"wait, what do you mean by welcome? I didn't agree to anything, hey!" Seed yelled at cassie, almost tugging on her trenchcoat like a mad man.
"Hahaha, yeah man, you don't really have a choice. You either join us or get locked up as a potential threat to the Society" Cassie replied while grabbing her phone out of her pockets because it had been ringing.

"Oh would you look at that, but you know what?" Cassie said, putting her phone back into her pocket and handing seed a company card. "Come to the location on that card by tomorrow and oh, seed? Don't be late! 10 a.m SHARP"
Cassie walked off, laughing hysterically, as she snapped her fingers and a glass breaking sound echoed, at this point seed was sure that the sound and the snapping of her finger was some way to deactivate the so called 'Confinement field' that she had mentioned earlier that day because after she snapped her fingers and the sound echoed, all the sound of the forest came back.
"What the—you know what? Why even fight it at this point" seed mumbled to himself as he scratched his head, his eyes darted to the pile of ash that the man earlier, Pedro, had picked up the glowing orb from.
It was definitely the remains of another creature that Cassie had probably obliterated with her lightining spell. And just like before, seed felt an attraction from it.
So he walked up to the pile of ash, squatted down and reached for it—

Seed muttered to himself, staring at the glowing red screen floating from his skull tattoo. "This Death Field thing... it sounds a hell of a lot like that confinement field Cassie has been using. Isolating me from the world? Yeah, gotta try this out." He glanced around the park, the trees rustling softly in the evening breeze, distant car horns and people chatting fading into the background.
he wasn't sure if this was smart, but after everything he had experienced so far, his sense of danger was starting to fade off. Closing his eyes, he focused on that cold warm feeling inside of him, the death energy moving like a chill running up his spine. "Alright, let's see... Death Field...activate?" he whispered.
The air around him shifted, like someone flipped a switch. One second, the crickets chirped and owls hooted from the branches; the next, total silence took over.
No wind, no rustling leaves, no far-off laughter from folks walking by, no sound of traffic from the street. It was just him, standing in the middle of the park, the trees leaves of the trees frozen in place.
Seed blinked, his breath sounding loud in his own ears. "Whoa, okay, this is weird. But fun, Like being in a bubble or something." He waved his hand, thinking he'd hit an invisible wall, but no, it was all open, just cut off from everything else.
Feeling a bit braver, Seed wanted to try out how heightened his perception and control over death energy had become inside the field, focusing on the death energy within him and letting it flow from his chest up to his scalp, where his ghost hair hung loose.
"Come on, let's make this work," he grumbled, picturing the strands moving like he had done before. But this time, in the field, it was easier—the energy responded quicker and sharper.
His hair twitched, then lifted, floating around his head. He smiled, pushing more energy into it, and the strands shot out, wrapping around a low branch like ropes. With a tug of his will, they yanked the branch of the tree and snapped it off!
SNAP!
"Ha! That's what I'm talking about," Seed said, laughing nervously. But as he pulled back, a wave of tiredness hit him, like he had ran a marathon , The field held steady, but he could feel the overuse of death energy was tiring him out quickly so he stopped the control over his hair, letting it fall down back to his shoulders and he deactivated the death Field, Going back to hearing all the noises in the park
"Fucking hell, what a ride"
