Chapter 25 - Chapter 25

In the misty drizzle, Sugisawa Yuuto and Vivi shared a kiss.

It was the kind of scene one would expect from a romantic drama—intense, surreal, and unforgettable.

At first, Vivi resisted. For her, Yuuto's sudden kiss was overwhelming. This was her first real kiss. Back at Whiskey Peak, even just kissing Yuuto on the cheek had drained all of her courage.

But now, it was different—this was a kiss on the lips.

Her heart pounded violently, shame and shock making her struggle against him. But then… she noticed the clouds.

From the moment their lips met, the skies above began to shift. Rain clouds spread, expanding wider and wider until they loomed over all of Alabasta.

Vivi froze, realization dawning upon her.

This rain was not ordinary—it was salvation.

It was the answer to her kingdom's suffering, the hope that would rescue her people from endless drought.

If her small sacrifice could save countless lives, then what did it matter?

Her resistance faded. She let herself melt into Yuuto's arms, no longer fighting him. Slowly, she even returned the kiss.

For five whole minutes, the impossible spectacle of rain and romance unfolded before their comrades' stunned eyes.

Finally, the kiss ended. Vivi trembled, breathless, her body weak against Yuuto's chest.

"Looks like it worked," Yuuto said seriously.

"Hmph. Vivi, don't play around with this scoundrel any longer," Nami huffed, giving Yuuto a sharp glare before helping Vivi back toward the cabin.

"Still… President, this went too far," Erza said sternly, her expression unwavering.

"Isn't this all for the mission?" Yuuto grinned shamelessly.

"As guildmaster, you actually made one of your comrades cry," Mirajane snapped, hands planted on her hips. "You'd better take responsibility, Yuuto. If you don't find a way to cheer Juvia up, then you don't deserve to remain president!"

Yuuto scratched his head awkwardly. He walked over to where Juvia sat, her face pale, her spirit broken.

"I'm sorry, Juvia. It's my fault this time," he said sincerely.

But his words couldn't reach her. Juvia was lost in her own world, drowning in heartbreak, unable to hear anyone else.

"Come on, let's get you inside before you catch a cold," Yuuto murmured, lifting her gently and carrying her to her room.

"I'll grab a towel—"

"Don't go, President!"

Yuuto stopped. Her arms tightened desperately around his waist, her voice shaking with sobs.

"Don't leave me…"

Yuuto turned, his hand brushing through her damp blue hair. His embrace tightened around her trembling form.

"The president's arms… are so warm," Juvia whispered.

The Next Morning

After nearly a full day away, Yuuto finally reappeared in front of the guild. The girls stared at him with complicated, curious expressions.

Ignoring their gazes, Yuuto sat quietly in a corner, his face contemplative.

Women really are made of water, he thought. Especially Juvia.

"Honestly, President… you need to be more considerate. Juvia is a young woman. You can't just treat her like that…" Mirajane sighed as she set down a cup of coffee before him. "Last time it was the same…"

Yuuto gave her a crooked smile, choosing not to argue. Deep down, he didn't think it was his fault—Juvia was the one who kept refusing to let go.

"President, do you have any plans for today?" Nami asked, stepping forward.

"No, nothing in particular. Why?" Yuuto replied.

"If that's the case, we should head for Yuba. The rebel army's headquarters is there now. Vivi wants to take advantage of the momentum from yesterday's rain to persuade them," Nami explained.

"Alright," Yuuto nodded.

But one thing puzzled him.

Why was Nami the one saying this? Shouldn't Vivi be the one speaking up about her own plans?

His eyes drifted toward Vivi.

The moment their gazes met, her face flushed crimson. She quickly turned away, her composure shattering. Memories of yesterday's kiss burned in her mind, leaving her utterly at a loss for how to face him now.

Yuuto didn't dwell on it. With a flick of his hand, the Fairy Tail ship began to move, docking ashore.

Nami and Vivi, who had already prepared their bags, leapt down onto the sand. They turned back—only to see Yuuto still standing aboard the ship.

"President, aren't we going together?" Nami asked, confused.

"I never said I wasn't," Yuuto replied with a sly smile.

His magic flared. Gravity bent to his will.

The ship trembled, then slowly rose, breaking free from the waves. Under Nami and Vivi's astonished gazes, the massive vessel lifted into the sky.

"Up we go," Yuuto said calmly, guiding the ship higher and higher toward Yuba.

On the shore, both girls stood frozen in disbelief.

A ship… flying through the sky?

They had never even imagined such a thing could exist.

This was Fairy Tail.

This was their guildmaster.

Unbelievable.

Moments later, Nami snapped back to her senses.

"Wait—WAIT! I didn't board yet! I'm not on the ship!" she screamed, waving her arms frantically.

But the flying guild had already soared far into the desert skies.
