Chapter 15 - Hello, Tony

Inside the cafe.

Alan Folker elegantly picked up the ceramic cup and savored a sip of the mellow coffee. Although Aizen's information didn't seem to mention coffee, it didn't mean he disliked drinking it.

Now, his every word and gesture were like Aizen's; his coffee-drinking movements and expression carried a hint of scholarly refinement, especially those eyes, making him look like a well-mannered gentleman.

At the same time, Aizen's own attractiveness was very high; his handsome appearance made him seem exceptionally pure and untainted.

Coulson's expression was grim. He was very dissatisfied with all of Alan Folker's answers, always feeling that the other party was toying with him. Every time Alan Folker spoke halfway, he would suddenly stop and then switch to another topic.

The strangest thing was why Alan Folker called Fury 'Bald Egg', and how he knew about S.H.I.E.L.D. and Fury.

As top-secret information, ordinary citizens had no way of accessing it, yet the other party seemed to know a lot about S.H.I.E.L.D. but also acted indifferent.

From their recent conversation, Alan Folker was someone who strongly disliked trouble, and he hoped S.H.I.E.L.D. would investigate quickly to ensure his personal safety.

Indeed, Coulson had anticipated this. Another purpose of having Daisy monitor Alan Folker was to protect him; those Karola would not spare any human.

Coulson didn't leave today's conversation without gaining some information.

For example, some of the information points Alan Folker mentioned: since it had been confirmed to be an alien creature, but they couldn't find them, could they have already integrated among humans?

This information was very important and might be their breakthrough for the next investigation. Coulson even had a bold idea: information that couldn't be found openly could definitely be bought as first-hand news at underground trade shows.

Secondly, he gained a deeper understanding of Alan Folker. He was not only knowledgeable and talented but also seemed to possess some information. He was indeed a very formidable Asian man.

Coulson had never admired anyone, but Alan Folker was someone he felt worthy of admiration. In just over an hour of conversation, his tone seemed unserious, but every point he made was spot-on.

"Mr. Alan Folker, besides some questions I wanted to ask you today, there's also someone who particularly wants to meet you," Coulson said with a smile.

Alan Folker paused in his coffee-drinking, but quickly took a sip and said with great interest, "Bald Egg?"

Fury wanting to see him now didn't fit his character at all; there was no reason for him to meet a minor character like himself.

"Of course not, it's Mr. Tony Stark!" Coulson replied with a slight smile.

Alan Folker, hearing the name Coulson said, was full of questions. Tony Stark didn't seem to know him, and he was a busy man. Why would he want to see him?

Just then, a middle-aged man wearing sunglasses and drinking coffee on one side raised his coffee cup and gestured to Alan Folker.

Tony Stark showed a smile and greeted, "Hello, Mr. Alan Folker!"

"Tony Stark?" Alan Folker sized up the middle-aged man in front of him. His opulent appearance, a cool face with a hint of a smile, and his overall robust look truly exuded the essence of Iron Man.

"Today is just a simple chat. Fury told me that you were a witness when the mysterious creature was killed?" Tony Stark asked from his seat, without walking over.

Alan Folker maintained a calm expression and a constant smile, responding, "Yes, but I have already answered that question. Besides that, I didn't see any other creatures."

Hearing this, Tony Stark was a bit shocked. If he was such a close witness, the other party should have died long ago, yet they left him and one survivor?

"This matter sounds very interesting," Tony Stark replied with a slight smile.

Alan Folker glanced at Tony Stark. He was full of vigor, and Fury could invite him to investigate, which clearly meant he had solved the toxin problem. Alan Folker replied, "It is indeed very interesting, and of course, I'm still a bit scared right now."

"Also, currently, I feel these creatures are very dangerous. Will they harm me?"

Alan Folker tried his best to show fear and helplessness in front of Tony Stark, while also making Coulson believe him more, as he gave the same explanation to everyone.

As for whether Alan Folker would be attacked or harmed, it was clearly not Tony Stark's job.

He took off his sunglasses, looked at Alan Folker, and replied, "S.H.I.E.L.D. will guarantee your safety, but if you don't give us other information, it will be difficult for us to investigate."

"Of course, if you tell me what you saw at the time, I can send people to protect you twenty-four hours a day," Tony Stark said, his gaze fixed on Alan Folker.

"Bodies falling rapidly from the sky, as if descending from the heavens to the ground. I've already answered this question," Alan Folker replied patiently.

"And that creature is called Karola, originally a creature flowing in the Universe, accidentally landed on this Planet," Alan Folker remembered Diana's words and couldn't help but remind them.

Coulson already had some clues about this. Hearing the information Alan Folker said, his expression immediately changed to shock, "Mr. Alan Folker, where did you learn that?"

"From a female coach, but she seemed to have been struck by lightning last night. She must have done too many bad deeds; even the heavens didn't spare her," Alan Folker replied calmly.

Tony Stark pondered for a few seconds and said, "Fury was right, this matter is very unusual."

Alan Folker answered every question truthfully and didn't make any excuses, always ensuring that all matters would not fall on him.

Tony Stark obtained some information, though little, it was several useful pieces of information more than before.

"Thank you very much for this conversation. I will investigate this matter as soon as possible."

Alan Folker smiled slightly and said, "Fury really has some skill, sending Iron Man to protect himself."

Tony Stark gave an awkward smile. He wasn't here to protect a teacher; he was just attending a meeting, and out of curiosity, he chatted a few words.

"I have classes at the Kendo Club this afternoon, so I'll leave now."

Coulson watched Alan Folker leave, then quickly exited the cafe and checked his phone for messages.

"A new location with energy fluctuations has been discovered!"

His brows furrowed, and he quickly returned to his car, then a car sped away from the side of the street.

Tony Stark watched Coulson and Alan Folker leave, revealing a meaningful expression. This matter was indeed tricky because there were absolutely no traceable clues.

Alan Folker walked leisurely on the street, watching S.H.I.E.L.D.'s car rush away, and said indifferently, "It looks like something new has been discovered again."

However, he didn't care about that now. It would be best to let S.H.I.E.L.D. deal with those Karola, with all the blame pointed at them.

That way, he could ignore it and steadily develop his strength with peace of mind.

After all, this World had S.H.I.E.L.D. and very powerful superheroes, so he really didn't need to always step forward.
