Well, if I was going to seduce Xavier, then I needed a plan.
A damn good one.
A way to get close to him without having him realize I was doing exactly what Lucian wanted—making him fall for me. And, of course, I had to use something I never planned to use in a million years: my stupid omega pheromones. It made my stomach churn just thinking about it, but deep down, I knew Xavier wasn't going to be easily seduced by the usual techniques. No way in hell. He wasn't some idiot who'd fall for a pretty dress and a coy smile.
God forgive me, but I had no choice.
I never resented anyone like I resented Lucian right now. Never. The bastard had pushed me into this mess, had made me feel like I had to use everything I hated about myself to get out of it.
