Julian's POV
I looked at him suspiciously. Why did he react like that? Or was I just overreacting? His reaction was like someone who had been caught red handed looking for someone he currently liked.
I didn't understand, but some things made me suspicious of him after hearing all the stories Arcane had told me.
He was the only person who was close to Arcane. He often helped him and even made lunch for him.
Could a friendship be so close that it went that far? It was a huge effort for a friend to make lunch for him.
But for now, I don't want to accuse him without proof, even though it's clear that he likes Arcane. Shouldn't he be married?
"I see. I thought you came alone and he was at home," he said.
I shook my head, saying that Arcane was also here. "He's just answering the phone. He'll be back soon."
I saw him nod, but his face was still red and he looked nervous. His face could have been red because he was cold, but why did he have to look so nervous?
