Chapter 13: First Encounter, a Slightly Transformed World.

"Greetings, Deputy Tower Master,"

Han Tianyi said, a hint of caution flashing in his eyes as he leaned forward slightly, observing the cold and beautiful woman who entered.

The two who entered were Leng Yaozhu and Na'er. Although Han Tianyi had never met Na'er, he knew Leng Yaozhu well.

She was the undisputed second-in-command of the Spirit Pagoda. The Phoenix Clan she led was second only to the Qiangu Clan in power within the Spirit Pagoda.

Leng Yaozhu herself was exceptionally powerful. Not only was she a rare Four-Character Battle Armor Master, she had also reached the Ultimate Douluo realm last year, a true fusion of beauty and strength.

"Master Han, you're here too." Leng Yaozhu, clad in a red robe, raised her red lips slightly, her gaze etched with a smile. After glancing at Han Tianyi, she paused at Muye and Jiang Xiu, her eyebrows raised slightly in a hint of surprise.

"Long time no see, Your Majesty."

"Long time no see, Your Majesty Tianfeng,"

Muye replied with a light cough and a nod.

Leng Yaozhu and he were not much different in age. Although both were now four-character battle armor masters, their cultivation differed greatly.

"Is the Deputy Tower Master also here to obtain souls for his descendants?"

Han Tianyi looked at Na'er beside Leng Yaozhu, somewhat puzzled. He and Leng Yaozhu usually stayed at the Spirit Transmission Tower headquarters, but he had never heard of her having any disciples or descendants.

But Na'er's gaze lingered on Jiang Xiu, a hint of inquiry in her beautiful eyes.

"The Purple Brilliant Sky-Slaying Dragon Martial Spirit, huh? Why does it have a subtle, uncanny aura..."

"Geniuses are truly numerous in this human world, but my Na'er's Silver Dragon Spear isn't insignificant either!"

Jiang Xiu also studied the two figures, one large and one small. He had seen Leng Yaozhu, clad in a red robe and still full of charm, in information from the outside world, but the first sight of this silver-haired woman sent the Purple Brilliant Sky-Slaying Dragon Martial Spirit stirring within him.

"This is my newly accepted disciple, Na'er. Na'er, come meet the seniors,"

Leng Yaozhu said with a smile, caressing Na'er's head lovingly.

She had investigated Na'er's background last night, and indeed, as she'd said, she had no parents or family. Yet, she had seemingly appeared out of nowhere in Shrek City.

Leng Yaozhu didn't delve into the details, instead using a feast to lure Na'er into becoming her disciple. After all, Na'er's martial spirit was the only one she'd ever seen, even stronger than that other person's.

Not accepting her as a disciple would have been unacceptable.

"Huh? Who? Na'er?!"

Jiang Xiu's gaze trembled slightly at the young woman before him, his thoughts racing.

"Has the Silver Dragon King already transformed early in this timeframe? Even if the Silver Dragon King had split into Gu Yue and Na'er, Na'er should have been Yun Ming's disciple, not Leng Yaozhu's?"

Over the past few years, Jiang Xiu had used various methods to further confirm the current timeframe. After all, with the rapid development of soul communication, a lot of information was readily available.

"Given that Tang Wulin and I are the same age, something seems to have gone wrong with the Silver Dragon King's transformation. Instead of amnesia, he's split into two. And the Na'er before me is probably more human."

Jiang Xiu quickly gathered his thoughts. After all, the Abyssal Tide could appear in Snow City, so he could accept the Silver Dragon King's early transformation. He just had to adjust his future plans slightly.

"Hello, my name is Na'er."

By this time, Na'er had already greeted Han Tianyi Muye. Stepping out her fair legs beneath her long white skirt, she walked directly to Jiang Xiu, extending her hand and speaking in a crisp voice.

"Hello, my name is Jiang Xiu,"

Jiang Xiu said with a smile, extending his hand and shaking it.

Regardless of how Na'er had entered the Spirit Pagoda, he couldn't act too conspicuous in front of these powerful beings.

"Alright, Na'er, come and help Master choose a suitable soul for you. Old Han, you should also quickly take out that Dark Night Raven so your junior can absorb it."

Leng Yaozhu waved her hand, and a screen of light appeared before her. She pointed at Han Tianyi, having already seen Han Tianyi hiding the Dark Night Raven.

"Hahaha, Deputy Tower Master is absolutely right."

Han Tianyi breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this, confirming that Leng Yaozhu wasn't looking for the Dark Night Raven.

Although he had already reserved the Dark Night Raven, it hadn't yet been integrated with Jiang Xiu, and hadn't left this small soul world. If Leng Yaozhu also took a fancy to it, he really didn't know what to do.

"Yes, Uncle Master, quickly take it out and let Xiaoxiu try it," Muye said with some anticipation.

"It's work time. Call me by my name."

Han Tianyi glared at Muye, then, no longer hiding anything, clenched his powerful palms into the air, and silvery ripples appeared before him. The previously disappeared Night Raven was now trapped in a cage constructed by spiritual power, struggling with a ferocious look.

"Xiao Xiu, once you've made up your mind, go for it bravely. Your master and your great-uncle are here."

Muye patted Jiang Xiu's shoulder, his eyes encouraging.

"Okay!"

Jiang Xiu's purple eyes flickered with a faint tinge of blood as he stepped resolutely towards the Night Raven.

"Gah!"

Seeing someone approach, the Night Raven struggled even more fiercely, its body surging with dark soul power. Its sharp claws repeatedly struck the cage, but it failed to damage it in the slightest.

Jiang Xiu raised his left hand, and a tall, dark figure emerged from behind him, its bloodshot eyes fixed on the Night Raven before him.

"Ready, begin!"

Han Tianyi's voice fell, followed by an incomprehensible incantation. A hexagram array enveloped Jiang Xiu and the Dark Night Raven. This was the Soul Transmission Ritual.

Ordinary spirit beasts could directly form a soul contract with a spirit master, having been trained by the Spirit Transmission Tower.

However, the Unyielding Spirits were slightly different. They possessed an indomitable will and would never contract with a human spirit master. Therefore, they required the assistance of the Soul Transmission Ritual, establishing a platform for the contract.

More importantly, however, lay the soul master's ability to withstand the impact of the Unyielding Spirit.

"Buzz!"

A humming sound echoed, and the Dark Night Raven seemed to sense something. Its blood-red eyes gleamed fiercely, and a layer of darkness coated its sharp beak and claws.

At that moment, the mental cage that imprisoned it vanished, and the mysterious golden runes within the hexagram array surged towards Jiang Xiu and its body, drawing Jiang Xiu closer.

Outside the hexagram formation, the four people had different expressions, but they were all closely watching what was happening inside. Muye was even more ready to take action at any moment.

"Cry!"

A piercing scream rang out. The Dark Night Raven didn't resist the pull of the golden light, but rushed straight towards Jiang Xiu. Its claws, sharp enough to pierce the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear, attacked Jiang Xiu's head.

"Shadow King, go!"

Jiang Xiu's face was calm, and his eyes had turned bloodshot at this moment, emitting a chilling coldness. As Jiang Xiu shouted, the Shadow King behind him flashed in an instant, and his huge palm slammed down towards the Dark Night Raven.
