In the eighth group of applicants, 2 out of 5 passed.
One was a man in his mid twenties. He was level 8 with the F-rank sword mastery skill.
The other one was another man but in his mid thirties. He was level 11 and had the Sword Master class, but his mastery was just D-rank.
In the ninth group only one person passed. She was a woman in her early thirties. She was level 10 and had the Sword Master class as well. But she had a C-rank shortsword mastery.
In the tenth group, Lucas got a happy surprise.
4 people passed and 3 of them had a class.
The one without a class was a guy in his early twenties. He was level 8 and had the F-rank mace mastery skill.
The first one with a class was a man in his late twenties, he was level 10 and had the Tank class. He had D-rank mastery over both the shield and spear.
The second one with a class was a woman in her early twenties. She was level 10 and had the Spear Master class with a D-rank mastery.
The last one with a class was the best surprise. It was a woman in her mid thirties. She was level 10 and had the Mage class. She only had D-rank magic knowledge, but mages were very rare.
Lucas and Francesco decided to take a break after the tenth group.
Lucas drank from his water bottle and turned toward Francesco.
"How many does this make?"
"19 out of 50 applicants were hired."
"I guess that's not so bad."
"Yes sir. It is very difficult finding so many capable people with a good character."
"That's true."

It was still only morning and there were hundreds of applicants left.
Lucas wasn't sure if they could interview all of them today. More would come on other days anyways.
The Helios guild was the only big guild in the canton Zurich so far and definitely the most popular in the country.
There were already 15 official guilds in Switzerland and a lot of smaller ones being created right now.
Everyone in Zurich and a lot of people all over the country were talking about the Helios guild.
After seeing him fight in the live stream to clear a whole city with his guild, Lucas was considered one of the top awakened in the country.
There were a few others who were apparently close to level 20, but Lucas didn't pay it much attention since they lived in different cantons and he was too focused on Zurich right now.

Lucas and Francesco soon continued the interviews.

Diego was a man in his late forties. He had dark hair and eyes and caramel skin. He had a skinny body and wore glasses.
He was extremely intelligent and had a curious but kind personality.
Lucas immediately hired him and made sure he was given a good contract before sending him to their lab, where William was.
The other two in his group who passed weren't special.
One was a woman in her mid twenties. She was level 9 and had the F-rank sword mastery skill.
The other was a man in her early thirties. He was also level 9 and had the F-rank dagger mastery skill.
In the next group only one person passed.
He was a man in his early twenties. He was level 10 with the Warrior class. He had the D-rank close combat skill and D-rank breathing technique skill.
Lucas wasn't sure what the warrior class exactly was and how it was different from the martial artist class. They both seemed to focus mostly on close combat, but some also had other weapon skills.
Lucas decided not to think too much about it.
In the next group there were luckily three people who passed.
The first was a man in his late twenties. He was level 11 and had the Sword Master class. He had the D-rank scimitar mastery. It was a sword than was thinner than normal with a little curve and only one sharp edge.
The second person to pass was a man in his mid twenties. He was level 8 with no skills, but he used a sword.
Even though every awakened got a weapon at their awakening, not everyone was guaranteed to get a weapon mastery skill after using their weapon enough.
And the third person to pass was unique.
It was a woman in her early thirties. She was level 10 and surprisingly had the Tank class, which was unusual for a woman to have since they usually had smaller and weaker bodies.
This woman however however was very tall and muscular. Appeared she was a Norwegian athlete.
She had the C-rank shield mastery skill and D-rank mace mastery skill.
Lucas was excited to have her as a guild member.
When the woman caught Lucas staring at her, she felt her heart beating harder and faster.
'Could he be interested in me? No, there's no way someone so handsome would find a giant woman like me attractive.'
Lucas could read her emotions thanks to Odin's Eye.
Although he was staring at her, he has no special intentions, but now that he thought about it, he wasn't opposed to the idea of fucking a woman like her. She wasn't ugly either, just very tall and muscular, but not so muscular that she looked like a body builder.
'She's clearly attracted to me. Should I give it a shot later?'
As she was walking out she saw Lucas smiling at her. She blushed and turned around.
Lucas was chuckling internally.
He didn't really have a type. As long as he didn't find someone ugly, he was open to have any woman.
Lucas was always on the handsome side, but he was extremely depressed and lacked confidence in the past, plus he didn't take care of himself.
All of that changed and now he knew he could have most women he wanted.
