Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Heroes, Villains, and Quirk Power

I. Landing on Hero Day

The dimensional portal spat the team out violently over a vast, technologically advanced metropolis. They tumbled into the middle of a busy intersection during a moment of total chaos. Massive video screens broadcasted news about Pro Heroes, and people were running and screaming.

"Environmental analysis: High population and technological density world! The air lacks the concentration of Ki or Mana seen in other planes. The dominant energy, the Quirk, is an individual genetic manifestation. Most people have extremely low Ki, but that Ki transforms into a unique ability when the Quirk manifests," Kaguya reported, as a dozen surveillance drones closed in on their position.

Goku stood up, taking in the immense cityscape. "Wow! Look at those tall buildings! And the people are so noisy! I can feel tiny bursts of energy coming from everyone! Why are they fighting with their powers if their Ki is so low?"

Erza requipped her Purgatory Armor, her brow furrowed. "They aren't warriors. They are... professionals who use their abilities to maintain peace. Look."

A massive villain, utilizing a transformation Quirk, was wreaking havoc while several Pro Heroes confronted him.

"A chaos factory! My kind of place!" Megumin shouted, pointing her staff at the nearest skyscraper. "A perfectly rectangular target!"

Tatsumaki, however, floated above the street, sensing the low energy output of the inhabitants. "They're annoying. Their concept of 'power' is ridiculously weak. I pray the Anchor isn't in a school."

"Unfortunately, the Anchor is concentrated within a unique energy facility, protected by a Quirk force field. Identification: U.A. High School," Kaguya confirmed, pointing toward a building with a distinctive design not far from their position.

"The Hero School! It's time for an Explosion!" Megumin cheered.

II. The First Clash: Bakugo

Before they could advance, a figure lunged at them, landing with a controlled explosion. It was Katsuki Bakugo, a hero student from Class 1-A. His hero costume, complete with giant grenade gauntlets and a furious expression, was unmistakable.

Bakugo had witnessed their sudden appearance and noted the lack of "hero uniforms" or "villain gear" on the group.

"Hey, extras! I don't know where you crawled out from, but the fight is over there! If you're villains, beat it before I blow you to pieces! And if you're civilians, run, extras!"

"Extras! He called us extras!" Tatsumaki shrieked, her psychic power forming a turbulent green aura around her.

"How rude! He needs an Explosion to learn how to respect his elders!" Megumin retorted.

Goku smiled, raising his hands. "Hey! Take it easy, explosion boy! We're just passing through! Your Quirk is really cool! Does it feel like you're igniting your Ki in your hands?"

Bakugo flew into a rage at the insolence. No one—no one—talked about his explosions like they were child's play.

"Shut up, stupid face! Don't talk to me about my Quirk! AP Shot!"

Bakugo launched a concentrated blast from his palm. The surge was powerful, with enough force to pierce a steel wall.

Erza intervened immediately. Before the blast could reach Goku, she instantly requipped into her Adamantine Armor, built for maximum defense. The impact of the explosion didn't leave a single scratch on the armor, though the force pushed Erza back a few meters.

"Such explosive power! But the force is surprisingly superficial!" Erza remarked, already switching back to her Heaven's Wheel Armor.

Bakugo stood frozen, his eyes wide. His strongest blast had done nothing.

"What?! What kind of Quirk is that?! Where did you get that armor?!"

III. A Demonstration of Strength

Tatsumaki had had enough. She wasn't in the mood for noisy heroes.

"That's enough. I'm going to cool his temper," Tatsumaki said.

With a simple flick of her hand, the air around Bakugo turned dense. An invisible, overwhelming gravitational force crushed him, forcing him to his knees. Bakugo struggled with all his might, but he couldn't move a single finger. His sparks flickered out, unable to even shift his hands.

"Damn it! What is this?! My body won't move! Is it a Gravity Quirk?!"

"It's not a Quirk," Tatsumaki said with disdain. "It's my mind. You're loud. Now, be quiet."

Down below, the rest of the city, including the Pro Heroes, noticed the sudden cessation of Bakugo's activity and the green aura surrounding the short-haired woman.

Goku, seeing the chance to leave before things got complicated with more heroes, placed two fingers on his forehead.

"Bye, explosion boy! You have a really cool Quirk! But we have to get to the school!"

"The school?! Wait, you damn villains!" Bakugo yelled, though his voice was muffled by the psychic pressure.

IV. The Target: U.A.

Goku used Instant Transmission. The team appeared right outside the immense gates of U.A. High School.

"The Anchor is inside, Kaguya!" Erza said.

"Yes. But the entrance is protected by a Level 5 Quirk Barrier security system. It would take an Apocalypse-class attack to breach it," Kaguya noted.

Megumin didn't let her finish the sentence. Her eyes were already glowing with ecstasy.

"Apocalypse-class! You said the magic words, Kaguya! A target protected by science! A school of 'Heroes'! This is an honor! The most glorious strike of our saga!"

Megumin raised her ebony staff, her red cloak billowing from the magical energy beginning to pool around her.

"Listen well, 'Heroes' of this world! Explosion Magic is the only truth! And now, behold the annihilation of your technology!"

Goku grinned, stepping back alongside Erza and Kaguya. "This is gonna be a big one!"

Tatsumaki simply hovered, ready to use her telekinesis to shield Megumin if any heroes attacked.

"EXPLOSIOOOOON!!!"

The blast struck the Level 5 U.A. Quirk Barrier. The sound was deafening; a crimson flash enveloped the entire front of the school. The explosion didn't just destroy the barrier—it created a seismic shockwave that resonated throughout the city.

The Dimensional Anchor, hidden in the school's energy core, was struck by the impact of pure magic. A gigantic portal tore open, swirling with Dimensional Ki light.

Goku gave the thumbs up. "Time to go!"

The team sprinted toward the portal, leaving behind a chaos of wailing alarms, smoking debris, and professional heroes and students—including a furious Bakugo—staring at the disaster in absolute horror.
