Chapter 37 - Can You Read Minds

At the casino table, the middle-aged man was sitting with the manager, who was making tea for him, somewhat deferentially.

The middle-aged man looked at the subordinate patrolling the casino and asked, "It's been twenty minutes, hasn't that guy lost all his money yet?"

The subordinate in charge of watching Tobby leaned in and said, "Third Boss, this guy's luck is unbelievably good."

The middle-aged man was addressed as Third Boss, and he paused his action of drinking tea: "How much has he won?"

"He's already won ten thousand."

"That's not a problem. Winning ten thousand from a hundred thousand is very difficult. Which table is he at?"

"Table 22, the dice table."

The Third Boss heavily set down his teacup: "Send someone who knows how to roll dice."

The subordinate nodded.

Meanwhile, at table 22, I was still seated, with more than a dozen people standing behind me. Elizabeth Campbell shouted at the crowd, "Hey, don't push."
