Chapter 1 - Fuyuki's Death

Fuyuki's Ghost (Part 1/Fuyuki's Death)

It was midwinter, the snow was falling gently, the air was still bright, the cold of the forest was making my breath cold, my lungs were frozen and I was gasping for breath, the ground was completely white, Fuyuki's body was in front of me, and the red color of his blood was flowing on the snow, he wasn't breathing, his eyes no longer sparkled, the blood flowing on his head was frozen, he was already dead, I was late...

« Flashback to two hours ago »

The sky was cloudy and the cold outside was entering the house. Two hours had passed since I had called Fuyuki, and there was no news of Fuyuki. I was starting to get tired. I put my head on the desk and whispered softly, "Where did he disappear to? He hasn't come back yet... What if he really is gone? What about the forest?!"

I was starting to worry about him. I got up from the bed, grabbed my brown coat and scarf, and quickly put them on. In the same hurry, I quickly went down the stairs and put on my shoes. My mom asked me in surprise behind me, "Where are you going in such a hurry?!"

Because I was worried about Fuyuki, I said in a sharp and worried tone, "I'm going to go look for Fuyuki, I'll be back soon!" I didn't look behind me and ran towards the forest. It was slowly snowing and the further I went, the colder it got. When I got into the forest, I ran around the forest and kept shouting, "Fuyukieeee!!!"

I was getting tired and my lungs were frozen and I was leaning against a tree, my vision was blurry when my eyes fell on the color of the snow.

I slowly got up from the cup and moved in the same direction. As I went further, the scene in front of me completely stunned me, as if time had stopped and there was no way back... Fuyuki was facing me, trembling from the pain in my throat, I said with a look: "F.. Fuyuki...?"

I held his lifeless body in my arms and screamed loudly, asking for help, hoping that someone would hear me: "Help! Please, someone answer!!" I kept screaming until nightfall, beside his body. I was slowly fainting when I saw a light, as if someone had finally arrived, and I heard the voices of several men saying, "Here they are! I found them! Hey, Daitan! Are you okay?!" I couldn't answer them, and my eyes slowly closed and I fainted...

"The Next Saturday: Fuyuki's Funeral" 9am:

It was Saturday and it was Fuyuki's funeral. The weather was cloudy and everyone was dressed in black. Daitan was paying his respects to Fuyuki and saying goodbye to him, while the others were waiting for Daitan's turn to end. About ten minutes had passed and he noticed that Daitan was not moving and was shaking a lot when a man approached him with slow steps And he said to him in a respectful tone, "Mr. Hayashi, please go with the others, they are waiting to say goodbye to Inoue-kun."

Daitan, who was still bowing and respecting Fuyuki, replied in a cold, disrespectful tone, "Get lost." But the man still respectfully requested, "Mr. Hayashi, I know you're sad about Inoue-kun's departure, but we're also mourning, so please stop and step aside."

Daitan didn't move from his seat when the others gathered around him and there was a commotion. Daitan punched one of them in anger. Several people were trying to stop him when Daitan shouted, "Seriously, you guys don't understand how I feel! It's all your fault you're late!" At the same time, he heard a familiar voice say, "Stop it!" He scolded her in a voice that sounded like Fuyuki's and quickly left the group.

It had been almost two months since Fuyuki's death. In that time, Daitan had managed to forget his sadness, but during those two months, strange things had happened to Daitan, such as his food being eaten and his belongings being lost...

As always, Daitan wakes up to his phone alarm, the light from the window shining in his eyes, and he rubs his eyes, slowly opens them, and whispers, "Another day like this."

But before he could turn off the phone's alarm, he saw the sound of the phone coming from another direction (ding ding). He pushed his hair back in frustration and said, "Oh, again?...damn it!"

He picks up his phone, which was lying next to the drawer, and turns it off by touching its screen. He thinks for a moment, frowns, and says to himself: "I don't want to believe it... but maybe our blood has a soul?! .... I'll remember to get myself a rosary..." At the same time, he hears a soft laugh.

She looks around and says in a quiet, scared tone, "No, I have to seal my room with a spell!" After making her bed, she puts on her school uniform, stands in front of the mirror, fixes her hair, wraps her scarf around her neck, picks up her bag, and slowly walks down the stairs, into the hallway, puts on her shoes, puts her hand over her mouth, yawns, and leaves the house And he looks around and says under his breath, "Spring is near, but the weather is still cold."

The snow had almost melted, but the air was still cold and the wind was blowing. He was walking slowly, but he was in a hurry because of what had happened that morning. As he was walking to school, the giant made his way to the shops. He was looking at the shops carefully when his eyes fell on the fortune-telling board. He went to the tent and entered the tent when he heard the voice of a woman in a black cloak"Come sit down, what are you looking for?"

"Oba-san, I'm looking for a rosary," Daitan replied in a hurried tone. The woman looked at him with a displeased tone, then paused for a moment and said, "Oba-san, who are you calling? I'm still young! ... Well, let me go and look."

After a few minutes of delay, the woman brought a box with her. She opened the box and took out a black rosary and gave it to the daitan. "Look, son, this one was the oldest. It will protect you from spirits, or I think demons."

After thanking her, Daitan gave her money, and before she could leave, the woman looked at her from head to toe and said, "Do you want me to tell you my fortune? Since you're in high school, I'll do it for free!" Datan turned to her and said with a distrustful look in his mind, "Usually, you shouldn't trust them when they say it's free..."

Then, after a moment's hesitation, he respectfully replies, "No, thank you, Oba-san," and leaves the tent. The woman watches him leave and says, "Oh, that was strange!"
