"I feel it, I can feel the spot that you mentioned. The point is right here. What should I do now?" Rudra asked as he pointed towards the upper right corner of the door. He didn't want to mention anything about being able to see the Spiritual powers just yet, as he still didn't know who or just what person was behind the voice.
"Good, that was quick. Now put your hand on that spot and try to draw the Spiritual power into your body. If you feel any discomfort or if you feel like the power is rejecting you, stop everything you are doing and get back immediately. This is very important, do not try to draw the power if it is rejecting your body." The voice warned Rudra very sternly. Rudra could tell that the voice was very serious; he knew he would suffer consequences if he didn't listen to the voice's advice.
Listening to the voice, Rudra slowly extended his hand towards the spot. He didn't rush the process, as he was a little scared. Just when Rudra placed his hand on the door, he suddenly felt as if someone had just poured a bucket of cold water on him.
"Good, now try to draw power into your body slowly. There is no rush, do it very slowly." Said the voice as she gently guided Rudra through the entire process. Following her voice, Rudra tried to draw the energy into himself, just like he had tried to do earlier when he was outside in the bell tower.
"Ughh," Rudra squealed as he suddenly panicked. He had tried to draw just a little bit of the power, just like the voice said, but after absorbing just a little bit of power, he felt as if he had lost almost all control.
Just like when a dam gate is opened, the Spiritual power suddenly started flowing into his body without any resistance. It was as if he had lost all control. He tried many times, but he was totally unable to stop the inflow of Spiritual power.
"Wait, what happened? Are you okay? What is going on? Do you need help?" The voice asked frantically, as she felt that something wasn't right. In panic, she wanted to forcefully push Rudra away from the door, thinking that might be able to help him.
"Ughhh... No stop, don't do anything, the power is not rejecting my body. I am just unable to control the flow of the power, that's all..." Explained Rudra as he continued absorbing the power that flowed into his body. Rudra, who was absorbing the Spiritual power, could instantly tell that the power he was absorbing was very pure.
Although he didn't have much experience in absorbing Spiritual power before this, when he compared the feeling he felt when he had absorbed recently, he was instantly able to tell the difference between the two was vast.
'Maybe, when I absorbed the spiritual power earlier, my body wasn't able to properly process it?' Rudra tried speculating on the reason behind the difference; the conclusion he reached sounded logical.
Alas, although logical, it was just his speculation. Rudra didn't even have to do anything, as his body, which didn't have any Spiritual power until recently, was slowly filling.
"Why is it that the power I am absorbing is disappearing? It feels like my body is only storing 1% of the power that is entering my body." Rudra asked in a very confused voice. He wanted to know the reason why he was not able to absorb all of the power; he wanted to know if there was something he could do to absorb more efficiently.
"Uhhh.... It seems your constitution is on the weaker side. That may be the reason, or maybe you are being affected by some other reasons, I cannot say. To find out the exact reason, I would need to examine your body, but in the form I am right now, that would be impossible." Said the voice. Rudra was very disappointed by the answer; he knew about the constitutions she was talking about.
Most of the prestigious academies usually test one's constitution to test their potential.
According to their potential, most of the Academy would decide how they would treat the student, for example, if a student had very high potential, they would do anything to nurture the student; they would provide them with very rare materials for their growth. However, that didn't mean students with low potential would be discarded; for the ones with lower potential, they would be given opportunities to prove themselves.
If a student were really able to prove their worth, the academy wouldn't discriminate between the two.
"There is no need to be worried, even if you have a bad constitution. I used to have a very weak constitution as well. I didn't see that as a roadblock; I never let myself get disheartened because of that. While my friends with a godly constitution worked hard to get stronger.
I, on the other hand, worked 10 times harder than they did to reach their level and was able to eventually surpass them all," said the voice trying to console Rudra, who went silent. She felt Rudra was disheartened after hearing the bad news, so, feeling sorry for him, she tried to console him.
"I will keep that in mind." Said Rudra, unlike what the voice had thought, he wasn't disheartened at all.
On the contrary, it didn't really matter to him even if he had a weaker constitution than the rest; his goal was to become the strongest in the world and to find out the reason why he was reincarnated in this world. He didn't care about any roadblock in his path, as even in his previous life, he had been very resilient, so he knew he would find a way to get past the hurdle eventually.
CLANCK KRIIIIIIII
Rudra heard a sound similar to that of a lock being opened, right after that, the door slowly opened, finally revealing the secrets hidden inside.
Even after the door opened, Rudra stood frozen in his place. He was in shock and awe at what he saw inside the door, and he didn't dare to take a step inside.
"Wh...What? You really opened the door? So finally I have fulfilled my task, ahhh.... I don't even remember how many years it has been since I was here. To think that I would be able to see what lay beyond that door in my lifetime. Thank you, thank you...." Said the voice in a shocked voice. She sighed in relief as she finally saw what was inside the door. As she thanked him, Rudra could hear a faint sound of crying; he could tell that she wasn't crying out of sadness rather it was unmistakable happiness.
"Why do you cry? Were you trapped here by someone?" Asked Rudra, he felt sad for the woman as he could tell she must have been trapped here for a very long time for her to have such a strong reaction.
"Trapped, you say? Hah.. No, this is a duty that I took on myself. It's not just me who has taken this duty; before me, there were many others. I chose this sacred duty of my free will. I am just happy I was able to finally see someone open this door that countless have tried to open before. I even tried once, a very long time ago. However, it was promptly rejected by the Spiritual power itself, unlike you." Said the woman with a hint of joy in her voice.
