The next day, Mo Fan decided to seek help from someone influential.
"Hello? Mo Fan?" Song Lin's voice was clear and welcoming.
"Good morning, Ms. Song Lin," Mo Fan greeted respectfully.
"Good morning. What's up? You called so early," she noted with a hint of curiosity.
"I... I actually needed a favour, if it's possible," Mo Fan hesitated for a moment.
"Hmm? What is it?" Song Lin's tone was gentle, encouraging him to continue.
"My little sister wants to attend Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, and I was wondering if you could help with her admission process," Mo Fan explained, his voice earnest.
"Zhejiang University? No problem! I'll send my people there and make sure she gets in," Song Lin responded pleasantly, without a moment's hesitation.
"Thank you very much, ma'am. I'm sorry for the trouble! Even though we don't know each other well, I'm grateful for your help. I will definitely return the favour in the future!" Mo Fan expressed his gratitude, bowing even though she couldn't see him.
"It's fine, Mo Fan. You're still a kid, so don't try to force yourself to act like an adult. Compared to what you've done for the people of Bo City, what I'm doing is nothing but a small thing. Also, you're my precious daughter's beloved student! There's no way I can say no to you," Song Lin said gently, her tone akin to that of a loving mother.
"Thank you very much, ma'am," Mo Fan's heart moved at her words. He couldn't say anything but thank her.
"I'll call after taking care of the admission process. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask, okay?" She hung up after reassuring him.
Mo Fan let out a sigh of relief. "That takes care of Xinxia's admission," he murmured to himself.
But his mind was not at ease. "It's strange... Executive Secretary Song Lin didn't exist in my previous life. At least, I never heard about her from Tang Yue or Tang Zhong... And how did Tang Zhong become the Chairman of the entire Enforcement Union of China? He wasn't the Chairman or a Forbidden Curse Mage in my previous life. Hmm... What is it... Some parts of this life are the same as my previous one, while others are not. Is it because of my regression back in time causing a butterfly effect, or am I in a completely different universe? I mean, I did originally get transferred from a normal world into a magic world similar to my own. Is it possible for there to be multiple parallel worlds similar to mine?" Mo Fan wondered aloud, his thoughts a tangled web of confusion.
His mind raced, trying to piece together the anomalies. "Tang Zhong was a powerful figure, but never to this extent. And Song Lin, she's like a guardian angel appearing out of nowhere. Could my actions have altered the timeline so drastically? Or is this a different reality altogether?" he mused.
Mo Fan stared out of the window, the morning sun casting long shadows across the city. "If this is a different universe, then what else has changed? Are there threats here that I haven't encountered before? New allies? New enemies?" He felt a chill run down his spine.
The idea of parallel worlds was daunting. "If I can't rely on my past knowledge entirely, I need to be more cautious. Every step I take could have unpredictable consequences," he realized.
"I need to gather more information, find out what else is different," Mo Fan decided.
"Brother Mo Fan, Sister Yu'er! Breakfast is ready!" Ye Xinxia's voice echoed from the dining room.
"Coming!" Mo Fan responded.
...
"I'll call after taking care of the admission process. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask, okay?" Song Lin reassured gently before hanging up the phone.
"Hmm? Ma, who were you talking to?" Tang Yue asked groggily, stumbling into the kitchen with messy bed hair and wearing cozy, animal-themed pajamas. She yawned deeply, making her way to the dining table and plopping down beside Song Lin.
Song Lin, frowned at her daughter. "Jeez, at least brush your teeth before eating!" she scolded as Tang Yue began nibbling on an apple slice that Song Lin had cut.
"Later…" Tang Yue mumbled, still half-asleep.
"So, whose admission process were you taking care of?" Tang Yue asked again, nonchalantly.
Song Lin sighed, casting a sympathetic glance at her daughter, who had turned into a total slob during her house arrest. Tang Yue's once-vibrant spirit had dulled, she was completely cut off from the outside world, the only thing she could do was cultivate and play games.
Tang Yue had been deported back home and placed under strict house arrest by her parents, Tang Zhong and Song Lin, after they found her in Bo City. Her phone had been confiscated, her number disabled to prevent any tracking. The extreme measures were necessary; they were dealing with the Black Vatican, a ruthless organization that would stop at nothing if they discovered she was an enforcer on a covert mission. Her life had become a prison, devoid of contact with the outside world.
"It was Mo Fan," Song Lin finally said, sitting down to eat her breakfast. "His sister wanted to get into Zhejiang University, so I said I'd help with the admission process."
Tang Yue's demeanour instantly changed at the mention of Mo Fan. Her eyes snapped open, and she sat up straight, fully awake. "Mo Fan? You have his number??" she asked, clearly surprised.
"Yeah," Song Lin confirmed with a nod.
Thud!
