Selina froze in place. 'Why the hell is Rey standing outside my door?'
He stared at her through the crack, his expression ice-cold.
She wavered, unsure whether to let him in or slam the door and pretend she hadn't spotted him.
A door clicked open next door. Selina startled, yanked her door wide, and dragged Rey inside.
Rey's brow furrowed. "What are you—"
She slapped her palm over his mouth, cutting him off. Then she cracked the door and peered into the hallway.
Grace emerged with the man. He flashed her a sleazy smile. "Ms. Bennett, my patience runs thin. One month. No money by then, and you'll regret it."
Grace's glare could have cut glass. "Fine. Stay invisible for the entire month! If Grey gets suspicious because of you, you won't get a dime!"
Nash shrugged, watched Grace storm off, then disappeared back into his room.
Selina shut the door and spun toward Allen sprawled on the couch. "Did you catch that? Something's definitely brewing between Grace and that creep!"
