Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Ultimate Skill, and a Bottle of Milk

[Ding!

Quest Received: Bring back the tree spirits for Louise.

Reward: Bloody Hands.

Bloody Hands: After killing an opponent, you can randomly get one of their attributes or skills!]

A strong wind blew around George, and a system voice echoed in his mind.

The wind stopped, and George appeared in an endless, cloudy Snowfield: Skadi Snowfield!

"George!" A angry voice came from behind George.

He turned around and recognized the person: Elden! Level 20! Mage! Skill: Magic Eye.

Magic Eye: A hidden skill for mages. Just stare at the enemy, and they will be stunned and take damage over time. It costs 30 mana to use. When it hits, the enemy is stunned for 3 seconds, and it ignores their level!

Behind him were two men and two women: a male warrior, a female priest, a female assassin, and a male ranger.

All four of them were level 19, almost at level 20!

Near the five of them was a tree spirit, its vines waving, almost dead from their attack.

George took a sharp breath and was scared!

He chose to be a peacekeeper when he joined the game, and the first troublemaker he and 15 peacekeeper NPCs dealt with was Elden!

At that time, Elden was only level 11, and the 15 peacekeeper NPCs were all level 10.

But... Elden used the Magic Eye spell and knocked out thirteen peacekeepers!

Now, Elden is level 20, and has learned some new magic skills?

"Elden..." George smiled and said.

The next moment, George grabbed his Frost Moon Blade and swung it with all his power. Snow flew everywhere, keeping Elden from finding him.

"Get into position and protect me!" Elden shouted. "Carol, find him and tell me where he is. I'll pay you back offline!"

Carol was the female assassin. She learned the Bloodlust skill at level 10.

Bloodlust: Can sense other players' blood and find their position, no matter the environment!

"Found him!" In the snowstorm, Carol suddenly appeared in front of George. The assassin used her speed to the max, swinging her curved blade to cover George.

George smiled, stepped forward, and cut Carol's blade in half.

Carol was fast, but she was only level 19. George was level 29. He had a big advantage.

"Cover me, charge!" Elden shouted.

Warriors charged forward with a loud noise, the priest and Elden walked together, constantly healing the warrior. The ranger circled around, protecting Elden and the priest.

Elden's Magic Eye glowed red. The skill was already ready, just waiting to stun George.

No need for 3 seconds, not even 1 second. 0.3 seconds was enough. Enough to kill George!

"George!" Elden shouted, full of excitement and anger. His Magic Eye shot red light straight at George.

George flipped to the side. The Magic Eye hit the assassin Carol that George had already taken down. Carol was stunned immediately.

Charge!

One slash. Frost Moon Blade sent the warrior flying.

Clang!

One slash. The ranger slashed George's back. George lost 38 HP.

Boom!

One slash. Frost Moon Blade came crashing down.

"George..." Elden roared in anger and frustration. "I won't let you live. I'll kill you all over the map..."

His voice of despair echoed. Elden was dead!

The wind and snow from the Frost Moon Blade slowly fell. George held the blade and coldly looked at the other four.

The four quickly gathered, nervous and on guard, but no one dared to attack.

"What's your name?" George asked the priest, who was holding a green branch.

"N-Nikita..." Nikita almost cried, her voice full of fear. "Don't kill me. I'm a student. I worked hard to get to level 19..."

George smiled and shook his head. "Don't worry. I won't. Come on, heal me."

"Y-you really aren't going to kill me?" Nikita looked sad and scared, still keeping her guard up.

"Come on!" George shouted.

Nikita cried, but she quickly swung her branch. A green light hit George.

Priest skill, Minor Healing (Level 3): Heals the target 46 to 56 HP!

George's health came back to full. He gripped his Frost Moon Blade and ran straight toward the tree spirit.

"Team up!" George called to the four of them. "Share the experience!"

Right now, George's most important task was to finish Louise's quest and get the ultimate skill.

Experience level didn't matter. He could share it. Even a little help would be good.

He couldn't fail.

Frost Moon Blade kept slashing, and once in every thirty hits, it would trigger a moon shadow.

The tree spirit was level 33, with 1000 HP. It had two skills: Vine Whip and Ice Spirit.

Vine Whip: It would shoot seven vines at once. Ten attacks, one would hit. Each hit would deal 33 to 66 damage.

Ice Spirit: When its HP dropped below 200, it would pull life from the ground, healing to 800 HP, and shoot ten vines at once.

One slash. Frost Moon Blade triggered a moon shadow.

