Chapter 2 - CHAPTER-1 ( A DAWN OF NEW WORLD )

For a decade I, widely recognized as Lucifer, the Devil or the evil entity experienced a kind of unease. I became tired of my position, which entailed steering humans away from their path while also understanding their intrinsic flaws. They violated Gods commandments. Sinned. They killed each other without any instigation from me. It was so distressing that I felt I could suffocate. I constantly longed for something, beyond.

"Ah, what a life " I murmured, my voice resonating through the void of my thoughts. "Let's inject some thrill into existence. Let's take on a form and live among them. Let's see who spots me initially." Thus I ventured down to the world wearing a facade.

I didn't get a glimpse of the sun that day in Tokyo. From a bench I observed high school students as they moved through the rain. They dashed to cover to stay dry. A boy named Akira spotted me. He saw me sitting alone without an umbrella and his face quickly changed to one of worry. He offered me his umbrella. I felt the flicker of his interest.

"Hey, you! Don't you notice? It's raining cats and dogs there " Akira said softly his voice filled with warmth. "Why not take my umbrella? I'd be happy to walk you if you want." I looked at him a mix of doubt and slight amusement playing across my features.

"Oh you see me?" I exclaimed with a voice of surprise. "You really see me? I thought I went unnoticed by humans." Akira gazed intently into my eyes. I detected a spark of recognition. "The name's Lucifer " I said with a smile. "You might recognize me as – Devil, Satan or just the embodiment of evil. Since you are the one who has spotted me I am giving you this rule book. Be sure to go over it."

Akira's eyes grew wide as possible as he took the notebook from my hand. At that moment I disappeared, leaving him confused and speechless. The rain kept falling;. Akira's mind was thoroughly disturbed by what had happened. He took a step backward his eyes locked on the place I had just occupied. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as nervousness consumed him and his heart beat rapidly.

Akira dashed home dodging pedestrians and the road. He rushed inside quickly. Fastened the safety chain on the door. Then he locked his bedroom door. His breathing was uneven; his mind was still trying to make sense of what had occurred. Trying to calm down he whispered, "What I witnessed has to be a hallucination. There's no way I truly saw the Devil." He endeavored to convince himself it was a creation of his imagination. The memory of our meeting lingered, unwilling to let him go.

While Akira was seated at his desk trying to get his notes from the drawer he unexpectedly discovered the notebook I had given him. His face changed to one of astonishment. He exclaimed, "How?! How?! How?!" It dawned on him all at once—the meeting we had was genuine and the notebook was evidence.

Akiras dread transformed into exhilaration. With caution he opened the notebook, his pulse racing with eagerness. As he did a lightning bolt cracked through the sky. I showed up before him again.. This time Akira didn't recoil. Instead he greeted me with a smile, a spark of playfulness shining in his gaze.

"I expected you to come, Lucifer " Akira said confidently. "You probably wonder why I'm not scared when you appear. That's because I've come to terms, with it – you plan to control me " I lifted an eyebrow, fascinated by Akira's daring.

Completely astonished by Akira's calmness I grabbed the notebook from his hands. "Shall I review the rules with you?" I asked, a touch of intrigue, in my tone. Akira's grin grew broader as he answered, "Sure why not?" I started outlining the rules; my voice was soft yet clear and deliberate.

Rule one:the first person who observes me becomes the one who controls me.

Rule two:this person is entitled to use me as they wish and I will comply with all their commands except one – I will not take my life.

Rule three:the controller of me is prohibited from accessing either heaven or hell.

Rule four:the person possessing me will die within ten years.

Upon my finishing reading, Akira got up his eyes sparkling with determination.

"Devil, get down on your knees," Akira ordered in a very commanding tone. "You are my servant now. I will employ you to change this world into a new paradise."

I grinned, a mix of curiosity and confidence. I could tell that Akira is going to be more dangerous than me, the Lucifer God of ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌sins!
