HEARTFILIA'S POV
I was busy fixing up what was to be my new room when that annoying pest walked in. I knew immediately who it was-none other than the Lunkhead.
"What did you do to my room?!" he shouted the moment he stepped into his old room.
I ignored him; first, I put up the Hello Kitty curtains before I looked at him.
"I'm decorating it," I replied flatly, giving him a smile. I could see the irritation on his face. *Just a little more, Heartfilia. Just a little more teasing.*
"What do you think I am, a girl? Why would you replace my bedsheets with this Hello Kitty crap?!" he shouted again, to which I just smiled.
Go ahead and scream your lungs out-as for me, mission accomplished with respect.
I had fun doing the decorating. If I were him, he'd also be cleaning up his future room.
I was startled as he grabbed my arm, as it was very tight; with that, I winced because he gripped even tighter.
The anger was evident in his eyes. I lifted an eyebrow to him. I should not let him win.
*You can do this, Heartfilia. You two are enemies, right? Don't let him defeat you! Fight!*
"Are you going to change it, or are you going to get hurt?!" he demanded loudly. I couldn't answer right then because my arm really hurt.
I was getting irritated, so I gave him a fierce look and pushed him. He released my arm and fell on the floor.
"You have no right to hurt me!" I yelled, holding my arm that was already turning red.
That hurt-he's unbelievable. What's so bad about making a boring dark room look good? It's like a vampire's prison!
"If you don't want to get hurt, stop meddling with my things," he replied coldly.
"If you don't like the design of the room, then sleep outside! Who do you think you are-I'm going to tell your mommy so she can smack you!"
Is he the guy the girls in school go crazy about? The f\*ck. His attitude sucks! If it weren't for our blasted company, I wouldn't be marrying this guy!
My life is precious, and I don't want to die from stress!
"You've got some nerve! I'm the one who has to leave? Just so you know—this is my room!" he shrieked.
"Well, excuse me? It was your room. It's *my* room now. If you want, you can go to the other room. Don't tell me to leave—I'd be sad after cleaning this whole place. How shameless! Get out! Or maybe I'll feed you to my Hello Kitties!" I answered with my hands on my hips.
He gave a nasty look, kicked a cardboard box, and then stormed out, slamming the door shut after he had left.
That serves you right, lunkhead. You're a jerk. That hurt so much. You'll get yours someday.
I continued decorating, throwing his alarm clock in the trash and replacing it with my Hello Kitty alarm clock. I threw my teddy bear onto the bed. Finally, after everything was done, I collapsed onto my soft bed.
"Hays… finally finished," I muttered, staring at the ceiling.
I sat up quickly when my phone rang, and it was the **gay best friend.
"Hel—"
"You witch! Why did it take you so long to answer?!" he screamed. I squeezed my eyes shut-my eardrums were about to burst.
"What do you want?" I asked rudely.
"We are outside of your and your 'husband's' house. Come out, we're going out!" he said, with equal rudeness.
"Huh? What are you doing here?!" I ran to the window-and there they were, those crazy people.
"Well, are you coming out, or should we come in?" he asked irritably. I scowled.
"I'm coming out, already. You're a pain. I'm going to make you bald, you gay best friend—"
What a jerk! He hung up on me.
I grabbed my bag and ran out of the room—I ran right into the lunkhead.
"Oh, where are you going?" he asked. What does he care about?
"To the bathroom. You want to join me?" I retorted.
"I hope you get flushed down the toilet so you disappear from my life," he snapped. *Luh, is this guy gay?*
"In your dreams!" I walked past him. I went out of the house, slamming the door when I got downstairs.
"Hey, gay best friend, you slammed that door pretty hard, huh?" Nicole asked.
"Let him wake up to reality. Since he came into my life, everything's been a mess!" I replied, exasperated.
"You're so lucky, girl, handsome, rich, smart, and strong sex appeal," she smiled. I only raised an eyebrow at her. I'm going to bang her head against something.
All that chap has inside his skull is air-his is completely arrogant.
They pulled me along, and we got in the car.
"Wow, you're enemies at school, then you get married, and now you're living together in one house? The perfect enemies-to-lovers trope!" the gay best friend teased.
