Ana's POV
I had no interest in wasting more time on Ridley and Aileen's nonsense, so I moved toward the elevator with the manager.
Ridley's face grew darker, his expression turning stormy. Just as I was about to enter the elevator, he lunged forward and yanked me back. "Ana, you're not going anywhere today!"
The thought of me meeting another man right in front of him clearly ate at him. Fury radiated from every inch of his body.
I could sense his barely contained urge to follow me upstairs and confront whoever was waiting there.
I fought against his grip, trying to wrench my hand free, but he was too strong. My struggles were useless.
He dragged me toward the exit, and I stumbled behind him in my heels, nearly falling several times.
"Let go of me, Ridley!" I yelled.
His voice was ice-cold as he replied, "Get out of here before I really lose it."
