Chapter 19 - Chapter 20 Black Bear Three

Tang San walked to the counter. "Please give us three rooms."

The waiter behind the counter stood up and looked at Ning Chuan and Xiao Wu, who was sitting very close to him. A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes, and then a half-smile appeared on his face. "Sorry, we only have two rooms left."

"Two? That's fine." Tang San was stunned, thinking that two rooms would be enough. Xiao Wu could have a room to herself, and he could just make do with Ning Chuan.

But the waiter's next words made Tang San's eyes almost burn and his breath was gasping. "Yes, there are only two rooms, but don't worry, our rooms are fully equipped and the beds are big enough for your two companions to share a room."

As he spoke, he gave Ning Chuan a look that said, "You know what I mean. "

Ning Chuan didn't expect that he would be misunderstood as having an affair with this rabbit, and he felt a little amused.

Without waiting for Tang San's reply, Xiao Wu casually said, "Then two rooms, Heige, you get one to yourself, and Xiao Liuzi and I get one. We were in the same dorm back at Notting College anyway."

"No, it has to be three, Xiao Wu. There's no touching between men and women, so you can't live together. Besides, we've both graduated and aren't at Notting College anymore,"

  Tang San sternly refused.

When it came to matters of principle, Tang San wouldn't budge an inch. Otherwise, letting Ning Chuan and Xiao Wu stay in the same hotel, a man and a woman, alone—how could that be?

" He added, "Xiao Wu, how about this? Ning Chuan and I will share a room, and you'll have one to yourself. Ning Chuan, what do you think?" The latter part was addressed to Ning Chuan, his tone almost tinged with warning.

But Ning Chuan wasn't about to let this jerk have his way. "No need. I think Xiao Wu's suggestion is a good one."

Xiao Wu's heart sank at this, for this was the first time Ning Chuan had responded to her.

  "Ningchuan!"

After five years, Xiao Wu called out Ningchuan's name again, staring at him with infatuated eyes.

  And so, Tang San exploded.

He felt a green tinge on his head.

The rage within him suddenly surged, as if his wife had been stolen.

But Ningchuan was clearly furious, and he said to the waiter, "Please give me these two rooms."

"Ningchuan!" Tang San gritted his teeth.

Just as he was about to explode, a sudden voice rang out from outside.

"Don't fight about it, these rooms are mine."

The three of them simultaneously glanced towards the door and saw three people enter. One man and two women. The woman looked gorgeous, tall, and similar in appearance, perhaps twins. The man was slightly taller than Ningchuan, a full 1.8 meters tall, with broad shoulders, a handsome face, and long blond hair. Most striking of all, his eyes were twin pupils.

"Dai Mubai?" Ningchuan narrowed his eyes slightly, quickly guessing their identities.

"What's your business?" Tang San was already furious, so naturally he wasn't going to be friendly with Dai Mubai.

Unexpectedly, Dai Mubai smiled when he saw Tang San. He looked him up and down, saying, "I wonder if you're a kiln burner or a charcoal seller. You're really quite handsome with your dark skin."

"Maybe he's just a blind bear who ran away from somewhere."

"Perhaps his martial spirit is really a blind bear."

The twins beside Dai Mubai also laughed at Tang San's expression. Tang San's appearance was truly ridiculous; from his physique to his complexion, he resembled a blind bear.

  "Asshole!"

They say the less you have, the more you care about it. Tang San had two taboos: Xiao Wu and anyone who called him a villain. Aside from Xiao Wu and his father, Tang Hao, he would fight anyone who called him a villain.

  This moment was no exception.

Hearing Dai Mubai and the other two constantly hurling insults at him, Tang San erupted in fury. Unable to contain himself, his eyes crimson and his breath pounded. He slammed his right foot forward, leaping three meters before unleashing a punch at Dai Mubai.

At the moment of the punch, Tang San's hand instantly turned a brilliant white.

  "Good to see you."

In reality, Dai Mubai hadn't come here for a room, but to fight. He sensed a powerful surge of soul power from the three men before him, no less powerful than his own. The fair, imposing figure in particular gave him the impression of being no less powerful.

Looking at their ages, aside from the unidentified black-haired man, the other two couldn't be older than thirteen. They

were under thirteen, yet coming to Soto City at this time of year—wasn't that a sure sign of applying for Shrek Academy?

So, he decided to test them.

Seeing Tang San's fist coming towards him, Dai Mubai's eyes flashed with a sinister gleam. He suddenly raised his right palm and, with a thrust forward, smashed it into Tang San's fist. With

a dull thud, Tang San's body uncontrollably stumbled back four or five steps. Dai Mubai didn't retreat a single step, but stared at him in surprise, feeling a splitting pain in his right hand, as if he had struck a bronze pillar.

Tang San was similarly impressed, his eyes filled with surprise. His fist, imbued with the Mysterious Heavenly Art, possessed considerable strength due to years of blacksmithing, and combined with the properties of the Mysterious Jade Hand, he was still repelled.

Ning Chuan, observing the two's clash, marveled inwardly: To compete with a powerful attack-type spirit master in strength, truly worthy of the title of Tang Fozu.

"Well, you're quite capable for taking my punch, but I'm not interested in you. What's your name, brother? How about we have a sparring match?"

Dai Mubai turned his gaze to Ning Chuan.

Ning Chuan stepped forward and calmly announced his name, "Ning Chuan!" It had been a while since he'd truly fought, so Dai Mubai barely qualified.

Dai Mubai's eyes gleamed with a wicked glare: "Alright, then, let's have a duel today. White Tiger Possession." A powerful pale light suddenly erupted from him. Dai Mubai's chest rose, his arms simultaneously extended to his sides, his body suddenly increasing by two times in size. In the blink of an eye, Dai Mubai was covered in white fur, transformed into a standing, humanoid white tiger.

At the same time, three spirit rings, two yellow and one purple, quietly rose. As the spirit rings circulated, surging spirit power formed a wave-like pressure that hit them.

"Thousand-year spirit ring." Xiao Wu exclaimed, a bit more panic in her eyes. She wanted to step forward and fight alongside Ning Chuan, but was stopped by Tang San.

"Don't worry, Xiao Wu, Ning Chuan can handle it."

By this time, Tang San had calmed down, but he was not optimistic about Ning Chuan. Like Yu Xiaogang, Tang San also believed that Ning Chuan had taken drugs, and his spirit power was gradually catching up with his and Xiao Wu's.

After all, with an innate spirit power of half a level, how strong could it be? He couldn't even break through the bottleneck of level 30.
