In the Car, Natasha was gobbling sandwich and drinking coke with relish, seeing Natasha's ravenous eating , Hawkeye glanced at Natasha's from time to time , he couldn't help but wonder if Natasha posses any delicate quality of young women.
Seeing Hawkeye's thoughtful look with slight curve on his lips ,Natasha couldn't help but poke him;
'' What are you thinking Barton? what do you find funny , tell me so that I can be enlightened as well?''
Hawkeye chuckled,'' Nothing , You don't evince delicate qualities of woman ,right na...''
'' I have long suppressed my desires , only food can make me alive '', said Natasha indifferently .
Seeing Natasha's indifferent face , Hawkeye suddenly felt guilty;
''Nat I didn't mean that ''.
Seeing Hawkeye's guilty look , Natasha couldn't help but want to tease him;
'' Barton you really hurt me , the next treat should be on you to cheer my little heart''.
Hearing Natsha's teasing Barton chuckled and said generously;
'' No problem , Tonight's dinner is on me''.
''Oh! look Barton , I forgot to report , let's report to fury first ''.
Then they went to Natasha's home , tidied themselves and went to report today's gain to fury .
Soon Fury's face appeared on the video call , he was currently in his office reviewing the reports sent by the various teams regarding any situation related to supernatural phenomena. As he was reading the report , he received an incoming call on his private line, known only to few.
Looking at the caller ID ,fury thought to himself;
'It seems one of them has made their first contact'.
Setting aside the reports , Fury pressed a button under the desk to ensure total privacy. Once he was satisfied , he answered the call.
''Agent Romanoff and Barton , if you're calling me this early into your mission then you'd better be damn well sure that it's to report some good news'', announced Fury.
'' Wouldn't dream of doing otherwise sir. Are you so sure sir ? ''Natasha enquired, to which she received a humourless reply.
'' You think I'd be answering this call if I weren't ?Now, report.''
'' Or maybe we should just play dead !'', chimed Hawkeye from side .
'' Ya you can try, otherwise we have to recruit your partner barton'', said Fury with meaningful smile.
Hearing this Barton's face turned ugly and he pretended to take a nap , seeing this both Natasha and Fury chuckled , and Fury finally looked at Natasha solemnly because he understood that the person who made contact with the owner of cafe is probably Natasha.
''Reporting . Based on the mission parameters. I have successfully completed the initial stages of the mission.'' Natasha began
'' On arrival at the location , I noticed a priority target exiting the premises. The personal assistant of Tony Stark , Virginia Potts. It would seem that she is frequent customer and good friend of Cafe Owner of Morgan Family and I had observed the cafe owner personally escorting Ms Potts out of the cafe , it seems they have deep friendship, at which the Ms Potts had given the owner a hug just before she left.''
Hearing the beginning of the report , Fury was not surprised. From the diary entry it can be confirmed that KB is enjoying his leisurely life and being hands off shopkeeper ,he particularly speculated that in order to get close to Tony. Fury surmised that being members of the Avengers in the parallel world, it is likely that KB and Tony were friends , if not colleagues.
In that case ,KB is either here to reconnect ,or to establish a relationship with tony in order to get Tony's help. For what purpose , Fury did not know.
Continuing her report.
''Walking into the cafe , I noticed that the place was buzzing with activity . But even while that was so, I was still met with a homely and warm atmosphere instead of what was to be expected from a busy cafe .
Sir , From what I could gather from my first interaction with the target , I believe that the contents of the diary are true and that the target is unaware of our knowledge yet was aware of are presence .
When the Target first laid eyes on me , I initially notice a flash of shock , recognition and finally nostalgia in the looks of his eyes. However , during our conversation , I noticed a deeper emotion that he tried to hide , sorrow. This final emotion had led me to confirm my theory .
If the diary is true , it is easy to guess why these emotions had appeared. Shock at seeing that I have appeared suddenly, recognition and nostalgia at seeing a familiar face, and lastly sorrow in seeing someone who had died before the target's own time had come.'' Natasha concluded
Picking up the final statement , Fury asked ;
'' So you believe that it was you?''
''It had to be. It appears that I am one of the ones who died before the world met its end. 'Natasha remarked , her voice tinged with sorrow and resignation.
Undeterred , Fury pressed on.'' What else did you find out?
Taking a moment to gather herself , Natasha carried on her report .
'' From my initial assessment , the target is born leader. To supplement my claim from the attitude of the employees and of the atmosphere of the cafe in general , I can conclude that he exudes charisma , and with his mischievous and amiable behaviour makes the people around him feel a sense of security, where they feel ,peace welcomed and valued.
Despite his position as one of the richest man in the current world alongside Stark , he fosters a sense of familial bond among his employees, creating a supportive environment within the cafe. He not only possess high intellect but also high emotional intelligence , he knows how to convince anyone , and to bring the situation under his control , this not only makes him qualified leader but also let us understand his control over the situation . This makes him extremely dangerous.
