His voice trembled slightly.
"You've really come back? I thought... you'd never return."
Selene Kane's eyes grew warm, but her smile grew sweeter.
She stepped forward and pulled Caleb Shaw's hand, leading him to the elder.
"Of course I had to come back! I've been thinking about it for so long. I have to bring my Beast Husband to meet the elders. You all didn't come to the wedding back then, so this is just to make up for it, right? Even an ugly son-in-law has to meet the father-in-law. It's tradition!"
