Something unexpected happened when Louis, Julian's father, suddenly hugged Arcane as if he was very proud of having changed his son for the better.
"Thank you for changing our son into a better person. I am very proud to hear that," he said.
This made Julian and Arcane feel very confused. Why did Louis say such a thing?
The man admitted that he himself was trying to make Julian an independent person. However, his overprotective nature towards Julian prevented him from letting his son do everything on his own.
"Mom and Dad are too worried about everything I do. You guys still often overreact just because I fell off my bike on my way home from school," said Julian with a sigh.
Arcane nodded in agreement. "Overreacting to something can shape Julian's mind into thinking that it is a negative thing. It depends on what kind of reaction you give."