"Look, I win again. I changed his old room into Hello Kitty style—and his nose was fuming. But gay best friend, look at my arm." I showed them—it was still very red.
"What did that guy do to you?! Oh, he's hurting you now? Come on, I'm going to sexually assault him so that—"
He couldn't finish because Nicole punched him. I laughed.
"Ouch!" he almost cried.
"You heartless gay best friend! Your mouth has been running all day! You're pushing it!" Nicole shouted.
They exchanged dirty looks. I was in the front and they were in the back, good thing they weren't sitting next to each other or it might turn into a world war.
"You're quiet, Filia," they said as we walked through the mall.
"It's nothing," I smiled. I guess I was just tired.
"We're not used to you being like this," the gay best friend cut in.
"Do you have a problem?" she asked again.
"I do-my company needs money so I can get out of this cursed life." It was true.
"Come on, let's not think about that for now. We're here to have fun!" he suddenly cheered.
I shook my head-I know he can't help me with money issues, but it was still okay. At least they were here.
"Seriously, Filia, are you okay?" Nicole asked again.
"No. Who would be okay in my situation? All we do is fight. We're enemies in everything, and now we're living under the same roof. Hello? And on top of that-we're married!"
"Fate sure has a sense of humor, always bringing you two together," the gay best friend said amidst laughter.
"I won't lose to him. I won't let him replace me as Top one," I said seriously. He only replaced me once—that won't happen again.
"That's our friend who never gives up! Just tell us your problem, and we're here for you," Nicole said.
I hugged her tightly. I am so lucky to have such friends.

JHARIED'S POV
I entered our hang-out spot, having a burning rage. It was Saturday, so all the fools were here.
"Hey, Jharied, you look like heaven and earth just fell on you!" Rey joked.
"That woman is so annoying! She replaced everything in my room! Guess what, the design is Hello Kitty! That witch!" I said fuming.
The idiots just laughed.
"That's normal for a girl," Zander laughed. Is she a girl? Hello Kitty at her age?
"Dude, your wife is super girly," Alex added, still laughing uncontrollably.
"She's really infuriating! She even had the guts to yell at me, saying she'd feed me to her Hello Kitties! She'll get what's coming to her!" I fired back, irritated.
"Relax, man, she's just a girl. Cool down. There's a girl outside looking for you," Arman said.
"I'm not in the mood. I might do something crazy because of how mad that short girl makes me!" She's really a pain. Out of all the girls I could be forced to marry-it had to be her?!
"Take it easy, man; for the first time, you have trouble with a woman. Is she your karma?" Alex laughed.
"My karma hasn't been born yet," I replied coldly. They laughed again.
"Seriously! Hello Kitty! The f\*ck, bro!" Rey added.
"So, are you going to lose to the missus?" Arman asked.
"Me? Lose? Psh. No way. We'll see how good she is," I answered. These losers were all ganging up on me.
"Seems like the conversation is getting serious?", said the newcomer, Lara Velasco.
"Hey! Welcome back!" they shouted.
"Oh, Jharied. How's married life? Are you finally going to settle down?" she asked.
"As if," I said briefly.
"What's news, besides Jharied getting married?" she asked again.
"Are we going to be godparents already?" chorused the other girls who had just arrived.
"The leader of Black Shadow is back," Rey said in a serious tone.
"Oh, nice," said Lara.
"Idiot, they're no longer Black Shadow but Black Dragon," Arman interjected.
"When do you guys plan on attacking?" Kris asked.
"We're not attacking. They are," Alex said.
"Our other enemies are quiet now. I guess they've lost hope," Kara smirked.
I stopped paying attention to them. All I was thinking about was how I was going to get rid of that girl in my house. There is no way she could continue there, and this made me annoyed even more.
What if I beat her home? I'll lock her out. I smirked.
"I'm going home," I announced. I didn't wait for them. I ran out, got into my car right away, and took off.
As soon as I got home, I closed all the doors. I locked every possible entrance.
I went straight to the room.
You can scream and knock all you want. As if anybody's gonna open it.
Because of her: I can't bring girls home. I can't do the things I used to do. She's always telling me to the old lady. Ever since she got here, my life has been a mess!!
"Hey, you lunkhead! Open this door! Wake up, you jerk! I hope you have nightmares, you lunkhead! Open the door!!"
