Dahlia's POV
Lorena's reaction to learning that Cobb had arrived in Crestwood City with Ivana was explosive. The news that he was searching for ways to win me back sent her into a rage that made her entire body tremble.
Fire danced in her eyes as she ground her teeth together. "That worthless piece of garbage actually believes he can stroll back into your world and convince you to take him back just by showing his face here? The audacity of that man is astounding. All that arrogance can't mask the fact that he's complete trash."
Her distress was so intense that I reached out and placed a calming hand on her arm. "I'm not bothered by this, so why are you letting it consume you?"
Lorena drew in several deep breaths, her fury still simmering beneath the surface. "Tonight's class reunion is happening at the Silverlight Hotel. I'm planning to tell him exactly what I think of him."
