Tonia's POV
"You realize that for someone about to become Luna of the mighty Shadowpeak pack, this probably isn't your wisest decision," Lucien commented as I threw back my sixth shot of whiskey.
"Oh please," I scoffed, rolling my eyes at his concern. "Don't pretend you're not having fun watching this train wreck."
His laughter confirmed exactly what I suspected.
I grinned and strutted back onto the small stage, grabbing the microphone with confidence I didn't know I possessed. The alcohol had loosened my inhibitions, and I found myself singing and swaying to whatever rhythm felt right. My movements were far from professional, but I didn't care. All I could manage was moving my hips in what I hoped passed for dancing.
The crowd seemed entertained enough by my amateur performance.
A stranger approached and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, trying to join my impromptu dance session.
Not happening.
