'Little helpers...?'
'What!'
Milo thought as the figure that stood before caused his eyes to shoot open in shock and cold sweat to run down not just his face, but his whole body.
But he didn't know why? In fact, he had seen this person quite to much for his own liking back in the facility.
In the halls, at the cafeteria, in the bathrooms and even after general assemblies on Sunday nights.
Despite all this...
"H-hah..."
His breath wavered rapidly.
Splish, splash.
His body shivered to the point, where even his knees buckled while he knelt helplessly in on this or fluid ir whatever it was.
Snap!
"Huh?"
A thunderous snap echoed in this dark void and Milo suddenly found himself kneeling next to the professor.
Splish, step, splash, step, sploosh!
The fluid splashed softly as the figure that had emerged from this vast void approached.
Its shadow hovered over the professor, who looked at it with an eerie calmness that confused young Milo greatly.
'Damn, this kid's got us shaking in our boots like little kids, but this old man...'
Milo thought in admiration as glanced at Hank whose head hanged from his shoulder and stared at this floor as if this fluid contained it were the most interesting thing there and then back at ludrick as he then finished, 'He's tough.'
Although this seemed to be the case in Milo's POV, for Ludrick whose eyes were devoid of any signs of emotions, his breath still and focus thoroughly fixed on the figure before him, he knew...
Knew that Kian knew...
What he was doing. What he was supposed to be doing right about now. And that he could stop nonetheless.
This frightened him. And greatly so, but nevertheless he suppressed his emotions.
Ludrick then closed his eyes and a small perked at the corners of his lips as he scoffed in thought, 'Hmph, this kid... just what the heck are you? To be able to make even a Primal like myself tremble like this and maje me use this technique....'
He paused as he opened his eyes and gazed upon the kid that stood tall and proudly before him.
Abs speaking of kid who was this kid that Milo and Ludrick spoke of...?
Well it was none mystery really because before this kid had hidden and played about in the shadows of this void for a while before revealing him/herself.
And in the eyes of the old man stood a boy with russet skin that shone dimly under this unknown source of light, his hair was a shiny jet black collection of dreads that shone explicitly under the same light, his almost thin almond shaped eyes and Vandyke brown irises reflected the same light, but with and even brighter glow than his hair.
And standing at 3'9 feet tall was Kian Vian himself. The boy who seemed to be the angle and devil of the facility in one. Almost as if he bore a dual personality.
'Could that be?' Ludrick mused in thought.
Kian towered over the three, his face montarily expressionless as his aura now resembled that of this eerie and mysterious void.
Dark and empty.
So much so that not even one universe suffice for filling this place.
And that was exactly how professor Ludrick and Hank felt. They felt as if their were lesser than merely insignificant ants faced before a titan that could eat worlds.
Milo being of a lower level than the two obviously way less than other two could.
After what seemed to be a long while, Kian's lips curved upwards and his eyes narrowed as he spoke, "Professor."
"Hm?"
"Huh?"
Sploosh.
Milo and Ludrick hummed in response as Hank flinched slightly just from the mention of Ludrick's name.
"Hank and Milo."
He added as he the suddenly, but slowly bent his upper down to 90° angle while folding his right hand behind his back and stretching out his left as he continued, "Forgive me for my rudeness, but I was just testing something..."
Snap!
"Wooow!"
Milo gasped.
Craaack.
"Hmmm, finally."
The old man yawned and stretched in relaxtion.
"..."
And Hank remained the same way he was.
For their reactions were not to be lightly taken about.
Because no sooner had Kian paused his statement, than had he snapped his fingers when the trio suddenly found themselves sitting on tables that had white cushions made with what seemed to be waxed limed oak wood.
Kian's wasted no time as he sat down himself.
Snap!
A round ordinarily sized appeared right before them after another snap of Kian's fingers.
"There's even a table here? That's so nice."
Ludrick acknowledged the table and Kian basked in the praise, but humbly so.
'First this place, then these guys, then him, then his aura, then he snaps us into seats and now a table?!'
Milo thought as he looked Kian whose attention was equally fixed on them all.
'Just what is this kid?'
Kian suddenly smirked even more than before as he then stood up on the chair and said, "Silly me, I forgive that these kinds of chairs are for the big people so ill just stand here to put myself on... equal footing as the rest of you."
