Chapter 10 - The Five Elders’ Wrath: The Navy Joins the War

"Old bastard! This isn't your stage!"

Golden Lion Shiki, still in his prime, had been dueling Rayleigh. He hadn't expected to get dragged into Saint Saturn's hunt for Kuma and Sharn.

Rayleigh kept close behind — in his eyes, anyone daring enough to attack a Celestial Dragon was worth saving. And those helping slaves, like Kuma and Ivankov, were worth fighting for.

In the ruins below, Kuma rescued Ginny and Ivankov.

After launching them away with the Paw-Paw Fruit, he had already freed more than two hundred slaves.

Saint Saturn stood above them, looking down at Sharn and Kuma.

"You two are filth — slaves and pirates alike deserve no mercy!"

To the Five Elders, there was no difference between them. Both had to die.

"Did pirates offend you personally, old vegetable?"

Shiki exhaled a puff of smoke, twisting the ground beneath his feet into the gaping mouth of a lion.

"Kid! Get out of here!"

"God Valley isn't a place for ordinary people anymore!"

Rayleigh's blade flashed — he cleaved into Saturn's cane, sparks bursting in the air.

Blocked by both of them, Saint Saturn's composure finally broke.

"To deal with you… I'll use my full power!"

His shoulders erupted in black flames — the aura of an awakened Zoan. The pressure in the air grew suffocating.

Meanwhile, Sharn's body was transforming.

Mythical Zoan vitality coursed through his veins.

His defense — unmatched.

The Azure Dragon's power awakened: its scorching wind, its flight through flame-clouds, its lightning-speed movement.

Every change honed his strength further. His body was transcending human limits.

"I was born to die? For what crime?! Old man — who decided this hierarchy?"

"Why can't we laugh freely, like Nika did?"

Kuma stood tall, questioning him — though he was only ten, his frame was towering.

The legend of Nika had filled his dreams for years — but it was a name the Five Elders refused to hear.

"Silence!"

"You cursed species — you're the ones who should be extinct!"

Even while clashing with Rayleigh and Shiki, Saturn's words dripped venom.

"Cursed species" — that was what they called the remnants of nearly extinct races across the seas.

Not one kind, but many: those who had survived the purge of history.

Kuma.

King.

Kaido.

All of them were "Extinction Types."

Their bloodlines came from the Blank Century — a sin the Celestial Dragons vowed to erase.

"Extinction type?"

Sharn's bones cracked audibly as his gaze grew sharp.

"What does that even mean?"

"There are nineteen Celestial families on the Red Line. If one day only a handful remain, will they be 'extinct' too?"

His words cut like knives — a direct mockery.

Saturn lunged to retaliate, but the young Shiki and Rayleigh were relentless — two powerful swordsmen, swift and fierce. How could he break through?

Sharn's eyes burned coldly as scales spread across his skin, his muscles hardened, his frame broadened — and this was only his human form.

Crackle…

Electric currents ran over his body, merging the dragon's lightning with the Mink Tribe's natural electricity, turning the blue-white light into violet arcs.

The Azure Dragon's power reinforced his physique, making him even taller and more fearsome.

"Kuma! Get out of here! The real war's just starting!"

Now beyond human limits — his body strengthened by Mink blood, enhanced further by the Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon (Uo Uo no Mi, Seiryu) — a monster had been born.

"You're one of the extinction breeds too!"

Saint Saturn shattered Rayleigh's blade lock with his cane, then struck Shiki out of the air.

Horns sprouted from his head, and tentacle-like legs spread beneath him as he charged toward Sharn and Kuma.

"Go!"

"Sharn!"

Kuma would never forget that name.

A deafening roar tore through the battlefield.

As Saturn lunged forward, Sharn — now a black-scaled dragon — soared skyward. Flame-clouds coiled beneath him as he looked down on the chaos below.

"So, you're the one who ate that fruit," Kuma said, smiling in relief. "Good! That means it wasn't wasted."

With that, Kuma disappeared — wrapped in a shimmering air bubble as the Paw-Paw Fruit launched him from God Valley toward the South Blue.

The violet-black dragon glared down at Saint Saturn.

Shiki burst into laughter.

"Jihahahahaha! Look at you, old fossil — can't even keep up!"

His taunts only enraged Saturn further.

The elder stomped in fury — who could have guessed that the two he meant to kill would either fly away or vanish?

Then, another roar thundered across the island.

From the far side of the battlefield, Kaido — with Linlin's help — had devoured the Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon (Uo Uo no Mi, Seiryu). His massive body coiled skyward, transforming into a colossal dragon.

Blood still dripped from his claws — he'd clearly fought through hell to get here.

Two dragons — one black and one blue — now hung over God Valley.

The sky itself seemed to tremble.

"Who the hell is that?" Linlin gasped, standing atop the thundercloud Zeus, staring upward.

Two dragons? But Devil Fruits were supposed to be unique!

"Hey, Sis, did you give me a fake?" Kaido roared. The black dragon's lightning was too aggressive, too alive.

"Don't talk nonsense, Kaido! I saved your life, remember? Don't forget your debt!"

"Come with me — let's build a new pirate crew!"

Linlin wasn't leaving empty-handed. She needed Kaido's strength.

"No problem, Big Sis!" Kaido growled, his human form rippling with draconic power.

He felt his Oni blood and Zoan vitality merging — dragon scales forming the ultimate defense.

Not far away, Sharn — still testing his new form — began to grasp its strength. Unlike most Zoans, the Azure Dragon's flame-clouds were intrinsic to flight from the start.

"Hot Breath!"

He felt heat building in his throat — what was that sensation?

Then, he unleashed it.

A pillar of fire tore through the sky, slamming toward Saint Saturn.

The explosion lit up the heavens.

So this was the power of a Mythical Zoan — overwhelming from the moment it awakened.

Even Saturn's massive hybrid form was engulfed in flames.

"Sharn! That's your name, isn't it?! I'll rip you apart!"

Saturn's fury shook the air, but there was nothing he could do — his body was too sturdy for flames to harm, yet he was trapped between Shiki and Rayleigh's relentless assault.

"Hey, brat! Come join me!" Shiki shouted, grinning wide. "We'll make a Flying Pirate Crew! Unstoppable!"

"Careful," Rayleigh warned. "Shiki's not the kind you can trust."

"I plan to form my own crew," Sharn replied, smoke curling from his mouth.

The battlefield had gone mad.

Jabba's twin axes clashed with Silver Axe's massive blade.

Captain John was intercepted by Zephyr.

Sengoku's shockwave punch collided with Wang Zhi, who had merged into the island itself.

At the same time, Steel-Bone Kong in his prime faced off against Linlin, while Tsuru chased a cursing Miss Bakkin.

Rocks D. Xebec hunted Figarland Garling into a dead end.

Roger and Whitebeard were already crossing blows — two forces shaking heaven and earth.

"You're blocking my sky!" Garp leapt up, slamming his fist straight into the young Kaido's jaw.

"This is madness! Keep this up and God Valley will sink!"

Sharn shifted back into human form — staying a dragon made him too big a target.

Whirr!

The Demon Compass spun once more, pushing fate toward its next turning point…
