Sean's POV
The sound of the back door slamming echoes through the house as Ajax storms out. Every instinct screams at me to follow him, to fix whatever's eating him alive, but anger still burns hot in my chest. The bastard tried to drive away my mate. He terrified her.
Though I'm fairly certain he's too wrapped up in his own emotional tornado to recognize what Sally means to us. Or maybe she's not his mate at all. It's rare, but twins don't always share the same woman.
Philip disappears after Ajax while Karl enters the living room where Warren and I are locked in battle over Xbox controllers.
Why the hell are they leaving Sally outside by herself?
Karl's gaze fixes on the boy with something close to wonder. The shock of discovering he has a son hasn't worn off yet.
"Here," I say, extending my controller toward Karl with a knowing look. "Kid's already destroyed me twice."
"I crushed Sean at racing," Warren announces, practically vibrating with pride on the couch.
