Watching the two of them whispering, the owner's smile remained, but an intense killing aura seemed to radiate from his body.
"I say, you two aren't thinking of dining and dashing, are you?"
"Haha, how could that be? I'm a goddess, after all. Mortal, have you not heard of the Water Goddess Aqua?"
As she spoke, Aqua puffed out her chest with immense pride.
"What are you talking about? You think you can play dumb and get away with this?"
The owner's smile vanished. A kitchen knife had appeared in his hand at some point. "We're getting all sorts in the capital these days. People robbing others in broad daylight, and now people daring to dine and dash at my place— And you! Did you think you could sneak away?!"
The owner's gaze instantly shifted to Satou Kazuma, who was tiptoeing away like a thief.
