At this moment—
facing Chen Yang's confused look—
Guan Nailiang felt a surge of irritation.
He was one of the very few S-rank Job Changer from today's Job Changer Ceremony—
a Firecloud Mage!
He had assumed that by now every student in school would know his name.
But this Chen Yang actually said…
He didn't know who he was?
Unacceptable!
"Kid, this is Guan Nailiang, an S-rank Firecloud Mage! From now on, whenever you see him, you'd better call him 'big brother,' got it?"
One of his lackeys spoke up.
That made Guan Nailiang feel good.
Having underlings say it for him really hit the spot.
If he'd said it himself, it would've just sounded childish.
But who could've guessed—
"Call you big brother whenever we meet?"
Chen Yang waved his hand dismissively.
"That's far too polite. No need to be so courteous."
???
The whole group froze.
Did this guy not realize he was on the verge of disaster?
And yet he still dared to get the last word in?
"If you can't speak properly, then don't speak at all."
Guan Nailiang shot him a frosty glare.
"Since you are Chen Yang, that makes things easy."
"Today you turned down my goddess. You made her unhappy."
"As her number-one fan, I have to teach you a lesson—make her smile again!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, the three Job Changers behind him spread out, surrounding Chen Yang with hostile expressions.
"That makes sense."
Chen Yang didn't even look bothered.
He was still scrolling through his God-tier Aura list, asking absently:
"So how exactly are you planning to do that?"
?
Guan Nailiang hadn't expected Chen Yang to stay this calm.
But he didn't dwell on it.
He sneered, "Naturally, we're going to beat you up. Make sure you learn your place."
In truth, he had another idea in mind.
Su Qimeng treated Chen Yang very warmly—
but treated him, Guan Nailiang, with cold indifference.
That infuriated him.
All because this Chen Yang had a prettier face?
He figured—
if he beat Chen Yang up, maybe even messed up his face…
Would Su Qimeng still like him then?
At that moment—
a number of Job Changer hawking gear nearby had noticed the confrontation.
But none of them stepped in.
After all, anyone daring to cause trouble in public like this clearly had backing.
Who wanted to invite trouble onto themselves?
"What a pity… such a good-looking kid, and now he's about to get beaten."
Many onlookers thought Chen Yang was finished.
But just as everyone assumed misfortune was about to strike—
Suddenly!
Chen Yang selected a God-tier Aura from his list and activated it on the spot!
[Bald as Destiny (God-tier Aura): Upon activation, all targets you designate as hostile will lose all body hair—and it will never grow back!]
Chen Yang had always felt helpless seeing this halo in his list.
But right now?
It was the perfect fit.
So—
One by one, Guan Nailiang and his three lackeys were all flagged as "hostile."
The next second—
Before they could even make a move, they felt something was wrong.
"Eh? Wait—why is hair falling from the sky?"
"Falling my ass, that's your own hair coming out, hahahaha! Stop casting already!"
"What the—? You're laughing at me? Your hair's falling out too!"
"???"
"MY HAIR!!!"
…
Finally, all four realized how serious this was.
Their faces filled with panic.
They reached up to feel their scalps—
only to come away with handfuls of hair, ripped out at the roots!
In an instant, hair was flying everywhere, filling the air in a bizarre flurry.
And then—
Chen Yang gave them an extra "helping hand" by activating an environmental halo: Power of Wind (God-tier Aura).
As the name implied, it allowed him to alter the local environment with controllable gusts of wind.
And so—
a sudden gale swept over Guan Nailiang and his men, scooping up the falling hair and whisking it higher, farther…
"My hair! My hair!!"
The four young men clutched their heads, tears in their eyes, watching helplessly as their locks scattered into the distance.
But the wind was too strong.
They couldn't stop it.
One by one…
gleaming bald heads were revealed to the crowd.
At that point—
Guan Nailiang's mind completely collapsed.
The four of them stood there, their faces twisted in fury—
but their shiny scalps only made the scene look ridiculous.
"Chen Yang!"
"What did you do to us?!"
"How dare you humiliate us like this—you've got a death wish!"
Faced with their angry shouts—
Chen Yang only spread his hands, feigning helplessness.
"I don't know anything… You went bald on your own. What's that got to do with me?"
He looked positively innocent.
But even as he spoke, he quietly activated yet another God-tier Aura.
If baldness still left them some shred of dignity—
this next halo…
was about to cross the line of basic humanity!