Kian finished his statement which caused Milo to shiver suddenly.
"Oh Milo, don't be scared. I'm not here to hurt you in fact I'm-"
"Hah..., you damn problem of a child. Could you just get straight to the point of bringing us here?"
Ludrick whined about towards Kian who suprisingly nodded in understanding and then set his hands on the table and leant his upper body slightly as he opened his mouth to say, "Gentle men, I'm here to make you an offer that would anger some, interest a few and yet bring in the mass in less than a month."
Milo continued to stare at Kian blankly while Ludrick's brow raised a bit in suspicion.
"And I am also here to caution you."
The two straightened their backs and pulled their chairs closer to the table.
"As you can see, for the past few days... maybe 5 or 6, I have been doing somethings."
"Like what? Orchestrating that hell of a mess you caused out there for mearly a whole week?"
Kian smiled faintly and replied, "No, no, no my boy. That was the part of the primary plan they were carrying out."
"And that is..."
"A destruction."
Milo mused while Ludrick answered.
"Ding, ding, ding. You won the guessing game first round. And now for the second round, or what we will call...?"
"Your secondary plan."
"Yeeerp! My secondary plan and could you guess what that was?"
Silence over the space of this vast void as the two looked at Kian with a contempt look of interest as if they were eager to learn.
Kian then opened his mouth and said, "Beep, beep, beep. Ah aw you failed. You see folks the secondary part of my plan.
Which is made of two steps namely: Mislead and retrieve."
"Step two which is mislead(2) that is also part of step one which is mislead(1). And with those successful operations step 3 which is retrieve was able to be completed flawlessly."
Kian said word for word with a strong assurance and yet confusing order to go about things.
Milo who had stopped being able to process all that was saud just now patted on the professor's shoulder and whispered, "Hey what did mean by all that?"
"Hah...., damn idiot. It means that while Kian got those kids to fight, he was able to likely make some tours around the facility. Once he finished, he would then go on and take hold of the opportunity to go back from wherever he made his most beneficial discovery. Am I right?"
"And is that all you had to think about the my plans?"
"No, because things didn't go in the exact same way you had hopped they would so you have no choice, but recruit a few more little helpers using this strange ability in your arsenal."
Kian didn't respond he only stared blankly at the old man as if he were intertwining his feelings between complete shock and admiration.
Or at least what he had to make it look like.
"Now kid, here's my fun question for yah. How do you intend to spread your influence and gain more 'little helpers' so that you can run things smoothly?"
For a moment a deep silence enveloped through out the air that was in-between the four.
Kian stayed quite and this sparked a feeling of confidence in the old man and Milo. Harry to had lifted his head and turned his gaze to the old man in acknowledgement of his mental prowess.
Kian finally moved his lips as his voice aired out, "You see... old man your not qui-"
DOOOOM!
"WOOOOW!"
"AH!"
"PROFESSOR!"
"Hm?"
"Is it time already?"
A sudden burst of energy ruptured through this mysterious void which caused panic in the three men that sat before Kian.
And all of sudden,
"Wooo~w?"
Milo shakily mused as his breathe weakened, his energy wavered, his vision blurred and his head bulged tensely.
Ludrick and Hank also felt the same symptoms and the three men collapsed quickly to the puddle like ground.
'Dammit, that kid... he knows something that i don't. And he was about to... no, that couldn't be the case. He... looked utterly defeated just now there is no... way.. he...'
Ludrick's thoughts wavered as his breathe continued to weigh him down even further.
And just when he was about to close his eyes fully, "Old man... no professor hoisting, you'll be an important card in my game so I cannot lose the chance to work with you..."
Kian's voice echoed within the old man's mind.
"So meet at the @£!=%"£_&, at }¥€¥}|\~ time and we shall conclude our conversation from there."
As the old man finally let go of his stronghold over his consciousness, Kian's voice echoed one last time stating that, "It was almost time..."
....
After seemed to feel like an eternity, the okd man finally awoke.
"Ughhhh!"
A muffled groan escaped from his old mouth.
Shhhp!
"Ah, damn."
The old man sat upright as he looked at his surroundings and saw that he was in the clinic area.
But he didn't feel like he was alone.
So he looked to his left, from where he felt the conscious linger from and as he pulled the curtain that separated him from the next bed.
And as he pulled them he eyes darted wide open as he saw....