The tree spirit's HP dropped to 197!

Boom...

The icy ground shook. The tree spirit sank back into the ground.

"Come here!" George shouted.

The four finally came over and stood behind George.

Boom...

The tree spirit grew out of the ground again and shot ten vines.

The warriors, rangers, and assassins rushed forward to block the vines for George.

George kept swinging his Frost Moon Blade, attacking hard.

Nikita used the time to heal everyone in the back.

An hour later, the tree spirit fell with a loud crash.

The four of them glowed green. They all went to level 20, and their health was full.

George was just one small monster away from level 30.

But even if he leveled up, he didn't get any new skills. Only his stats increased. He wasn't worried.

George walked forward, picked up the tree spirit, and took out a teleport scroll.

"George..." Priest Nikita suddenly called out to him.

George turned around.

"Um... can I still play with you?" Nikita shouted.

George smiled and shook his head. He activated the teleport scroll.

Play together?

No way. Peacekeeper was too annoying!

...

George appeared in the peacekeeper hall, carrying the tree spirit.

The golden door opened automatically. Louise flew in on her broom, rushing over.

"Little George, you really did it? Great! Come with me, my little love. I'm so happy!" Louise kissed George on the cheek and pulled him toward the golden door.

Inside the golden door, they reached a big wooden barrel and a pile of monster corpses. Louise flew over, took the big tree spirit from George, and dropped it into the barrel. She used her broom to mix the blood and meat.

"Great! Now I don't have to make potions every day. I can be free! Hehe..." Louise smiled and talked to herself: "I still have to pay the salary for making healing potions. But it's all mine. I'm going to be a rich girl..."

[Ding! Congratulations, host. Quest completed. Reward given!]

George stood below, listening to Louise's chatter. He touched the spot on his cheek where she had kissed him and couldn't help but laugh.

NPCs were really too real.

Louise was still that cute, big-breasted little girl...

George thought wrong and shook his head quickly. He shouted, "Louise, my ultimate skill!"

"Ultimate skill? Here, my little George!" Louise smiled happily, reached into her big chest, pulled out a book, and tossed it to George.

George caught it with both hands. The book was still warm, and it smelled like Louise's chest.

He opened the dark brown cover and saw the title: Monster Encyclopedia!

"This isn't an ultimate skill! This is just knowledge!" George cried in despair. "Louise, I want an ultimate skill! A skill!"

"Little George!" Louise flew down on her broom and hit George on the head. "This is the only Monster Encyclopedia in the whole server. It has every monster's skills and weaknesses. It tells you everything about every hidden boss in every dungeon. This is the best guide. If this isn't an ultimate skill, then what is?"

Annoying little girl!

George gritted his teeth. "I just want an ultimate skill!"

This thing, combined with his Bloody Hands, would be a killer. He could take down the whole map by himself.

But tomorrow, most players would be level 20. Any group of 20s would be too much for George.

He couldn't even leave Ceylon City. How could he take over the whole map?

"Take it or leave it!" Louise pouted, reached into her chest, and started squeezing, making a painful face.

"What are you doing?" George asked.

"Checking, you idiot?" Louise huffed.

George nodded without thinking.

Louise actually pulled her clothes open, showing her white chest. She held a crystal bottle in one hand and squeezed her breast with the other.

George watched, mouth dry, and couldn't help licking his lips.

Louise squeezed for a whole two bottles of milk. Then she flew back over the tree spirit, poured one bottle on it, and mixed it with the monster's corpse.

"The tree spirit isn't alive... my freedom...!" Louise cried, holding a crystal bottle, and landed in front of George. She shoved the other bottle into his hands. "You go and bring me Wraithroot herbs. Wraithroot can bring life to anything. It can bring the tree spirit back. I'll trade you the ultimate skill for it. When you come back, I'll give it to you!"

George took the warm bottle, looked at Louise's pink nipples, swallowed hard, and nodded.

"Go fast!" Louise tapped her broom, and George stumbled, barely standing in the peacekeeper hall.

[Ding!

Quest Received: Bring back Wraithroot herbs for Louise to revive the tree spirit.

Reward: One unknown skill.]

George held the Monster Encyclopedia in his left hand and the milk bottle in his right.

He looked at the bottle and fought the urge to taste it. He put it away, then opened the Monster Encyclopedia.

Herbs... The Monster Encyclopedia didn't have anything on it!

He had no idea where the herb was. He'd never even heard of Wraithroot!

George wanted to cry. It looked like he had no choice but to talk to other players.
