They had fallen into a cavern.

More precisely… into an ant nest.

This place was far beyond the boundaries of the underground bunker—a true subterranean space carved out by ants.

The nest was larger than the warehouse and the underground hall combined, vast as a sports stadium.

The people who had stumbled into it felt as though they had walked into a grand palace.

And presiding over this palace, unmoving on its supreme throne, was the absolute ruler of the colony—

The Queen.

A gigantic, white, bloated creature.

Calling it "gigantic" almost didn't do it justice.

The queen towered over the cavern like a monolithic pillar of flesh.

Its upper body still vaguely resembled a normal ant—barely identifiable as a Bloodscythe Ant.

But everything below the waist—everything past the petiole—had transformed into pure swollen flesh.
