Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

The personal office system at Brightern has adopted automatic lock technology.

To open the door from outside, the office owner and their secretary (the person who has been granted access) simply place one palm on the scanner area of the door, and it will automatically unlock.

Meanwhile, to open the door from the inside, the system detects motion, so the door will automatically open when someone approaches.

It is different when there is a visitor. In that case, the door can be opened from inside the room by clicking the "Open The Door" button on the desk or the "Open" button on the remote control.

This is because most personal offices at Brightern are quite spacious, making it inconvenient to open the door manually.

Using a remote-control system to open the door is, of course, much more convenient.

---

While Sheryyn was busy working, the sound of the entrance bell was heard.

Ding... Ding... Ding...

Sheryyn immediately clicked the "Open The Door" button on her desk, and the door automatically opened.

It was Jesie, waving her hand and saying, "Good afternoon, VGM Sher!"

"Yes, good afternoon to you too, Miss Jesie. Please come in," replied Sheryyn.

('Miss' is a common term used in the office to address younger subordinates politely.)

---

Jesie entered and invited Sheryyn to have lunch together.

"VGM Sher, have you had lunch yet?" asked Jesie.

"Not yet," replied Sheryyn while glancing at the clock. "Oh, it's already twelve... time really flies."

"Exactly, that's why you should come eat with me, Dahye, and Mrs. Linda!" said Jesie enthusiastically.

"Alright then," said Sheryyn as she stood up from her chair.

---

When Sheryyn and Jesie stepped out of the room, Dahye and Linda were already waiting outside.

Linda and Dahye greeted Sheryyn warmly.

"Good afternoon, VGM Sher!"

"Good afternoon to you too. Let's go have lunch," said Sheryyn gently.

The four of them then had lunch together in the company cafeteria.

The Brightern cafeteria was very spacious and clean, serving a wide variety of food, from main courses and light meals to desserts, beverages, and snacks.

---

While enjoying their lunch, they chatted casually.

"Um, VGM Sher, may I ask you something?" said Dahye hesitantly.

"Of course! What would you like to ask, Miss Dahye?" replied Sheryyn warmly.

"Is it true that you graduated from Xayldor University?" asked Dahye excitedly.

"That's right, I just graduated a few days ago," said Sheryyn with a friendly smile.

"Wow! What was your major?" asked Dahye curiously.

"I majored in Management," answered Sheryyn.

Linda then joined in, "If you just graduated a few days ago, that means you finished your master's degree, right? Since you're only 26."

Sheryyn paused for a moment, her gaze shifting slightly downward.

"Yes, that's right. I just finished my master's," she answered with a smile.

"Wow, amazing! VGM Sher, you're both smart and rich!" said Jesie.

"Exactly!" added Dahye and Linda at the same time.

"Haha, not really. I'm just ordinary," said Sheryyn, laughing softly.

---

"I'm curious, in such a prestigious university, were the relationships between students good?" asked Dahye.

"Right! Did those geniuses also do things like students in regular universities, like going on blind dates between departments? Haha..." added Jesie.

"Hmm... I'm not sure. I didn't have many friends because I was too focused on studying. Ah, but I did have one very good friend," said Sheryyn, smiling as if remembering a fond memory.

"So if you didn't have many friends, that one friend must be very special!" teased Linda.

"Special, huh? I think just an ordinary friend," replied Sheryyn calmly.

---

"But VGM Sher," said Dahye, "there are many great companies overseas, and as far as I know, Xayldor collaborates with several top international firms. So why did you choose Brightern?"

"Aside from Brightern being a prestigious company, I also chose it because I wanted to live here," answered Sheryyn with a smile.

"Oh, I see..." said Dahye, Linda, and Jesie together.

"Now it's my turn to ask a question," said Sheryyn playfully.

They all burst out laughing, realizing they had been treating her like an interviewee.

"Haha, of course, VGM Sher! We'll answer anything, even questions about the Angel of Dyroon!" said Linda jokingly.

"That's right! Don't hesitate to ask us—the company's gossip source!" added Jesie, laughing.

"Hm? Angel of Dyroon?" asked Sheryyn, confused.

"Yes! The Angel of Dyroon!" said Dahye excitedly.

"The Angel of Dyroon is our CEO and heir of Brightern, Eilghy Von Dyroon. We call him that because he's such a kind person! Every summer and winter, he allows us to work from home if necessary," said Jesie.

"And we also get flexible leave! As long as our work isn't affected, we can take a few hours off whenever needed. Sometimes my child suddenly becomes clingy, and I can't work properly, but thankfully I can take a few hours off since our leave is counted by the hour, not by the day!" added Linda enthusiastically.

"On holidays, we have the right to ignore work calls, even from our superiors! We can work while eating, lying down, or even upside down, and no one will mind!" said Jesie cheerfully.

"And the best part, the company gives us huge bonuses every year if we work hard and do our jobs well!" said Dahye happily.

"Wow! CEO Dyroon is truly kind-hearted," said Sheryyn, feeling genuinely delighted after hearing their joyful stories.

"Exactly, VGM Sher! When else can we experience such an amazing international company? CEO Dyr's leadership is truly a golden era," said Linda.

"I really admire CEO Dyr. Even though he only took over three years ago, he has brought such positive change. His father, Commissioner Damon Von Dyroon, even proudly praises him as the Angel of Dyroon," added Jesie.

"I agree! With rules like these, employees are more motivated, and the company's productivity has skyrocketed!" said Dahye.

"Young, handsome, kind, and brilliant at managing the company. He's truly like an angel! Even as a married woman, I can't help but adore him," said Linda, half-laughing and half-blushing.

"That's right, Mrs. Lin! CEO Dyr is every woman's dream. He's tall, muscular, handsome, kind, and incredibly rich. Who wouldn't fall in love at first sight?" said Dahye, giggling shyly.

"VGM Sher, I'm sure you'll fall in love at first sight too once you meet him. He's literally like an angel! I even get excited just thinking about his perfect smile!" said Jesie, practically melting at the thought.

"Wow, really? Now I'm curious to see what this Angel of Dyroon looks like," said Sheryyn, laughing happily with them as they continued to gush about the CEO.

"Oh, by the way, I wanted to ask, why did the previous VGM resign from this position?" asked Sheryyn.