"Why didn't you tell me?!" Tang Yue suddenly shouted, her voice filled with a mix of anger and frustration. The maids glanced over when they heard the noise, surprised by her outburst.
"Whoa! Calm down! What's wrong with you all of a sudden?" Song Lin exclaimed, taken aback by her daughter's outburst. Was Tang Yue finally entering a rebellious phase at the age of 20?
"Mo Fan! You guys were keeping in contact with him all this time and you never told me about it? Why?" Tang Yue's voice quivered with emotion, upset that she had been kept in the dark.
"Yes, we were in contact with him, but what's it to you? Why are you getting so upset?" Song Lin asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.
Tang Yue was startled, a slight blush creeping onto her cheeks. "W-who's getting upset! A-anyway, you should've told me if you had his contact information! Hurry up and send it to me!" she insisted, sounding unreasonable.
"I'll do that later. Let me eat in peace now," Song Lin replied, dismissing her daughter's tantrum.
"Argh! You're so frustrating!" Tang Yue exclaimed, stomping away from the dining table in a huff and puff.
Song Lin and the head maid watched her retreat, a mixture of amusement and concern in their eyes. "Haiz... Definitely in her rebellious phase," Song Lin remarked, shaking her head. The head maid nodded in agreement, a knowing smile on her face.
...
Within a week, everything was set. Ye Xinxia's belongings were neatly packed, and she was ready for the journey to Hangzhou.
Mo Fan paced the road outside the apartment complex, his face a mask of concern. "Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" he asked, his voice tinged with worry.
Ye Xinxia smiled reassuringly at her brother, her eyes filled with determination. "Nope, I will be fine, Brother Mo Fan! You take care of yourself!" she said, her tone firm yet loving.
Qin Yu'er stepped forward, embracing Ye Xinxia warmly. "Xinxia, be careful out there, okay? Make many good friends. I know you will do great in the future," she said, her voice soft and encouraging.
"Thank you, Sister Yu'er!" Ye Xinxia hugged her back, the warmth of their bond evident. She then turned to the taxi waiting outside, waving at them through the window. "Bye-bye!" She called out, her voice cheerful yet emotional.
"Make sure to eat your meals on time!" Mo Fan said, He felt a lump in his throat as he watched her.
"What are you, my mom?" Ye Xinxia said, laughing to lighten the mood.
"Take care, Brother Mo Fan, Sister Yu'er. Come visit me if you have time!" Ye Xinxia added as the taxi began to drive away, heading to the airport.
As the taxi disappeared from view, a sense of emptiness settled over Mo Fan. Qin Yu'er noticed his sombre expression and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "You okay?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Mo Fan sighed, "Auntie Song Lin did say that she had prepared everything, and there will be someone to meet her at the airport..." he said, trying to reassure himself as much as Qin Yu'er.
"Xinxia is strong, Mo Fan. She'll be fine," Qin Yu'er said, giving him a reassuring smile.
He stood in silence for a moment, the weight of the situation sinking in. The apartment felt eerily quiet without Ye Xinxia's lively presence. Mo Fan finally took a deep breath and turned to Qin Yu'er. "Let's go inside. She'll be okay," he said, trying to sound optimistic.
As they re-entered the penthouse, the vibrant city of Shanghai seemed to lose a bit of its lustre. They both knew that this was a significant step for Ye Xinxia, one that would shape her future. But the absence of her cheerful spirit was keenly felt.
...
Mo Fan entered his room and sat on the bed, he felt a little lonely knowing he won't see Ye Xinxia on a regular basis.
"In this time line she's entering the Zhejiang University a year earlier than the last. Her Cultivation has also increased, in month she will break through to Intermediate Level smoothly as well." Mo Fan said.
He laid on the bed in comfort. "Plus I won't have to worry about Ye Xinxia getting attacked, since Salan is still protecting her as she promised. So, I have to focus on Qin Yu'er. Her white hair already stands out a lot, Plus her aura is getting stronger as the day passes."
Qin Yu'er's cultivation was always on the rise, with an unnatural speed! Things like 100years old or 500years Snow Lotuses and the highest grade Ice Fundamental Crystals were increasing her cultivation significantly but her Ice Element was also undergoing a Qualitative change!
After Achieving Super Level, Ice Core was already a Heaven Grade, but slowly it's rank increased from Inferior Heaven Core to Small Heaven Core within just two months from becoming a Super Mage.
If Mo Fan kept supplying her with ample resources, she might just become a Forbidden Mage within just 2 years. But the thing was, he didn't have an infinite supply of these valuable resources.
There might be an abundant supply of them in nature but he cannot just go and loot them all in current self, because each of them are surrounded by High Ranking Monsters. He won't even be enough to fill the gap between their teeth.

Mo Fan's phone vibrated! He took a look and noticed it was an unknown number. He thought for a while before picking it up.
"Hello?"
