Whether it was the Lv.1 banner that had been available for over ten days or the newly refreshed Lv.2 banner, the soft pity for a 4-star item was reduced from 90 to 85 pulls thanks to his 'Luck I' ability.

Furthermore, the base drop rate for specified items had also increased slightly.

This meant Levi could obtain the items he needed with less Valis.

As for the tenfold increase in the cost of pulling on the Lv.2 banner, honestly, it didn't surprise him.

The higher the star rating of an item, the better its effect, and naturally, the more expensive it would be.

That was just common sense.

However, this meant that for the next half a month, he would need to step on the gas and farm as much money as possible. Otherwise, he might face the awkward situation of not even pulling a single desired four-star item before the event banner ended.

Despite this, Levi didn't immediately rush off to the Dungeon to get Valis.

He hadn't forgotten the promise he made with his goddess.

He immediately rolled over amidst the gasp of the person behind him, his voice deeper than usual as he asked, "Hestia, may I kiss you now?"

...

Because they had been at it all night.

It wasn't until nearly noon the next day that Levi and Hestia, who was lying in his arms, finally opened their eyes one after another.

"Good morning, my lady."

"Good morning, my knight."

Hestia clearly hadn't had enough of last night's role-playing game. After greeting him, she leaned in and planted a loud kiss on her child's cheek.

Having rested through the early morning and forenoon, Levi's energy had completely recovered.

Just as it seemed the two were about to spark a second great battle right then and there.

A knock suddenly sounded on the church's main door.

"..." x2

Two burning hearts were temporarily cooled by the unexpected visitor.

Levi took a deep breath, then patted Hestia's thigh. "Get up. Let's not keep our guest waiting too long."

The twin-tailed goddess pouted. "Alright."

Before getting up, she took a couple more deep sniffs of Levi.

About ten minutes later, a freshly changed Hestia pulled the door open.

The red-haired, one-eyed goddess who had been waiting outside came into view.

Noticing the slightly odd smell in the air, a mysterious smile crept onto Hephaestus's lips. "Hestia, it seems I've come at a bad time~"

If this had been before today, being teased like this by her friend would have probably made Hestia blush beet-red, at a loss for words.

But it was clear that while the difference between a maiden and a woman might seem like a small thing, inwardly, a world of change had already occurred.

At the very least, the blue-ribboned goddess, who was now well-acquainted with Levi's... endowments and quite satisfied with his performance, simply crossed her arms and sat casually on the back of a nearby pew.

"This is the first I've heard that you were such a gossip, Hephaestus."

"Oh, this isn't gossip," Hephaestus said, stepping into the church. "If anyone else found out that the Three Great Virgin Goddesses of Tenkai would be known as the Two Great Virgin Goddesses from today onward, especially those gods who live for drama, it would definitely cause quite a stir in Orario."

"Indeed." Mentioning those troublemakers who never did anything useful, Hestia couldn't help but show a helpless expression. But then her face turned serious. "Setting my business aside for a moment, you didn't suddenly come all the way over here just to poke fun at me, did you?"

Hephaestus didn't deny it. "I want to make a deal with you—or to be more precise, with your child."

"Speaking of which..." The red-haired goddess looked around. "Where is he?"

"In the kitchen," Hestia replied. "We both thought you were here to see me, so he used making lunch as an excuse to hide in the kitchen."

"You've found yourself a good househusband," Hephaestus said, half-joking and half-serious. "By the way, you don't mind if I stay for lunch, do you?"

Over forty minutes later, Levi, who had prepared a simple meal of four dishes and a soup, watched as the red-haired goddess across from him dug into her food. He wasn't in a hurry to ask questions, instead focusing on putting more food onto the plate of Hestia, who sat beside him.

Although the twin-tailed goddess was a little shy, she had no intention of refusing her beloved's kind gestures.

And so, two completely different scenes unfolded in the small basement space.

On one side was Hephaestus, utterly fascinated as she tasted food from another world—or rather, food made with different culinary techniques—for the first time.

On the other side was the idiotic couple, occasionally holding hands or feeding each other bites.

It's a good thing gods are mostly self-centered. A normal person would probably have lost their patience long ago and cursed them for being such a sappy couple.

A few more minutes passed like this.

Hephaestus patted her stomach, which showed no signs of bulging, a look of satisfaction on her face. "It's been a long time since I've eaten so much. Hestia, now I understand why I haven't seen you around lately. If my children had Levi's cooking skills, I'd stay holed up in our home base every day too."

"Of course! He's my Levi, after all." Hestia placed her hands on her hips, her slightly raised face filled with pride.

As for Levi, who was well aware of his own culinary limits, he just smiled at the compliment. Seeing that their guest had finished eating, he finally asked in a calm voice, "So, Lady Hephaestus, what are the specific details of the deal you wanted to make with me?"
