Chapter 108 - Chapter 107: Kneel, or... Death!

"No need, we on Oa can solve this problem ourselves."

"We still have many Green Lanterns."

"Our energy is inexhaustible; even if Sinestro truly comes, he cannot break through Oa's shield."

Ganthet heard Dane's "good intentions" and immediately gave three consecutive rejections.

Dane didn't mind, believing that there would be an opportunity to offer his "good intentions" later.

When that time comes, the Little Blue People surely can't just sit by and watch Oa be destroyed and the Green Lantern Corps annihilated, right?

At that point, it would be his turn to make demands.

"Alright, it seems you are very wary of me, so I won't force it."

"However, you wouldn't mind if I stayed here for a while, would you?"

The Little Blue People really wanted to say they minded, but the Green Lantern ring was in his hand, though they didn't know why he wasn't wearing it.

But what if they refused and he put on the ring?

At that point, he might not just take over and become the master of the Green Lantern Corps.

They had introduced Green Lantern recruits with high racial potential before, but never one as high as an Old Gods.

However... Ganthet thought to himself: I wonder if Mogo can defeat this Old Gods.

Sometimes life is like a chance encounter. Even Dane didn't expect that Sinestro would arrive shortly after he came to Oa and had just agreed with the Little Blue People to stay for a few days.

Just as Ganthet and the others were reluctantly about to agree, Dane suddenly raised an eyebrow and looked up at the sky.

A few seconds later, the Guardians also changed their expressions and looked up.

Energy, an extremely strong energy, appeared above Oa.

And this energy was not unfamiliar to the Guardians; it was the energy of fear!

First to appear was a Sun, a complete celestial body, though much smaller than a real Sun.

But none of that was most important. What was important was that the Sun was pure yellow and emitted an unsettling glow.

The alarm on Oa immediately sounded.

But all the Green Lanterns stared blankly at the "Sun," a strange feeling rising in their hearts.

And that "Sun" slowly descended, as if about to fall into Oa.

Kilowog suddenly roared, "All Green Lanterns, attention! Engage the enemy!"

Everyone woke up as if from a dream, and streaks of green light illuminated the sky as countless Green Lanterns rushed upwards.

A Green Lantern fired a green laser at the "Sun," but the beam was instantly swallowed.

Two seconds later, the "Sun" seemed to reciprocate, firing yellow beams downwards.

And they were dense, firing in all directions, falling like raindrops.

The Green Lanterns struggled, but many were still hit by the yellow light, and the effect was immediate.

The hit Green Lanterns fell directly, smashing countless buildings.

The Yellow Impurity!

The existence of this flaw greatly diminished the Green Lanterns' combat power in the face of yellow light, and all their efforts against the yellow Sun were futile.

"Green Lanterns, concentrate your power, together!"

Kilowog roared at everyone, then shouted to Tomar-Re:

"What's going on? Why do I feel like a few people are missing? Where's Boudicca?"

Toma struggled to concentrate his will. He found that ever since Dane had taught him a lesson, using the power of the green lantern was no longer as effortless as before.

In his heart, he knew this was because his willpower had weakened, and the fear of that man was deeply planted in his mind.

Facing his friend's question, Toma loudly replied, "I don't know, I haven't seen her since just now!"

"At this precise moment!" Kilowog cursed under his breath and continued to lead the Green Lanterns to confront this strange "Sun."

Nearly two thousand Green Lanterns united, using Green Lantern energy to construct a giant shield, blocking the "Sun."

The yellow Sun directly crashed into the shield, creating cracks with just one Impact, which sent chills down the spines of all Green Lanterns.

It was still Kilowog: "Hold on!"

However, they couldn't hold on. This Sun not only had the volume of a celestial body but also its mass.

The gravitational field distortion caused by its immense mass had a greater Impact on the Green Lanterns the closer they were.

Cracking sounds were incessant, and after only a few tens of seconds, the yellow Sun broke through the shield and plummeted to the ground.

"Everyone, prepare for Impact!"

