chart above his microcosm.
The mostly illuminated Phoenix constellation hovered like a truly proud phoenix, gazing down upon the other forty-seven bronze constellations.
It was clear.
As Hawke's preferred constellation, the proud Phoenix was now even more proud in the presence of the other forty-seven bronze constellations.
Look!
Phoenix is the best!
Hawke's mouth twitched, and after a moment's thought, he left his microcosm and returned to his new apartment via the emergency staircase without lingering.
A moment later, lying in bed, Hawke, still half asleep, closed his eyes as he once again pondered the matter of the armor.
Illuminating the Phoenix constellation would grant him access to its Immortal Core.
Forging and donning the Phoenix armor would grant him access to the constellation's unique powers and skills.
For example the Phoenix Phantom Fist, which shatters the enemy's spirit, not their body.
A mental attack that directly invades the enemy's mental world, ripping their spirit body into pieces with its own powerful mental force.
And another.
That's transforming into a phoenix, unleashing a powerful, burning airflow like a phoenix's wings.
This ultimate move, possessing the power to destroy everything, is a secret technique unique to the Phoenix constellation.
Phoenix Wings Soar!