This quality of him not only makes him extremely capable but also a qualified politician . I guess he just knows how deep the secrets go . As the target was a previous Avenger and worked with many agent of our shield , we can assume that he has seen just how ugly the world truly is . He has the capacity to separate his kinder side from the more demanding aspect of our line of work . However I summarise that he would be unable to order his subordinates to do the same.
Furthermore , it is possible that the target has had the same training , if not higher , than that of myself and clint .It was brought to attention by one of the staff that the target would often be found in a specific location within the cafe as it had the best view.
When I observed that location, I saw that was indeed true . It was the perfect location to be in, in the event of an emergency within the cafe or outside the cafe , without being hindered by any obstacles surrounding him should he need to make a quick response . The location also provided a line of sight to the areas within the cafe , and a large view of area outside .
Furthermore , during my interview with the target , I had noticed how his eyes, while trained on me , were discreetly observing his surroundings. I believe he can easily handle me and clint if the situation gets out of control.
And the way he carried himself as he interacted with his surroundings showed a hint of nonchalance and confidence in his abilities .
All things considered sir , my initial assessment would be that he would not pose a security threat for us ,as it can be assumed that he attaches a great importance to his family and friends, & familiar faces like myself and clint , as being reborn in this universe . Speaking of his fortitude it can be considered extremely solid , as we can see his actions through his time as president leading morgan group . His will to keep moving forward and desire to protect humanity demonstrates his spirit.
But from this we can also conclude that he often suffers from anxiousness and nightmare's which he stabilizes by playing the music from the flute. So in order to further assess his mental state , I will need more time before I can confirm further sir.''
Natasha finally concluded her full report .
Taking a moment of analyse and weighing his options , Fury gave his order;
'' Very well , continue to monitor him . while on the surface it would be easy to trust and believe in the diary , and subsequently in Mr Morgan , my gut is telling me that there is something more to him.
Something he is not showing . Agent Romanoff , exercise extreme caution . I want him tested on his sense of morality and to see if he is hiding any secrets .'' Furry said believing his gut .

In Alexander Pierce office,
Pierce and Sitwell were coming from the elevator and discussing the issues regarding hydra , Sitwell reported many things as they walked towards the cabin, just as they opened the door they stumbled back , they stood still , though they managed their facial expressions , they were panicking in their heart , their vigilance rose to extreme , because they saw a hooded being sitting on Pierce's office chair , They were frightened because they couldn't analyse other party at all , the other party's face was shrouded in darkness because the midday sun beat down on the street , making the asphalt shimmer , but the being in front is untouched by its warmth.
The hooded being looked at them with his dark and cruel gaze speaking hoarsely;
'' You are Pierce right , one of the leader of Hydra , who tends to rule the world , I am slave of the ''Reaper'' from temple of chaos , I came here to make a deal with you .''
'' Temple of chaos never heard of it ?'' inquired Pierce feeling puzzled .
He know most of the forces in the world be it hidden , because as one of the leader of hydra its his responsibility to gather various intelligence regarding various forces on the earth , due to everything to follow by their plans and not getting caught off - guard.
The hooded being chuckled ,'' You mortals , their are many things you don't know in this universe , I was specially assigned by the king to approach you and help in your mission .
'' But why beings like you need our help? . Pressed Sitwell further.
'' Because the essence of you and us are same , we need your help because soon the messenger will descend to this world , in order to find the destined one .''
'' But what kind of help we can offer you ? '' , asked Pierce Puzzledly.
'' You only need to provide us with negative energy generated by emotions of you humans, like their cry of despair , revenge or death of any loved one , any of this emotions when in extreme produces a special type of energy . And then direct that energy to special anchor point . The anchor point can be anywhere , I give you full freedom to choose the location of anchor point ,'' said hooded being arrogantly without considering other party's feelings.
Pierce and Sitwell both looked at each other , and they both understood they were the weaker party , so they accepted their fate readily .
Pierce took a step forward and asked in cautious tone;
''Though we are relatively developed and possess good strength , but we are not invincible on this earth , so can we .....?''
The hooded man understood the meaning in Pierce's eyes and looked at them with disdain , he waved his hand and two boxes appeared in Pierce's hand, he looked at them scornfully and said,'' These boxes are made of energy of space containing a small dimension which contain numerous stimulant , eating this you can gain strength of a superhero on earth and may awaken a special abilities ,& you can easily defeat heroes like Captain....what ...?
''Captain America'' , interjected Sitwell.
'' Ya Captain America , you only have 5 years , afterwards we will take matters in our own hands and attack your planet , so be ready for consequences if you couldn't complete your mission ".
'' What happens if we couldn't complete our mission ?'', asked Pierce cautiously .
'' Then our messenger will destroy everything on this planet including you , if you complete we will only destroy 70% population and suck this planet's core", said the hooded being casually .
They both looked at each other and they both could see the shock in their eyes , immediately cold sweat broke down on their foreheads and their backs immediately turned cold , the hooded being walked past them towards the door and suddenly whispered ,'' I hope you can complete your mission and not disappoint us'', saying this he vanished without trace .
Pierce and Sitwell stood rooted to their spot for a moment , then acted as if this day was complete normal for them , but they knew in their heart that a big storm may descend on this planet.
