Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Dream

Chapter 11: Dream

First, the range: the surrounding area that could be perceived through telekinesis had reached a diameter of four hundred meters.

The maximum weight of objects that could be controlled had also exceeded two tons.

"Seriously, I haven't had enough fun yet."

Sitting back on the bed, Danny still had a hint of lingering excitement on his face.

"Alright, once my power gets stronger, I'll take you up into the sky for a real flight; that'll be exciting."

Upon hearing this, Danny's face instantly filled with anticipation, and he immediately urged, "Then what are you still standing around for? Hurry up and go train!"

"You rascal!" Aiden playfully punched him.

His abilities reaching their current level was inseparable from his daily training over the years.

Thinking of this, Aiden couldn't help but envy Jean.

Jean was different from him; she was completely gifted.

He had never seen her train much, yet the intensity of her telekinesis was dozens of times stronger than his.

Currently, Jean could easily lift dozens of cars without even breaking a sweat.

There was truly no comparison.

If he had the same psychic abilities as Jean, perhaps he could directly obtain the data for the "Cerebro" from Hank's mind.

Of course, Aiden felt that with Charles's wisdom, he might have already thought of this, and perhaps Hank's mind had been set with some psychic barrier by Charles, or Hank himself had created some anti-psychic prying device.

Otherwise, such a powerful weapon would have long since fallen into the hands of those with ulterior motives.

"Sigh, if only there was something that could strengthen my telekinesis," Aiden couldn't help but lament.

Just then, Danny, who was beside him, suddenly spoke.

"Something to strengthen your abilities? My uncle might be able to do it."

Aiden was immediately intrigued.

"Your uncle?"

"Yes, he's a very brilliant scientist, and my father works for him."

Hearing Danny mention that "uncle," Aiden's gaze flickered slightly.

Because the scientist uncle Danny was referring to was Howard Stark.

Who was Iron Man Tony Stark's father.

If it was him, he might really be able to help Aiden's abilities grow stronger.

Aiden had already learned in these six years that this World was not just a simple Mutant Universe.

But a fused Marvel Universe.

This World was even more dangerous and mysterious than he had imagined.

"Then it's settled. This summer break, you'll come to my house, and I'll ask Uncle Howard to help you," Danny said happily.

For a teenager, the happiest thing is naturally inviting friends to their home to play.

This is a symbol of friendship between children, and it can also be said that they want their family to meet their best friends.

It could be said that Danny truly considered him a friend.

"Thanks, Danny!" Aiden also showed a knowing smile and raised his hand, making a fist.

Seeing this, Danny also instinctively raised his fist and bumped it against Aiden's.

"Hey, what's this for? We're buddies! But if you get stronger later, don't forget to give me a good ride in the sky," Danny chuckled.

"Deal!" Aiden readily agreed.

The two made a pact to go to Danny's house for the summer vacation together when Danny's father came to pick him up a few days later.

Aiden naturally informed Charles about this matter.

Unlike his previous refusal to leave the school, Charles did not hesitate much this time and readily agreed.

After all, Jarvis was backed by the renowned Stark Industries, one of the top military industrial enterprises in the United States.

Charles was not worried about Stark Industries' power to ensure the safety of the two children.

However, the next afternoon, Jean, who had somehow learned of the news, immediately sought out Aiden.

"Aiden, I want to go out with you!" Jean said slowly, her light blue eyes fixed on Aiden.

Jean had blossomed into a graceful young woman.

Her fiery red curly hair cascaded behind her, her features were delicate, and faint freckles adorned her nose, making her round face even more adorable and captivating.

She was one year younger than Aiden, but her height was already around 1.65 meters, which was quite tall for a girl.

"Jean, I'm going for something important, not to play," Aiden explained.

As soon as he spoke, Jean fell silent.

After a long pause, she finally said, "Are you blaming me for not wanting to help you anymore?"

Aiden was stunned by her words, instantly realizing that Jean was overthinking things.

He stepped forward, gently stroked Jean's fiery red hair, and softly comforted her, "What are you thinking? When did I ever blame you? I'm going to Danny's house for the summer because his uncle is a very brilliant scientist, and I want to go and learn from him!"

Feeling the warmth and caress on her head, Jean's lightly freckled face flushed slightly, but she did not swat away Aiden's hand; instead, she narrowed her eyes.

"Then remember to come back early!" Jean said, then suddenly pounced on Aiden, hugging him tightly.

The faint floral scent and softness of the girl's body made Aiden feel a little dazed.

Before he could react, Jean quickly released him and then ran off without looking back.

As she turned, Aiden clearly saw the lingering blush on her face.

"This girl," Aiden shook his head with a chuckle.

Another day passed, and when the last class of school ended, it marked the arrival of the two-month-long vacation.

The students cheered and packed their belongings, waiting for their parents to pick them up.

Aiden and Danny also packed some things.

Danny didn't have much, only some books, as his father, being Howard Stark's butler, naturally had good family conditions; if he lacked anything, he would simply buy it.

And Aiden only packed a few changes of clothes, also bringing some books.

After packing their luggage, the two fell into a deep sleep, resting up for the arrival of dawn.

Late at night, everything was silent, with only the chirping of cicadas and croaking of frogs playing a midnight melody.

In the dormitory, Aiden and Danny were deep in slumber.

Danny was sprawled out, most of his blanket on the floor, his sleeping posture still hard to look at.

As for Aiden, he slept perfectly straight.

Suddenly, Aiden, who was in his dream, frowned, his expression appearing somewhat pained... In the hazy dream World, Aiden didn't know how he had arrived there.

There was only an indiscernible black mist, and nothing else could be seen.

He walked through this black mist, trying to find a glimmer of light.

But in the dark and endless space, he couldn't even determine the most basic direction.
