"What are we still doing here, Nolan?" William asked, waving his hand to the server to order another round of drinks. "I thought you would rush home to your wife as soon as the meeting is over."
Truthfully, there was nothing Nolan liked more than to hurry home, back into his wife's warm arms. But his reality couldn't be farther from the truth.
Knowing his wife, Emily would not be waiting for him with open arms. On the contrary, she might not want to see him at all once she had realized what had happened that night.
"Not that I'm complaining." William quickly added. "It had been a while since we came out for a wild night." Then, he winked at the half-naked woman who was pole dancing on the small stage before them.
