'Hey, hey. Where are you going' he yelled
'I'm leaving. I already told you that it's over between us. You just have to understand.' She bellowed back at him
'I think you should reconsider your decision. You just can't end it like this.' He answered with a tearful tone
She turns around and faces him
'Why can't you just accept it. You don't have a choice'
He pulls her closer by her arm and forcefully tries to kiss her soft, pink lips, but she withdraws and slightly pushes him away
He interlocks his hand at her back and pulls her close to himself and with eye-to-eye contact he asks
'What's the real reason for the breakup'
'Ouch. You're hurting me'
'Oh, sorry'
He releases her a bit
'You've not yet answered my question,' he inquires
'Yeah, it's just that I don't think we are meant to be'
'You know I've loved you since childhood. So why do you still doubt'
'I don't know, I just have the feeling that you are no longer the right person for me'
'After all we've been through together. No, Ava!'
'We were friends by then and not lovers'
'As I watch straight into your eyes, I feel that's not the real reason'
'Sure, you know me too well'
'So that's not the truth, right'
'Yeah, I'll tell you someday'
She slowly removes his hand from her waist. A car drives by and parks a close distance from them and blows the horn
'Goodbye hv' she said softly
She turns around and walks towards the car and steps in.
He stood frozen as the car drove past him with her head bowed
He smirks and says
'I can't believe this
....
He's seen at a bar
'Give me something to drink, 'he speaks rudely whiles removing his jacket
'Sir please we have whisky, baileys and vodka. Which one would you prefer.
'Don't you understand what I said, or you don't understand English'
'Sir please which one would you prefer'
'Call your boss for...'
A lady from behind interrupts
'He'd prefer baileys'
'Okay madam'
'Hi' she greets him
'Hi' he responds reluctantly
'I can see you are stressed and broken. Is there anything I can do for you'
'No, not really'
'Here you go sir'
He stretches his hands and places the drink in front of him
'Thanks'
He gulps all the liquor in his mouth and in no time, he was done
'That was fast," she said
'Give me another one'
'Would you like to share'
'Here you go sir'
He grips the glass and gulps its content
'Heyy, slow down. You don't want to choke yourself'
'Lady, don't you have anything to do?'
He hits the glass hard on the counter which causes attention
'People are watching. Can you behave like a gentleman' she muttered
'Well, they should keep on watching,' he screams
He goes closer to her and whispers
'They should just know they are wasting their time'
He gets up and storms out of the building without even paying for the drink
'Hey, hey. You forgot to pay. And you left your jacket' he shrieks but he didn't mind
'Here you'
She hands him her credit card
You are such a good and generous woman, take care of your husband well
'Well, he's not mine husband' she said awkwardly
(Anyway, I wish he was) she mumbled
'pardon'
He gives her the credit card
'Yeah, nothing.'
She picks up the jacket and rashes out of the building scouting for him
She finally sees him leaning against the wall; she walks towards him
'There you are. Oh you left your jacket'
She raises it high and hands it to him
'Thank you. Can you stop following me. I have a messed-up life to rearrange. Sure, you don't want to end up like me,' he hissed
He walks away
'Do you even have a heart? Can't you at least say thank you.' She bellows
'Already said that. Goodbye' he replied while walking
She watches him sternly as he walks away
Her phone rings…
'Hello'
'Hello madam. Please Your brother is in your office waiting for you'
'What!'
What on earth is he doing there. Why did you let him in' she exclaimed
'I'm sorry Madam. I don't even know when in enter' he replies softly
'I told you to make sure he will not be seen within the company's walls but now he's inside my office. Jayden! MY OFFICE'
'I'm so sorry. I'll work on improving security cameras and guards'
'Whatever. Just give him something to drink. I'll be there in a jiffy' she talks calmly
'Okay, madam'
She hangs up
She turns around and to her surprise she sees a familiar guy Infront of her
'What brought you back' she asks
