"You shouldn't have saved him, he's ungrateful," the boy said quietly, but not quietly enough since Bakugo heard him.

"Shut up, you retard!" Bakugo shouted. The raven-haired boy tried to kill the blond with his gaze.

"Hehe," Itachi said with a nervous smile and a drop of blood on his neck. "And Bakugo, this is my little brother. His name is Sasuke Uchiha."

"Let me get off, niisan," Sasuke suggested, but Itachi refused to accept his brother's request.

"I don't want you to overexert yourself, Sasuke. Your ankle could get worse," Itachi retorted. "Bakugo, we were just going home to eat, so why don't you come and eat with us? Our mother cooks very well."

Bakugo was in a bit of a dilemma. On the one hand, he couldn't stand the dark-circled boy, and even less so his retarded brother. But on the other hand, the food at the orphanage was worse than at the hospital. In the end, his stomach won out over reason.

"Mmm, all right. But you're not doing me a favor by inviting me to lunch, haggard!" the blond man emphasized. "I'm doing you a favor with my presence, which is infinitely more valuable than any meal!"

"I have no doubt about it," Itachi said.

"No! Why are you inviting him? He insulted me!" Sasuke complained, whispering in Itachi's ear. This time, Bakugo didn't hear him.

"That's just the way he is. But deep down, he's a good person," Itachi reasoned.

"I doubt it..." Sasuke muttered.

"Are you talking about me?" Bakugo asked, frowning.

The Uchiha brothers decided to ignore the question and led the way toward the Uchiha neighborhood. A few minutes later, they passed in front of the Konoha police station.

"This is where Otoosan (Dad) works, isn't it?" Sasuke pointed to the police station with the Uchiha fan symbol on it. Itachi, who was carrying Sasuke, stopped.

"Otoosan?" Bakugo thought, confused, looking where Sasuke was pointing.

"Yes. It's the Konoha police force headquarters," Itachi replied.

"One thing has always caught my attention. Why is the Uchiha emblem also the symbol of the police?" Sasuke asked.

—Wow, you've noticed... —but when he was about to answer his brother, Bakugo interrupted him.

—I don't give a shit if it's the police emblem or the emblem of a liquor store! Talk about this shit when I'm not around, assholes! It's really annoying that the very day I'm with you has to be the day you want to tell each other your family stories.

—No one forced you to come with us, Bakugo! Go home and leave me and Niisan alone!—

"You're lucky I don't think it's right to hit mentally handicapped people, retard," Bakugo said, a vein popping out of his forehead in anger.

"But you look like a weakling! I'm sure you're not even capable of fighting a villager," he replied.

—I'M A WEAKLING! —Bakugo shouted, offended. —YOU'RE GOING TO FIND OUT, ASSHOLE!—

"Calm down, Bakugo," Itachi said calmly. "I get the impression you're not the type of person who would fight someone who's injured. Why don't you postpone the fight until Sasuke recovers?"

"Tsk," Bakugo muttered, crossing his arms. "That's true. It wouldn't be very heroic of me to kick a cripple's ass."

"You don't have to worry about me, niisan. I just need one arm to defeat this bully," Sasuke said.

This time it was Bakugo who was trying to kill Sasuke with his gaze. Itachi watched with pleasure as Bakugo remained silent, managing to cool down the argument. A short while later, they arrived at the mansion of the leader of the Uchiha clan, his father, Fugaku Uchiha.

"It's so late. What were you doing?" Fugaku asked, arms crossed and leaning against the mansion wall. The clan leader hadn't yet noticed the ash-blond's presence.

"We were training, otoosan," Sasuke said, embarrassed for arriving so late.

Bakugo took in the appearance of the unknown adult. He had neck-length brown hair and black eyes like his sons. He also wore the jounin ninja vest with the Konoha Military Police symbol and a blue cape with white triangles at the bottom. He looked more like Itachi than Sasuke.

The ash-blond frowned. Bakugo, the Uchiha brothers' father, didn't have a good feeling about him; there was something in that look that seemed to hide a terrible secret. Bakugo could be very perceptive when it came to sizing people up.

"Huh?" Fugaku finally noticed Bakugo. "What are you doing here? Go home before I tell your parents you're sneaking around other people's houses."

—Tsk. —Bakugo's instinct told him not to mess with that man, so he acted intelligently and remained silent, waiting for the events to unfold.

"I invited him to lunch," Itachi said, placing Sasuke on the ground. "And for your information, I don't think he cares too much about that threat. Bakugo is an orphan."

The leader's expression didn't flinch even a little despite knowing that the child was an orphan.

"Why did you invite him, Itachi?" Fugaku asked curiously.

Meanwhile, Sasuke looked back and forth between his brother and Fugaku, somewhat worried. He feared they would argue again. They had been arguing quite often lately, especially since he joined the ANBU special forces. Meanwhile, Bakugo continued to focus on Fugaku, hoping to find a clue about the secret his gaze was hiding.

"Because I like him," Itachi said with a shrug.

"Ein?" Bakugo stopped staring at Fugaku to pay attention to Itachi. He hadn't expected that response from the dark-circled man.

"Why do you like him?" Fugaku said ironically. "What kind of answer is that!" he said, raising his voice. "He's not an Uchiha. He can't be here...!"

Itachi challenged him with his gaze. The tension could have been cut with a knife. Fortunately, it didn't last long, as a woman entered the room.

"Come on, honey. Let the boy stay. It's so weird to see Itachi bringing friends," the woman said with an angelic smile.

"Friends? Let's not go too far, ma'am," Bakugo said, his hands in his pockets. The lady's smile widened at the boy's amused reply.

—We haven't introduced ourselves. You already know my sons, Sasuke and Itachi. This grouch... —she said, hugging Fugaku's arm. —...is my husband and clan leader, Fugaku Uchiha. And I am Mikoto Uchiha. And you are...?—

Unlike Fugaku, his wife seemed like the epitome of kindness. Bakugo, at that moment, thought that if such a kind person was married to Fugaku, perhaps the secret she was hiding wasn't so terrible. Perhaps he was mistaken in his perception. It was rare for him to be wrong, but it wouldn't be the first time. So the young ash-blond man stopped being defensive. At least in front of his mother.

"Katsuki Bakugo," Bakugo replied, his cheeks blushing.

Unlike the other introductions, this time Bakugo's voice trembled. It's important to remember that although he had the body of a 6-year-old, his mind was that of a hormone-fueled 16-year-old. For Bakugo, Mikoto was quite attractive. The last time he felt something similar was with Round Face in his original world.

"Katsuki. What a pretty name..." Mikoto said, approaching Bakugo and ruffling his ash-blonde hair. This only made Bakugo blush even more.

"Mother, Bakugo doesn't like being called by his first name," Itachi said.

"No, isn't it? He's so pretty..." Mikoto said regretfully.

"It's not true!" Bakugo said with all the willpower he had to keep from stuttering. "I said you couldn't call me that, haggard. Well, the dwarf and the old man can't call me that either. But your mother can call me whatever she wants." He said the last part, looking at the ground in embarrassment.

"You're so cute, Katsuki!" Mikoto bent down and hugged Bakugo tightly like a mother would. Bakugo, between Mikoto's niceness and missing his mother Mitsuki, returned the hug.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes, watching the scene with jealousy. Little Sasuke didn't like the ash-blond boy. Even less so when the latter, upon feeling Sasuke's gaze, flicked the finger at the brunette without his mother seeing.
