Damn it all to hell.
Damn her. Damn Philip. Damn every single one of them.
Why does everyone bend over backwards for this fragile human? What makes her so damn special? Why does she deserve to be mated to Philip when I've been here all along?
She's not worthy of him. She can't handle what he needs, not the way I can. She's just a weak human who doesn't even understand our world. How can she possibly be our pack Luna? If the Alpha twins want to play pretend with their little fantasy, they can count me out.
Sean treats that kid like his own blood. Sure, I get it - the boy belongs to Karl, he's pack, he's the Alpha Heir. But I'm not signing up to be anyone's babysitter while the twins chase after his mother like lovesick teenagers.
I watch my brother fuss over the child, and despite my bitter mood, I can see he'd make an incredible father someday. When we find our real mate and have our own pups.
