Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: The Hidden Village, Chakra, and the Dance of the Sharingan

I. A Leap into the Ninja World

The team emerged from the portal, landing heavily in a vast and silent grove. The energy in the air was vibrant, but in a way very different from Magic or Ki.

"Environmental analysis: The energy in this plane is based on the manipulation of combined physical and spiritual energy. They call it Chakra. The density of users of this energy is extremely high, and I detect a network of seals and techniques covering the landscape," Kaguya reported, using a tone of caution she rarely employed.

Goku smiled, raising his fists. "Wow! Everyone here has their Ki hidden really well! It's like they're using it to do incredible things!"

Megumin looked at a large monument in the distance: a cliff carved with the faces of ancestral leaders. Her mind immediately went to work. "A structure that large, carved into the rock. Could it withstand my Explosion? I'll have to find out."

"That is the Hidden Leaf Village, Konoha," said Erza, already on guard. "The monument must be the Hokage Rock. And Kaguya, where is the Anchor?"

"The Dimensional Anchor is right in that monument, embedded in the rock. A strong concentration of Chakra and seals keeps it hidden. That must be our goal," Kaguya replied.

Tatsumaki, floating lazily, complained. "These little ninjas have such insignificant Ki. It's almost offensive. I'll crush that mountain the moment we get there."

II. Interruption of a Secret Mission

As the team prepared to move forward, the air filled with a thundering sound. At high speed, a man in a black cloak with red clouds appeared in the clearing. He was being pursued by a group of Konoha ninjas.

The man in the cloak was Kisame Hoshigaki, the Monster of the Hidden Mist, a member of Akatsuki.

Kisame stopped, sensing that the intruders were stronger than the Konoha ninjas.

"Well, well. What do we have here? More idiots wanting to play hero?" Kisame raised his sword, Samehada, which vibrated with a hunger for Chakra.

The second member of Akatsuki appeared silently. It was Itachi Uchiha, the rogue genius. His eyes, normally cold, registered every detail: Megumin's explosive aura, Tatsumaki's psychic strength, Erza's steadfastness, Kaguya's technology, and Goku's overwhelming Ki.

Itachi subtly activated his Sharingan.

Goku, oblivious to the danger, laughed excitedly. "Wow! What cool clothes! And your energy is so different!"

"They aren't from this dimension, Kisame," Itachi said, his voice a chilled whisper. "The man in orange... his power is pure Ki, without Chakra. An Omega-Class anomaly."

Kisame prepared for an attack. "I don't care! If they have that much energy, Samehada will be delighted! Water Style: Great Shark Bullet Jutsu!"

An immense wave of water, shaped like a monstrous Chakra shark, lunged toward the team. It was an attack capable of destroying an entire forest.

Goku acted. Not with a Kamehameha, but with a simple Kiai (Ki shout) charged with a fraction of his power. The invisible wave of pure Ki collided with the Chakra shark and completely disintegrated it, scattering the water as if it were steam.

Kisame stood frozen, and for the first time, Itachi showed an expression of genuine surprise.

"Disintegrating a pure Chakra jutsu with a shout?" Kisame muttered.

"Incredible! What a cool way to use water!" Megumin shouted, pointing her staff at the scattered water. "But it's not an Explosion! It's just very strong water!"

III. Genjutsu and Speed

Itachi, without hesitation, realized the group was too dangerous for a direct confrontation. He needed to immobilize them. His eyes, the Sharingan, spun, and he focused his gaze on Goku.

"Genjutsu: Tsukuyomi!" The goal wasn't to trap Goku in an illusion of torture, but to immobilize him for a millisecond.

Goku felt a sudden force trying to invade his mind, showing strange and painful visions. The Genjutsu, which attacked the nervous system through Chakra, was a completely new technique.

"Ow! I feel a weird pressure in my brain!" Goku exclaimed, blinking.

But Goku's mind—accustomed to the psychic training of King Kai and resisting the influence of powerful divine beings—was too simple and pure for the Genjutsu. What should have been a millisecond of mental paralysis felt like a slight itch.

Tatsumaki, however, saw the shift in the mental atmosphere. She was furious.

"Nobody messes with the orange idiot but me!" Tatsumaki launched a blast of psychic power directly at Itachi.

Itachi didn't expect the counteroffensive of pure energy. He leapt backward to avoid being crushed by gravity. The ground where he had been standing sank, forming a perfect crater.

Erza, seeing the opening, shouted. "Goku, the Anchor! Kaguya!"

"Yes! The commotion has destabilized the protection seals on the Hokage Monument. It's now or never," said Kaguya.

Goku, freed from the mental itch, focused on the monument.

"Sorry, cool ninjas! We've gotta go!"

IV. The Explosive Goodbye

Goku used Instant Transmission. The team vanished from the clearing, reappearing on top of the Hokage Monument, right on the face of the Fourth Hokage, where Kaguya detected the Dimensional Ki.

Below, Itachi and Kisame tracked them instantly. Kisame was ready to launch another jutsu, but Megumin stepped forward.

"I've been offended! My magic is the only thing that deserves such a prominent face!" Megumin shouted, pointing her staff at the stone face of the Fourth Hokage. "EXPLOSIOOOOON!!"

It wasn't the Annihilator-level Explosion she had used in the world of Douluo Dalu, but a (relatively) controlled Explosion that impacted only the stone face and the Anchor's seal.

The stone exploded in a chaos of dust and reddish light. The Dimensional Anchor was released with a massive pulse of energy, opening a swirling portal right above the carved heads.

Itachi, Kisame, and the Konoha ninjas following them watched the scene with horror.

"They're destroying the Hokage monument!" a Konoha ninja screamed.

"The explosive power is pure Mana. It isn't Chakra. It's dimensional magic!" Itachi said, activating his Mangekyō Sharingan to try and halt the chaos.

Goku laughed out loud, stepping into the portal with the rest of the team. "What great training! I hope we can fight later!"

"You're not getting away!" Kisame yelled, jumping.

But it was too late. The team had vanished into the portal, leaving behind a shocked Konoha, a pillar of smoke over the Hokage monument, and Itachi Uchiha, observing the crater with unprecedented intensity.

"A threat that transcends dimensions and Chakra. A new variable," Itachi murmured, his Akatsuki mission forgotten for now, concentrating on the man in orange and his chaotic team.