Kilowog only managed to utter these words before a huge explosion echoed across Oa. The yellow Sun plunged into the Earth, destroying all creations in its path!

The massive Impact pushed the air, practically solidifying it, like an iron wall sweeping across the land.

In that instant, nearly a hundred Green Lanterns and countless recruits died.

Nearly a thousand lantern rings flew up, scattering in the sky.

But they couldn't find successors; in the place where the yellow Sun fell, all living things were erased as if drawn on paper and wiped clean by an eraser. There were no survivors.

The Green Lanterns who luckily flew into the sky survived. They frantically took the lantern rings of their fallen comrades, momentarily at a loss.

At the same time, a strange fear arose spontaneously.

As Green Lanterns, they were supposed to be the bravest, but that didn't mean they could completely overcome their inner fear.

But they would soon discover that this was just the appetizer.

Not long after the massive explosion, a yellow vortex lit up again near Oa's low Earth orbit, and a yellow wormhole suddenly appeared.

Sinestro flew out of it, and closely following him was Boudicca, wearing a yellow battlesuit!

"The plan succeeded!"

Boudicca looked at the ravaged Oa, her heart filled with uncontrollable excitement.

But Sinestro sneered:

"Those rookies may have suffered heavy casualties, but our dear Guardians are another matter."

As he said, before the yellow Sun fell on Oa.

The energy in the Central Council Chamber suddenly surged, and most of the massive green lantern energy extracted from the lantern battery was used to protect this place.

So the Guardians, Dane, Hal, and others who remained here were unharmed.

Dane looked at these Little Blue People strangely; these dwarfs were truly ruthless.

If this energy had been used to reinforce the Planet's energy shield, it could have saved at least a few Green Lanterns or some recruits. Now, those outside are probably all annihilated.

Sure enough, Sinestro either doesn't make a move, or when he does, it's a big one.

It's just a pity... Dane sighed regretfully, he couldn't collect alien souls!

It seems the Aztec God of Death's authority still has some limitations. He wondered if the Hell branch Trigon opened in Los Angeles could be replicated on other Planets.

It should be possible, as Trigon, the Demon Lord, often wreaks havoc on the lives of other Planets.

Since Trigon could, then he should be able to too.

At this moment, Ganthet immediately realized that someone within the Green Lanterns had conspired with the enemy!

Because if not, the enemy's attack could not have entered Oa so quickly; this Planet has an extremely strong outer shield.

But he clearly felt that Oa was completely undefended against the enemy's attack.

This discovery saddened him. Had a Green Lantern ultimately chosen to break their oath?

He opened the shield of the Central Council Chamber, and outside, as they expected, it had become a complete ruin.

Only steam condensed into a thick fog, making everything in front of them appear to be shrouded in mist.

Dense yellow Emotional Spectrum energy moved in the air, as if alive.

A Guardian recognized this energy, "It's the power of yellow light!"

And Hal, who walked out at the same time, seemed to sense something. He looked up and saw a yellow legion descending.

"It's Sinestro."

Everyone looked up upon hearing this. Sinestro had returned with his legion.

"Oa, my brothers, my kin, I have returned!"

"Sinestro!"

In the ruins, Kilowog roared with grief and indignation.

His body transformed into a concentrated green light, soaring into the sky, heading straight for Sinestro.

"Ah~ it's you, my old friend Kilowog."

Kilowog was even more enraged upon hearing this: "Shut up! You shameless, hateful traitor!"

Sinestro's smile disappeared. He remained still in that position, allowing Kilowog's fist to hit his face.

The air, along with a huge sonic boom, rang on his face, deforming his cheek, but his body remained motionless.

"I understand your anger, Kilowog, but your anger is insignificant in my eyes."

With that, Sinestro also threw a punch, a punch far more powerful than Kilowog's.

He struck him into the ruins of Oa.

Sinestro spread his arms in full view of all the Green Lanterns:

"I am Sinestro, kneel, or..."

"Death Zero!"
