Chapter 3 - chapter 3

Camila and Jack stepped right in front of Jay.

Camila folded her arms and sneered. "This place isn't for people like you. A loser who can't afford even a single piece here without saving for months."

Jay didn't flinch. "I can go wherever I want. That's none of your concern."

He lifted the luxurious bag he'd just bought. "And I am buying things here. I even bought this gift for your friend."

Sonia blushed slightly, hugging her new bag.

Jack laughed, shaking his head. "You bought the lowest product in this store." He turned to Camila, sliding an arm around her waist. "Come, baby. I'll buy you something that actually matches your status."

They walked to the counter. Jack picked a designer bag worth $35,000. Camila's face lit up—she looked at Jay with an expression that called him trash without her saying a single word.

But Jay simply nodded and stepped forward.

"Excuse me," he said to the cashier. "I'll take this one too."

He pointed at a bag priced at $40,000.

Sonia's eyes widened. So did Camila's and Jack's.

Jay paid calmly and handed the bag to Sonia.

Inside his head:

> [You spent $40,000 on a woman. Double cashback granted: $80,000.]

Jack clenched his jaw. "So, you want to compete with me? Your pocket money is probably your entire family's annual income."

Jay met his eyes. "It's my money. I'll spend it how I choose. But if you want a competition—fine. Let's see who's the loser."

Jack smirked. "Then follow me. Camila and I are going to the dressing center."

Sonia stood frozen for a moment—dazed, overwhelmed—but she quickly followed Jay like a shadow.

They entered the luxury clothing boutique. Jack and Camila walked hand-in-hand, selecting high-end dresses. Jay leaned toward Sonia and whispered, "Pick something more expensive than theirs."

Sonia nodded and disappeared into the racks.

Ten minutes later, Jack and Camila returned with a dress. Jack paid.

Price: $60,000

Camila tossed her hair and looked at Jay triumphantly. "Can you even touch something like this?"

Jay didn't answer.

Because just then, Sonia returned.

She held a breathtaking, shimmering evening gown—so elegant that even Camila's eyes widened with jealousy.

Price: $80,000

Jay paid without blinking.

> [You spent $80,000 on a woman. Double cashback granted: $160,000.]

[Sonia: Affection +10]

Jack's face twitched. His arrogant smile was cracking.

Camila grabbed his arm. "Let's go to the jewelry shop. I want earrings."

Jack swallowed but nodded.

They entered the boutique sparkling with diamonds. Camila selected a pair of earrings worth $120,000.

Jack forced a smile while paying, but his hands trembled.

Sonia looked at Jay silently, waiting.

Jay pointed toward a pair of stunning earrings. Even more expensive.

Price: $160,000

Jay bought them instantly and handed them to Sonia.

> [You spent $160,000 on a woman. Double cashback: $320,000]

[Sonia: Affection +5]

Jack's fists clenched so hard his knuckles turned white. Camila's smile finally cracked, her eyes narrowing in disbelief.

Sonia, wearing her new jewelry and holding luxury bags, stood beside Jay with a rising mix of excitement and admiration.

Jay looked at Jack calmly.

The tables had turned.
