Chapter 14 - Energy Field

Fear! Terror!

Karola information coexists, and they can perceive each other.

At this moment, inside a private underground property building owned by Kingpin, in a dim room with dark walls, a series of murals glowed with deep red eyes.

This was where the Twelve Great Leaders of the Karola Clan slept, forced into hibernation due to their energy being depleted after drifting through the Universe.

Blood Queen slowly emerged from within the mural, standing in the very center, her gaze directed towards a distant direction, "New enemies have appeared again."

She was also one of the Twelve Great Leaders, and because she used magic, which didn't require energy, she was one of the first Grand Commanders to awaken.

Her powerful dark magic was fused with the Blood Queen, though it was a forced fusion, making her magic's power fluctuate.

However, this was not important, as her strength was the weakest among them, and this time, because the Karola Clan generated immense fear in this World, the other eleven Grand Commanders awakened one after another.

The moment the other eleven Grand Commanders awakened, a powerful surge of energy emanated from their entirely dark blue skin.

This powerful energy instantly released from underground, forming an area, like a magnetic field.

But because this area generated powerful energy, passersby who unknowingly walked through it were instantly swept away by this power, ultimately turning into fragments, leaving only a puddle of blood on the ground.

The energy field was invisible, with only suspended particles high up, making it generally difficult to detect.

In just one hour, several people walking along what seemed like ordinary roads turned into puddles of blood; they didn't know how they died, not even feeling any pain.

Fortunately, other passersby saw the situation, fearfully retreated, and promptly called the police.

In the distance, police sirens sounded, and a subtle change appeared in the invisible zone; any matter within the specific area began to float, and the floating objects were all torn apart.

This scene was identical to the giant crater formed by the previous meteor impact, except now there was no opening; this energy seemed to emanate from underground.

The surrounding area was cordoned off, blocking the intersection and prohibiting any passage.

Peter Parker followed the police car, thinking a crime had occurred, but the scene before him seemed even more terrifying than a crime; those puddles of blood clearly indicated several people had lost their lives.

He stood high above, looking down at the ground; the energy floated very high, more than ten meters, and even birds flying through this energy would turn to ash.

"What exactly is this? A special reaction caused by the meteor?" Peter Parker frowned, his expression serious, as he observed his surroundings.

He looked at everything before him, falling into contemplation; after a few seconds of thought, he decided to test it, immediately shooting out a web, wanting to see if this energy could completely pulverize the web.

But in the next second, Peter Parker showed a horrified expression; the web turned directly into ash the moment it touched the energy.

"Such strong energy, it even tore my web; isn't this the same as the special energy emitted by the previous meteor?" Peter Parker frowned slightly, meaning this was the second energy field formed after the meteor, so would there be a third? A fourth? Or even more energy fields created?

Peter Parker's expression became serious about this; if this were true, he had to find the truth before the next energy reaction appeared.

He stared at the pulverized spot, hesitated for a while, and then shot out several webs, leaving the scene.

Meanwhile, in the abandoned factory.

Hela looked down from above, but did not continue the slaughter; the Karola in human form knelt on the ground before her, showing their fear and submission.

Originally, the Karola were a proud and arrogant species, but after fusing with humans, they learned some human habits; facing enemies stronger than themselves, abandoning resistance was also a chance for survival.

"You have offended someone you shouldn't have offended; since that is the case, then all of you shall disappear." Hela had no intention of leaving anyone alive from the start.

These creatures remaining in this World were nothing but a scourge; since they had the idea of killing Alan Folker, there was no need to grant them life.

"All of you, die!"

On the ground, the Karola knelt, all submitting, hoping to receive Hela's mercy or leniency, unaware that as Goddess of Death Hela, she was always decisive in killing, and leaving survivors was impossible.

Under a powerful surge of energy, the surrounding abandoned factory, whether you were of the Karola Clan or an ordinary human, as long as you remained there, you would all turn to ash, with not even a corpse visible.

Hela looked at everything that had disappeared before her, her heart seemingly much lighter; as long as Alan Folker was not in danger, killing more people was fine.

She smiled contentedly, slowly landed on the ground, and walked towards the distant city.

Not long after Hela left, Blood Queen appeared outside the factory.

A bloody smell permeated the surroundings, and there was no one in her line of sight; their first Base, those power users created over a month, were all destroyed.

"Who exactly is that woman?" Blood Queen's expression was furious, she roared, her angry voice carrying a powerful energy that instantly turned the factory building into dust.

Diana appeared from the side, knelt before Blood Queen, and replied, "She said we offended someone we shouldn't have offended; I suspect it might be Grim Reaper Aizen."

"This grudge, our Karola Clan will definitely avenge," Blood Queen said, filled with killing intent and anger.

Diana respectfully asked, "Now we can only start over; we didn't expect our Base to be discovered, it's clear someone betrayed us."

"Only Kingpin's people know about this place; are you saying there's a traitor among his ranks?" Blood Queen asked, puzzled at her words.

She finished speaking and thought for a few seconds.

"Diana, go back and tell Kingpin that our Karola need more power users; if he agrees, let alone Daredevil, we will even help him deal with S.H.I.E.L.D."

Diana nodded, stood up from the ground, and disappeared from the spot as a blur.

On Blood Queen's distorted face, that hint of anger lingered, unable to be appeased; this not only hindered their plan but also slaughtered so many of their kind, no matter who it was, they would have to pay with their lives.
