Shinsu stood up, watching motionlessly as Raikou gasped in despair — eyes trembling, yet burning with rage.
"How entertaining," Shinsu said, a grin forming as he stepped closer, his gaze locked on Raikou.
Raikou eyes slowly glances to his fist. They burn with mana, which even make Raikou gulps in this new power.
"This new power is almost frightening. Not even Kai or Dad has felt this. But whatever this surge is..".
His fist clench. "I'll use it to kill this guy".
His eyes flared brighter. Veins pressed against his skin as blood dripped from his palms, and a fierce wave of mana burst from his body, shaking the air around him.
Shinsu grin turns wider, his eyes glued to the vortex of mana forming around Raikou. "Such control. Maybe he is stronger than Kai" Shinsu thinks, stepping forward slowly — each movement heavier than the last, as if the ground itself bowed to his presence.
Until he stopped. Mere inches away. Face to face. Eye to eye. "Those eyes gave some good memories of blood."
Shinsu jumps back, his finger resting on his chin. "Truly amazing. It warms my soul child" he said softly, the grin returning. "But a few attacks would make it even better. So go on — hit me."
Raikou glared, his breath steadying. "You must be insane," he growled. "But fine. I'll hit you."
He lunged forward, his fist glowing crimson as it met Shinsu's misty hand. The collision roared through the air — shockwaves tore across the ground, dust swirling violently around them.
But when the haze cleared, Shinsu was gone.
Raikou's eyes darted through the smoke. "Where are you?!" he shouted, spinning around, his pulse racing.
"Just look at the particles, boy," a voice mutters — from every direction at once. The echoes make Raikou stumble.
"Particles?" he says in shock, eyes darting. Then they shoot upward to a strange form of mana falling from the air, taking the shape of shimmering dust.
"So what does this prove?" Raikou growls, vanishing behind Shinsu. Shinsu gasps as he spins around — but before he can react— poof.
