Rhea froze as her eyes came in contact with the papers strewn all over the floor.

Alexander folded his arms as he watched her. "Judging from your expressions, it's clear you know what these are." He scoffed.

"I.. I have no... idea what you're talking about." Rhea stammered, trying to deny.

Alexander laughed, not out of amusement or humor. But his laughter was devoid of any form of excitement or mirth.

Hearing him laugh, Rhea swallowed. She knew how Alexander was. He was fiercely protective of his people. There was a time he cared about her, but now...

She clenched her fists tightly, taking a deep breath.

"Care to explain yourself? Or do you think I'm dumb?" He demanded.

Rhea closed her eyes then opened it after taking a deep breath. She met his eyes directly, a trace of defiance flashing through her dark eyes.
