Interior of the Diving Pod / Space Beyond the Nexus
(Inside the pod, Divya's seatbelt is strapped tightly. The pod is no longer shaking. Red warning lights flash everywhere. The engine roar decelerating is heard.)
Divya (Shifts in her seat, gathering herself). Ugh! A tougher jump than I anticipated. (Tinkers with the control panel) Disengaging the outer shield.
(The red alert lights fade. A new sky full of infinite stars on the main screen. The stars are unknown. In the middle, there is a giant, pale Yellow Dwarf Star gleaming.)
Captain Aryan (V.O.) (Voice clear, but slightly faraway) Divya! Divya! Do you hear me? Your signal strength is 2%, but you. you crossed over!
Divya (Sighs in relief) Yes, Captain. I hear you. 'Nexus' threw us. directly into some new star system. Where are we?
Captain Aryan (V.O.) Our navigation systems. they are still calibrating. The old cosmic map doesn't work here. Divya, what's around you?
Divya. It's silent. Extremely silent. The stars. they're different. There's one central star, yellow, just like our Sun. (She scans the data on the screen) My sensors are detecting multiple Gravity Signatures. There are numerous planets.
(Divya turns on her zoom lens. A planet is shown on the screen. It is Earth-sized, but its hue is deep Turquoise and green with a top layer of white clouds.)
Divya (In awe) Captain, I've got the target. It's close to our projected destination. What did we call it?
Captain Aryan (V.O.) Target-E-4, or as the research team had called it, 'Eden'. Does it. does it seem Habitable?
Divya (Softly) It does not merely appear 'habitable', Captain. It's. it's alive. It has at least 70% water on its surface. I'm reading a thick Vegetation bio-signature!
(Captain Aryan's voice is a blend of excitement and emotion.)
Captain Aryan (V.O.) Divya, do you understand what this implies? We did it! The first interstellar jump. and a new home! Slow your speed to 0.5 light-seconds per hour. And. and don't plunge! Begin scanning that planet's Atmosphere.
Divya (Turns the pod into the planet. The main door of the pod trembles a bit. Divya gazes at the screen, her eyes glowing with the light of a new world.) I know, Captain. The next action will make history. The planet had been given the name 'Eden'. I will christen it the 'Blue Pearl'.
(The pod inchingly glides toward the planet. The screen is consumed by the enormous blue and green sphere.)
