Nathaniel looked up, seeing that the sky was covered in dark clouds, blocking the sun. He felt the cold wind hit his body, causing him to shiver. He then looked down to see that he was still a long way from the bottom of the mountain.
"Who the fuck builds a fort this high up a mountain.....?" He muttered, "Right, people who would not want to be easily reached...I have to get out of here."
He noticed that the System had not disappeared after choosing the Modern Warfare Aspect of his War Necromancy. He looked at it and saw that it still had a message on the page.

Nathaniel narrowed his eyes, "What?"
The System then switched pages:
[Necrotic Pull: Skeleton (2 Points)]
- Combination of Necrotic Pull and Summon Skeleton.
- Purifies the nearest corpses, pulling parts of them, and combines them to create a strong Skeleton, clad in armor and wielding a weapon.
- Skeleton lasts around 5 minutes or until it is completely destroyed.
- Choosing this Spell replaces the Summon Skeleton Spell.
- Cost: 80 MP

[Corpse Weapon (1 Point)]
- Rips apart a Corpse to form a makeshift weapon. The weapon is imbued with Necrotic Power, dealing significant damage to the enemy.
- Depending on the weapon formed, there is limited usage of it. If a ranged weapon, it will only have 5 uses. If it is a melee weapon, it lasts around 2 minutes.
- Cost: 50 MP

[Skull Bombs (1 Points)]
- Activating this spell will pull the skull of a corpse nearby, imbuing it with Necrotic Power, turning it into an explosive device.
- The User can fire them as seeking missiles, chasing an enemy until it detonates. Or they can launch them manually.
- Cost: 45 MP
Nathaniel was blinking, "What.....?" He said, "These spells are what I have to choose from? I only have 2 points....."
He heard sounds in the distance, looking up to see torches up high. The other men were starting their search for him. Soon, they will discover that he had killed the first six men who were chasing him.
"Tch....!" He said as he looked back down, trying to find a quick and safe path downhill
All of the terrain before him looked equally rough.
He looked at the System, trying to think of a choice. He had to make it quick or else he wouldn't get to choose until he was in safety. He didn't know the exact conditions the System appeared, but it seemed to do so when things were calm and quiet.
"What are the passives?" He said aloud, anxiety filling his body
The Screen shifted and showed him the Passives page:
[Accelerated Magic Regeneration (1 Point)]
- Regenerates Magic Power quicker.
- Can be upgraded up until 5 times, unlocking another Tier of Magic Power Regeneration.

- When accompanied by a Skeleton or any Undead Summon, the User gains improved agility and speed.
- Can be upgraded three times.
Nathaniel looked up to see that the torch lights were closer, the figures of more men running down the hillside, around 100 meters or more from him.
"I had 100 MP, right?" He said aloud, "And my regular Skeleton costs 50? Dammit....."
He clicked on the Accelerated Magic Regeneration Passive, spending 1 point and quickly swiped to the previous page.
Without another moment's thought, he clicked on the Corpse Weapon Skill, spending the other point. The moment he did so, his body emitted a blue and green aura that quickly flickered away.
"I already have a skeleton summon....." He said as he looked back up, "If I can summon one as long as I have the magic power, I don't mind...and the weapon spell will arm me with something. Along with faster magic regeneration, I should be fine for now.....I don't know how long until I get another point....."
He then looked back down, contemplating his next choice.
"YOU BASTARD!!!!" a voice bellowed
Nathaniel looked up to see Borug barreling downhill, holding a large club in his hand. His green eyes were glaring at him as he was followed by four more men, Hub being one of them.
"You dare mess with us?!" Hub exclaimed
"Tch...." Nathaniel said as he stepped back, "No point in trying to run away. I'm already armed....."
The System had already disappeared, leaving Nathaniel alone with his enemies.
He looked at the corpses that he had caused, and he rolled towards one, focusing his thoughts on activating the spell.
"Corpse Weapon"
The corpse twitched and suddenly burst apart, its blood and guts fusing with the broken bones as it formed a strange-looking pistol that floated up towards Nathaniel's hand. It seemed to be made completely out of bone, taking the form of a skeletal revolver with a long barrel, blood pouring out of the chamber, and emitting steam.
In the corner of Nathaniel's line of sight, he saw a blue bar appear, which was halfway empty. It showed him he had spent 50 of his 100 MP. He had already anticipated this.
"5 shots...." Nathaniel thought to himself as the men reached him
He jumped away as a tall and thin man lunged at him, swinging down his iron sword at him, hitting the ground.
Nathaniel aimed the gun at him, "Let's see how this works."
He pulled the trigger, feeling the powerful recoil nearly sending him reeling back. The projectile shot from his gun struck the man, instantly blowing apart the top of his head, pieces of his brain and skull flying everywhere.
Borug widened his eyes, "What the hell?!"
Hub and the other two froze in complete shock, "No way...." he said
Nathaniel aimed the gun at Borug, pulling the trigger and firing another projectile at him. Borug was able to dodge, and the projectile struck the ground, causing a shockwave.
"Shit." Nathaniel said as he turned around and began to run
"Summon Skeleton"
As he ran, another Skeleton sprouted from the ground, jumping up almost immediately and letting out a loud clattering sound from its mouth.
"Hold them off!" Nathaniel shouted as he ran down
The Skeleton was holding a rusty knife and lunged at Borug, swiping it at him. Borug dodged again and swung his large club with ferocity.
"Fuck off!!" He bellowed
The Skeleton ducked down to avoid the blow, stabbing the Orc's leg.
"Arghhh!!" He shouted in pain
Hub rushed the Skeleton and hit him with his iron mace, shattering its ribcage. As the Skeleton stumbled, Borug swung the club down, crushing it completely. Bones flew everywhere as the clattering stopped, leaving the four alone with the corpses of their compatriots.
Nathaniel was already running downhill, having escaped their reach.
"Shit!" Hub exclaimed, "A Necromancer?! You've got to be kidding me! And he already killed a lot of our guys!"
"The Boss is going to hang us for this." Borug growled, "This is unacceptable."
"Let's get him!!!"
