Chapter 10 - Mysterious man part-2

You filthy beast!!

"Unhand the maiden and put her down. Play nice, and I'll make your death painless and quick. If not, I'll have to play with my meal today, and trust me, I had a long, tiring day, and I don't need any other baggage right now, so let's make this quick and over with."

His POV

When I first saw the girl, my first instinct was, "Is she dumb or sick in the head? Why would anyone roam around a dangerous place known to host chimerhumns beasts?" But maybe she didn't really know about the danger she was in, but one thing's for sure: she is very gullible. If I hadn't made it in time, who knows what would've happened? Maybe I'd have to bury another unidentified body... but when I look at the girl a little more, she seems quite young and frail. Oh well, let's get down to business.

I walked over to the wall where my sword was impaled and pulled it out with ease. I always did this as a side job; slaying beasts had always often been a part of my duty as a member of the royal family, but the reason why I call it a hassle is because I never signed up for this part-time job. Being a demon prince downright sucks here. I hate having to clean up the messes the foolish humans cause by forming deals with these evil creatures. Sigh, it can't be helped now, can it?

GRRRAWGH!!!

HUMAN!! YOU DIRTY HUMAN, HOW DARE YOU CHALLENGE ME?!!

Heh... a simple excrement waste like you doesn't get to speak, and you know I was in a good mood in letting you off, but you pissed me off, and now I'm hungry... it's time to play, little monster.

I jumped up in the air over the monster's head, unsheathing my claws and making a small incision on his forehead, and then sliding down on the monster's fur back and gripping the fur on its back. It tried to shake me off his back, but my grip always had a tighter hold on things, so anything I snatched could never leave my grasp, and that's what made this fight so interesting. The monster's back was a little wet and slimy from transforming and leaving leftover mucus membrane all over its body, but the difference and outcome of the fight would always be the same because humans who morph with selfish, greedy beasts only end up weak, and it makes me sick that fights like this are never a challenge.

I took my right hand and pushed the beast in the spine, digging deep into its skin. The beast roared, but I didn't feel any pity or shame; instead, I kept going and ripped out its so-called morphed-together spine and threw it across the floor so the monster was unable to coordinate its foot movements properly, so I jumped down because I knew it wouldn't be long before it lost balance and collapsed. Such a heavy thing needs its spine for balance, and so I jumped down from the beast, putting on a fighting stance to brace for the impact of the fall I was about to get.

"THUD!!!"

"How does that feel, huh, you filthy trash? It hurts, doesn't it? The pain you're in—that's exactly how the dozens of people you killed felt, and this fight is far from over, so shut the hell up and suck it up if you don't want to die."

I let out a soft chuckle with the faint smirk on my face. People called me an arrogant, cocky prince, but I didn't care as long as I was having fun. After all, I never take life seriously. What's the point in doing so? People will always have shit to say about you, but once you turn around, they go quiet. Predictable. It's almost funny. I can already see why this doctor made the deal with these ancient, selfish beasts, knowing full well he'd eventually lose himself, but that's not my sob story to deal with, is it?

GWARGHH!! It hurts you, damned human!

You're damned!

I'm going to kill youths! Graghhhhh!!

Heh, seems you haven't had enough. Well, fine by me.

I pricked my finger and let the blood run down the middle of the sword and began to cast a spell of execution. The circle of hell glows around my feet, an eerie red glow, as the wind starts to pick up. Oh, demoness down from hell and above here, my call from here and now: I call upon the seventh demon command. Give me the power to carry out the judging of the insane the wronged criminals. Grant me the power to rid this world and shine another day of cleanup

"SLASH, SLASH."

"GHARGHHHHH AHHHHH AHH!!!"

"Execution passed."

The beast's blood splattered all over the place, and I licked the blood that flew across my face on my cheeks before wiping my hands clean in my cloak before tearing it away, leaving me in just a regular shirt and pants. I carefully sat down beside the girl who was unconscious and decided to drop her off at her home.

i had no clue were she lived but if i took one whiff of her smell, I could sniff out her home using locational tracker. It wasn't hard, and i had to admit she was pretty light when I lifted her and held her tight in my arms so she wouldnt fall out as i took off from the floor, teleporting from inside to outside of the hospital's roof and taking off, jumping in the night, flying through the night sky.
